Shot out to the Air flight ‘89’s, I love those! I had a ton of them back in junior high, and just got my first pair since then, earlier this year. They are a true classic.

I'm sure you've seen it but Jordan Brand has said that their future 4s will be made in the same silhouette/model as this year's SB 4, with next year's Bred Reimagined, Military Blue, and Fear colorways expected to be done with the same wider mold. Saw the news via SoleSavy and not from the brand itself but hyped for the change for sure!
You are literally the first person to show me the Levi's 580s from NB. I now need to grab a pair. This year was a great year for sneakers because of the diversity but I never was a samba fan and I've never been a Fair weather fan of anything in fashion. I like what I like n that's it. So my collection is less Hype and way more personal. I think the re imagined 3s r the most hype shoe I own.

Bro I just did my “most worn of 23” video and said almost the same thing about the flight 89. I wore the Sonics colorway a ton last year. Haven’t posted the video yet but it’s hilarious bc you think the same way I do about the silhouette. The flight 89 is what I played church league in. Man I love this list. A lot of similarities to my top pickups of the year. (Mine was all actual pickups too). Eddie your channel is so refreshing. Hope your 24 is your best year yet!

Best sneaker of the year for me was the bubbles SB from the powerpuff pack. I was looking forward to those since the summer time. I had high expectations already for those, but in hand they just blew my mind to smithereens.

Great list, man. Seeing the Stüssy flights at 4 after seeing the white cements at 5 did shock me a bit. Only shoe in your list I don’t really like. Have you checked out the 991v2 yet in grey? Stunning shoe and top five material for me this year. Your number one choice was so surprising and in a good way! I love that shoe and it’s also my Sb of the year. Yo, if your Top 10 sneakers of 2023 DOESN'T include the Playoff 8s, I simply cannot trust you. You're not a real sneakerhead. You're in it for the wrong reasons. Obviously, I'm joking. But not by much. That was mt first pair of Jordans as a kid in 93. I had to combine my birthday and Christman to get em, since we were pretty poor, but I wouldn't change a thing. It's one of my all time favorite sneakers, and I HAD to double up. Glad to see so many people with them on their lists. Good man, sir! I'll sub just for that.

I always loved the Flight 89’s had a pair as a kid and I got a pair now but they’re finally on their way out, it’s been my every day sneaker for the last two years. 👍👍💯%!!!!
Not sure about the Wortherspoon hate either. Had someone just flat out tell me they hate him when they saw me wearing a pair of his shoes. I asked why, had no concrete reason.
Man I moved in many similar directions last year. Didn’t get the red 3’s - did grab the Fears. Didn’t grab those Stüssy Air Flights but I definitely picked up the Stüssy Vandals. Didn’t see the RTJ Dunks coming, that pack looks great, I’m surprised I haven’t seen more of either of them. I loved some boring stuff last year 😂 Ice Blue Jordan 1 mids. AM1 Worldmake Korea. Dunk High Retro 50 Years of Hip Hop. I love the Jason Kidds, the Flight 95’s and they put a dope colorway out of that which I’d rate higher if the outsole wasn’t so icy. More Uptempos got a lot of love last year and the black colorway with the neon orange/pink/blue is one of my most worn pairs of the whole year, just killer old school vibes all the way. The tongue on those even has a 90’s lenticular printed logo. 🔥 Nobody bought these 😂

AJ4s are comfortable on feet for me, never had any issues with them, also you should have put the ES Muskas on your list.

Jordan brand has gone to say that the sb 4 will be the standard for comfort and build on all 4s going forward. Also, can you throw in some honorable mentions next time? Would be cool to see which just missed the cut. Or maybe also a top 10 most affordable sneaker of the year for 2023 ??

SW gets hate because he was reselling pairs of his own sneakers in certain sizes before they had even dropped…
He also has a reputation of being “a one hit wonder” these gazelle’s definitely saved him tho
@@Lkysevenagreed. The airmax1/97 dont age well at all either. I just think if certain sizes havent even been released to the public and you resell you own shoe at your store in those sizes its a DB thing to do. He even deleted his post because he got a lot of shit for it.
Unsure how true this actually is. From what I recall, early pairs did pop up via some reseller accounts on IG before the release, but SW went to vent in the comments that pairs somehow ended up going to other people before him despite it being his collab.
He also later clarified in another random IG comment that due to his eagerness to sign a contract with Nike without any proper legal representation, he did not receive many/any (unclear on this) pairs at wholesale price to gift to family & friends and/or sell for retail at his store. He was then having to buy back pairs from resellers after the official release to have any stock of his own collab.
