As a photographer myself, I love it when these sort of videos show brain dead security guards up for the idiots they are when it comes to photography from a public place, but on this occasion I'm surprised you were in the right cos if you were filming from their car park, although it has public access it's still private property. Would love to be educated on this and proved wrong, cos at the end of the day I'm still on the side of photographers when they're acting within their rights.

Hi Marti, I’m an amateur photographer in the Durham area. I have lost count on the amount of times people have tried to quote non existent laws to me. I normally buckle and stop. Love your videos and the more you educate people the better. Keep up the good work.

I cannot understand why a shopping center don't allow the public to film/take photos on their premises. what are they hiding. And I can't get a grip on the mindset that a business that relies on footfall has when they think its ok for their staff to aggresivly approach and even assault customers for a breach of company policy, not for breaking a law but a breach of a minor nonsensical policy that's not even properly sign posted. bad business practice resulting in bad publicity resulting in lost revenue. It never used to be like this but it all went down hill in 1984 when PACE was introduced to the police. This was because of the police ballsed up cases and a got evidence wrong or mixed up.

Do an FOI request on that PCSO for her body cam . It'll give you the conflab between the cops in the van and her. Also, FOI request on any CCTV they have from the centre any other cameras that filmed it on. Remember they have hidden cameras, so when you send in the FOI ask for ALL cameras and not just CCTV.
