Band : Spock's Beard From : Los Angeles, USA Album : The Light Style : Symphonic Prog Rock Label : Inside Out Music 1995 Album : www.discogs.com/fr/Spocks-Bea...
Mr. Morse attempts his first long form piece and basically comes through with flying colors. 😉 Although the one section might be a tad jarring to some - both musically and lyrically - it’s definitely balanced out, in my opinion, by the section that directly follows it. The Nealster let’s each band member shine through on their respective instruments, including the Floydian, female backing vocalists. Morsie the Horsie would definitely get better with his twenty minute plus epic prog-rock journeys, but this is quite the admirable start. “The Water” has Neal finding his full fettle, from mellow to metal. Prog On, bruddahs and sistas… PROG ON! 🤘🐸🤘(And Frog 🐸 On, too.) Cheers from Noo Yawk, ova heyah! =8^ )
