  • I wanted to talk about one of the ways that I get myself involved with my clay again after having a break or when my mind is a blank. To encourage you to get back into your hobby and find ways to get inspired again.

You can also make silver clays from grey etc by adding metallic powders you can buy cheap on eBay, plus fine glitters, no muddy colours have to look that way, you can make bronze, golds the lot and also try with adding petal metallics to translucent….it’s mind therapy without thinking to much x

I am loving "hearing" you on your vids now (but I also miss your funny notes!)
This is great Sarah. I don't stuff like this with icky veneers and canes. Usually end up with mud but it helps get my brain going. Just touching the clay and using the tools feels good in my hands.
    Not babbling...thinking out loud!
PS, the skinner blend colors were very cool

Aww thanks Wendy. It doesnt really matter what you choose to do, just find something that will engage you with your clay, especially if you have found yourself losing interest. Any kind of crafting is good for mindfulness. Thank you for your very kind words 🥰

Thank you for sharing. Those colours i the Skinner blend could be used in a flower cane. Inspiration, and a skill id like to work on. I want to try a rose cane but haven’t yet.

Well if you dont feel all that confident, you could use your scrap clay to practice, it doesnt matter about the colours until you nail the technique. Then imagine all the beautiful rose creations you can make! Ive tried a rose cane a couple of times and its surprisingly simple 👍 Go for it Stephanie, grab those scraps and feed that mojo! 😁❤
