The South Kensington area is WAY more classy and reserved and dignified. Central London/Bond Street/Oxford Street is full of wannabe's and is so fast paced, the sales associates barely even look you in the eye. Harrods in Knightsbridge is always good. It's a luxury mall after all! Also a mall called 'Westfield has a section called 'The Village'. If you ever come back, be sure to check out it out. Westfield mall 'The Village' is good because it is sectioned off from the main mall - so people don't take the time to walk all the way there unless they are actually going to buy things. Basically it isn't just full of people who walk in off the street and try too hard, which is what many stand alone stores suffer. Other than that, Harrods is awesome. Also Harvey Nichols is good. Other than that Sloane Square is also good.

You're totally welcome! There are 2 westfields. One in East London and another in West London.... West London is a little less rough, with less dodgy characters than the East. Good luck on your next trip, wherever that is and i'll continue to enjoy your vids in the meantime!
Whenever I visit the Louis Vuitton in San Francisco the service is the worst and as 90% of the SA's speak Mandarin they seem to favor helping the Asian tourists. The service in SL and Gucci though, always on point.
I experienced the same when I visited LV store in San Francisco. I am Asian, and I was treated like a piece of garbage by the Asian SA. I couldn't believe how rude and ignorant she was to me. It bugged me so much I complained to LV website and wrote a letter to the LV store in SF, but they did literally nothing. On that day, I was planing to buy a $7,000 trunk, but was treated very poorly. Now whenever I go to SF, I avoid going to that boutique. I prefer small boutique in Westfield Mall or Saks. The SAs are very friendly completely the opposite of the big LV boutique in Union Square.
OMG loved loved loved your shoe collection. The Gucci paisley loafers TDF. The red soles on the LB's with the contrast colours, baby you have great taste. One can NEVER have too many shoes!

Great video as always and some really great pieces too. The Gucci pick ups are definitely my favourites. I totally understand what you mean about SLP on Bond Street. Many of the great SA's left after Hedi moved on and although the service is still good it lacks the personal touch. SLP Sloan Street is better now in my opinion. LV is a lottery as regards to customer service. I have two fabulous SA's and have a great relationship with one of the managers there too so I always feel well looked after but I know what you mean about it being super busy. I normally sit where the RTW is and am assisted there. Many of the SA's at Gucci have been there for many years and they are more relaxed and friendly while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. Did you not go into the Men's Louboutin boutique on Dover street? They often have boutique exclusives. Thanks for sharing.

There are videos here on youtube of how to apply a thin clear pastic strip to the bottom of your loubies so they do not get discoloured/scrapped up. You should do that!! Hate to see beautiful expensive shoes get trashed.

I think ur ysl t shirt is from previous season (2014 or 2015), that one pretty much sold out everywhere. it looks so good cuz it shows both art as well as the logo itself :) . Also its good to see you picked up harness with chain boots cuz they are no longer in permanent collection :). Amazing haul as always, keep it up Alex :)

lol I'm from London and I agree with you. Harrods is the best place to shop for one the costumer service is fantastic plus you have the points system. Sloan street is another good place to shop but it's a small road and I feel they don't have much in stock. So for my second favourite has to be Selfridges. Amazing service and the stock they have there is fantastic. If your a Londoner you know you have 4 options Harrods, Selfridges, Sloan & New Bond Street. The reason everyone is needy and rude is because they are most likely searching for something they couldn't find in Harrods, selfridges or Sloan. New Bond Street is always the last resort. Lol so now you know why lol

I did go to Liberty! It was a really neat Department store. Although I was thinking about buying a luxury British Brand Item as a souvenir I thought long and hard about it and it just didn't seem like it would make sense because I would have to force myself to wear something I wasn't totally in love with. Although tax may be higher we pay a much higher price for Luxury Items based on import! :)
Being from england I definitely agree with you that some people are quite obnoxious. We still have the tiniest bit of the class system in our society, and the people you encountered were probably higher class. But great haul you have such an eye for style!

Going to Bond Strt. is like going to the worst tourist traps of the world. Stick to Sloane Strt. Shouldn't be like that, but LV is in my opinion on a downward spiral. Even here in Oslo it took 30min. before someone even attended to me, and by that time I chose to leave. No one treats me like that with the wrap sheet I have with this brand. Even if I hadn't I would not have accepted that kind of customer service. Walked across the street to Gucci instead.

You are welcome to London anytime, but you do know a label and quality don't equate all the time. An unbranded bespoke made item is likely to be better quality.
Stunning haul! Congratulations and I am so glad you loved London. It is my favourite city, along with Florence. I especially like the multi-coloured Gucci shoes. They are so Hollywood in the 1930s, totally timeless, you will still be able to wear them when you are 80. PS: People need to spend more time in art galleries. If they did, they would see that throughout history, men have worn make-up. They did so until the Victorian era, when it went out of fashion. Now make-up is deemed anti-masculine, but that was not always the case. It is all cultural conditioning, not something inherent in a specific gender. Clothing too. If a man in the USA or Australia wears a skirt he is a 'bloody poof' at best, but if the same man wears the same skirt in Scotland, he is wearing national clothing. The same with elaborate woven silk robes in Japan and China. Make-up proves absolutely nothing about sexuality. A man can be a straight as a ruler and have it on an inch thick or he can be a queer as a mountain road and have a face devoid of even moisturiser. Thank you for the video and have a fabulous day!

