@@kookie-rd6pe only those who have completed their MBBS from a medical college accredited by a body, which is recognised by WFME (World Federation for Medical Education), will be able to take the USMLE .
I'm completed my Internship in April 2021. I gave neet pg in sept 2021 and got decent score. Due to delay in counseling process this year I got MS ENT seat in April 2022. Now I didn't join that seat and decided to give usmle for internal medicine. I will definitely give my step1 in dec 2022. So I have 1 gap year in my CV ie from April 2021 to April 2022 in which i prepared for neet pg for few months, wrote a research paper for few months and worked as medical officer in a hospital for 2 months. So is this a red flag for application
Thank you so much
You're welcome O:)
Keep up the good work. Really helpful information.
Glad you liked it! :)
What if you have research experience, but no publication was made
That’s alright! Still counts as research experience

Not even a single college is accredited by WFME in India. If you are in India maximum eligibility is till 2024

As Dr. Watts mentioned in this video, as long as you address it, it won't be a strict red flag
