No doubt if she had the money she would but its a lot of money in CS accumulated over time, and its a stretch to think she will be able to repay him. This is why the judge said there is no guarantee he will get the money back. Judge probably said that to get the mother off the hook as she is stating on film infront of a judge that she will pay him back and the man could potentially get a judgment against her based on that. With the "disclaimer" said by the Judge, the lady is off the hook for repayment. Guy seems like a decent man so he stands a good chance of letting it go seeing how it would be a financial burden on the child.

As bad as this actually was, it's amazing to see both of them be civil in the end. He even goes as far as to say that they're still good. That is true friendship right there. They are both hurt and that man spent a lot of money on a child that is not even his, and yet he looked past that and wants to keep their friendship steady. A horrible situation turned into something they handled better than a lot of others even could have tried.
The judge's remarks regarding being happy about paying child support was ludicrous. The only way to stop such fraud is for the courts to command retribution.

Every single birth a paternity test is always...ALways Offered!! And matter of fact, my friends are actually going through this. They were married and had separated for over a year and half. Slept together when they ended their outside relationships bc they thought they wanted different things...and she found out she was pregnant. Conception according to her Dr and the due date...all pointed to her husband. At BIRTH...They Offered them a paternity test and he turned it down saying it didn't matter to him bc legally they're married and she would automatically have his last name if they didn't push the test....a few weeks went by and he changed his mind, did one from home and found out THE baby wasn't actually his.... knowing there was a 50/50 chance she wasn't his, I feel like he had a chance to take care of this to begin with at hospital and avoid what they're going through now... now it's a big deal although everyone knew from the beginning the baby quite possibly could be the past relationships. So yes everyone is offered paternity and you as the parents are able to Deny it or accept it...

Every single birth a paternity test is always...ALways Offered!! And matter of fact, my friends are actually going through this. They were married and had separated for over a year and half. Slept together when they ended their outside relationships bc they thought they wanted different things...and she found out she was pregnant. Conception according to her Dr and the due date...all pointed to her husband. At BIRTH...They Offered them a paternity test and he turned it down saying it didn't matter to him bc legally they're married and she would automatically have his last name if they didn't push the test....a few weeks went by and he changed his mind, did one from home and found out THE baby wasn't actually his.... knowing there was a 50/50 chance she wasn't his, I feel like he had a chance to take care of this to begin with at hospital and avoid what they're going through now... now it's a big deal although everyone knew from the beginning the baby quite possibly could be the past relationships. So yes everyone is offered paternity and you as the parents are able to Deny it or accept it...
Dorothy Crawley yes they should use what’s available to them... as I told them to do before leaving that hospital but nope I can’t make someone do something they don’t want to and now the only person hurt in this whole thing since we know for sure husband isn’t the father... is the baby girl. So hopefully it’ll work out in the end. Not my baby, not my drama...
Paternity test should be mandatory. But most women are against that. We all know why. Stop raising other men kids.

Aww he’s such a sweetheart, he was literally trying to make her feel better at the end despite the fact she stole his (and his REAL child’s) money.. Hope he finds a woman that treats him right and doesn’t leave him just because some other woman claimed he was a dad to a child born waaaay before they even got together..