1) Many Items that are made in Europe such as France or Italy are much cheaper in the continent of Europe than USA Because less import/export taxes being tackled onto items like they are once they arrive in America 2) the US Dollar Compare to the British Pound is not quite but almost equal so the price difference if you are paying with US Dollars in Pounds or Euros is a significant Savings 3) Big Luxury Brands excluding Chanel which they tend to mirror their prices worldwide no matter the currency situation - are cheaper in Europe than the rest of the world 4) if you are a foreigner such as an American Visiting UK or France you qualify for something called TAX REFUND where you re refunded either on your credit card or by Cash the Tax that is included in the purchase for shopping in the country of purchase.

After hearing about the way people are treated in the LVxSupreme popup stores I doubt LV is a luxury brand anymore. Customers spending thousands of EUR/USD treated basically as cattle. It feels very demeaning. After several somewhat unfriendly or rude experiences in Europe and the US (Asia is an exception, the customer service is always perfect but in my opinion that doesn't justify the 20-30% higher price compared to the West), I simply just order things online, especially when I know exactly what I want. Honestly the boutique shopping experience has become something I kinda want to avoid most of the time now.
I have never had an issue at any Louis Vuitton store. I do feel that Gucci service is underwhelming and one is treated like "get in, get out" .... everyone will have a difference experience.

Please, as a British citizen something that really gets to me is that Americans always say England meaning the whole of the United Kingdom. Just say Britain or UK. England is just one part! Oh and I am English not Scottish Northern Irish, Welsh, Manx, Jersey or Gurnsey resident but it still gets to me just as most Americans think of the UK as London, Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon. Also, for most Brits a trip to London is like pulling teeth, it is a truly awful place and one of the most unfriendly I have ever been to. Much prefer New York where I have only experienced kindness and friendliness.

San Diego reps are pretty trash too at any luxury store. Except one girl that worked at Burberry but she doesnt work there anymore now.

Going to Bond Strt. is like going to the worst tourist traps of the world. Stick to Sloane Strt. Shouldn't be like that, but LV is in my opinion on a downward spiral. Even here in Oslo it took 30min. before someone even attended to me, and by that time I chose to leave. No one treats me like that with the wrap sheet I have with this brand. Even if I hadn't I would not have accepted that kind of customer service. Walked across the street to Gucci instead.

You are welcome to London anytime, but you do know a label and quality don't equate all the time. An unbranded bespoke made item is likely to be better quality.

Stunning haul! Congratulations and I am so glad you loved London. It is my favourite city, along with Florence. I especially like the multi-coloured Gucci shoes. They are so Hollywood in the 1930s, totally timeless, you will still be able to wear them when you are 80.
PS: People need to spend more time in art galleries. If they did, they would see that throughout history, men have worn make-up. They did so until the Victorian era, when it went out of fashion. Now make-up is deemed anti-masculine, but that was not always the case. It is all cultural conditioning, not something inherent in a specific gender. Clothing too. If a man in the USA or Australia wears a skirt he is a 'bloody poof' at best, but if the same man wears the same skirt in Scotland, he is wearing national clothing. The same with elaborate woven silk robes in Japan and China.
Make-up proves absolutely nothing about sexuality. A man can be a straight as a ruler and have it on an inch thick or he can be a queer as a mountain road and have a face devoid of even moisturiser.

1) Many Items that are made in Europe such as France or Italy are much cheaper in the continent of Europe than USA Because less import/export taxes being tackled onto items like they are once they arrive in America 2) the US Dollar Compare to the British Pound is not quite but almost equal so the price difference if you are paying with US Dollars in Pounds or Euros is a significant Savings 3) Big Luxury Brands excluding Chanel which they tend to mirror their prices worldwide no matter the currency situation - are cheaper in Europe than the rest of the world 4) if you are a foreigner such as an American Visiting UK or France you qualify for something called TAX REFUND where you re refunded either on your credit card or by Cash the Tax that is included in the purchase for shopping in the country of purchase.

After hearing about the way people are treated in the LVxSupreme popup stores I doubt LV is a luxury brand anymore. Customers spending thousands of EUR/USD treated basically as cattle. It feels very demeaning. After several somewhat unfriendly or rude experiences in Europe and the US (Asia is an exception, the customer service is always perfect but in my opinion that doesn't justify the 20-30% higher price compared to the West), I simply just order things online, especially when I know exactly what I want. Honestly the boutique shopping experience has become something I kinda want to avoid most of the time now.

I have never had an issue at any Louis Vuitton store. I do feel that Gucci service is underwhelming and one is treated like "get in, get out" .... everyone will have a difference experience.

Please, as a British citizen something that really gets to me is that Americans always say England meaning the whole of the United Kingdom. Just say Britain or UK. England is just one part! Oh and I am English not Scottish Northern Irish, Welsh, Manx, Jersey or Gurnsey resident but it still gets to me just as most Americans think of the UK as London, Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon.
Also, for most Brits a trip to London is like pulling teeth, it is a truly awful place and one of the most unfriendly I have ever been to. Much prefer New York where I have only experienced kindness and friendliness.
