    I started to have interest in English after I graduated in college, because I was aiming for a better job and dominant of the company I applied preferred someone who do communicate well using English language. It's a little bit frustrating at first because I always have this thought that it's already too late for me to learn English considering that I am already at my mid 20s. But I was wrong,I somewhat feel little improvement with my written and verbal communication skills with the help of some videos on youtube including yours regardless of my age rigth now. ( I find it harder to construct sentences like this before when I was still schooling, and I think my thoughts were already comprehensible.)

    For me, how i made myself fluent in english like i actually made it like my 1st language before way back grade school to high school were reading english books, listening to english s0ngs, write j0urnal and talking to myself. Literally gave me best results. But sadly, i was addicted to cellph0ne thats why such habits stopped making those vanished. N0w im having a hard time speaking english. Sad.

      That explains it. 😊 How often do you actually speak English? If you speak it daily, it will be easier for you.
      On the other hand, you understand the language easily because perhaps you're used to watching English videos.

    Hi Ma'am Rea. I'm 18 and I'm planning to apply after this ECQ.
    My concern is I understand English very well. I have good records at school and also I used to read and write a lot.
    It's just that when I try to speak, I stutter and always having a mental block but also I think I can do it or improve it throughout the training process.
    However I'm afraid I might not be able to speak fluently and lose the chance of getting hired..

    Hindi ko alam bat ang daming gusto mag apply sa callcenter .. Unang una mga paasa sila.. pangalawa masaydo mataas expextation nila.. pili lang tlg ang pwede sa industry na yan.. meron pa ung tatawanan ka ng mga trainer mo dahil sa maling pronunciation.. kaarte ng mga nasa call center.. kung tutuusin ang sahod jan nde enough pra sa mga irate na customer.. tpos dagdagan mo pa ng mga TL mo na mataas ang lipad.. sorry sa opinon ko.. pede nio naman po ako sagutin.. BAKIT? May mga gantong trbho at tao na naloloko ung sariling kapwa nila

    • @ReaNinja
      @ReaNinja  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kahit saang industry naman present yung mga nasabi mo, hindi lang sa call center. I'm not sure what your exact experience is para masabi mong paasa at mataas expectation, and mukhang may pinaghuhugutan ka rin but I understand your frustration. You have the right to express yourself.
      You also have to know though that if companies have high expectations, it's their right to demand such from applicants because they only want the best ones to get hired. And yes, pili lang talaga. Kahit saan ka mag apply, pinipili talaga kung sinong pwede makapasok dahil may criteria for hiring ang each company. :)
      I hope you will be able to find a company that truly values you, pero you can't just generalize all companies and even trainers kasi marami naman maayos din. It's also unfair to say na maarte ang mga nasa call center (then again I'm not sure anong basis mo). And when it comes to sahod, again, I'm not sure where you are to say na hindi enough. :)

      to be honest hndi lahat ng trainor or hiring Manager's mataas ang lipad may marami pa ding matitino at very considerate..masasabi ko lng it depends upon the "culture" within the company.. maraming hndi nag college or hndi graduate ng college pero nasa BPO bakit BPO its because it offers a lot of opportunities.
