Even if Est is the "villain" here, I'm on his side. The people that you are closest to turn their backs on you while tossing you away like trash, and when you start to see them struggling after you are kicked out while you're doing well, you have to be pretty happy because they deserve everything that comes their way. What Stardust could've and should've done was either communicate that they want to kick him for his safety as they don't want him to die, or the better option, teach him how to defend himself.
@@gaofengwetony2139 The way the writer portrays him, it feels like the writer is trying to make him look like the antagonist after he was able to start doing better without his old team. And that's why I placed the quotes on the villain part as I don't feel he is a villain, and has every right to mock and humiliate his old team since they dropped the ball so badly. And all they had to be was clear on their communication and not appear to be a bunch of assholes.
@@Devilhand21and then there's Daru. Est walked in on him and Hina in a compromising position and naturally misunderstood and left. Daru obviously hasn't told Hina Est came by and is doing his own thing without talking to his party members. Daru acts wise but most of the misunderstanding is caused by him giving bad advice or not properly helping to explain things despite being older than all of them. The lesbian girl for the most part could also be holding back cause we haven't seen how she fights yet or what role she plays but you'd think she'd do her best to make sure Hina doesn't get injured with how obsessed she is with her
@@Devilhand21I see your point but he lost the moral high ground at this point. They're trying to be happy for him and yet he's clearly Doing all this out of nothing but spite. From his point of view it would seem fake. They kicked him out, assasinated his character, hook up behind his back, and then suddenly are friendly and supportive? It feels like 2 faced friends smiling in your face while praying on your downfall. They're literally all sharing 1 braincell. He doesn still have moral high ground because they could just be honest! Thats literally it! Nothing short of that will take high ground from him. Daru not telling hina. He walked in on them is hurting them.hina not telling him shes just worried is hurting them. This is pure misunderstanding but the miscommunication is all on them. They honestly deserve worse.
that's what I'm saying, and there always was the possibility that he could have a surge in power. I also don't like the fact that they acknowledged that Athena can't even fight properly but it never acquires to them that maybe that's a sign to start from ground 0
It's even worse than that, because of what they did they killed his reputation, so the only people that would then on join him would exploit him fully even with his death.
Why would they with the own rules they set up or supposedly set up? He was about to get killed like she was worried about until they pulled something out of their ass and suddenly he's a boss. I'm interested to see the reason he can now buff himself.
@@chucknorris2418 That was something I was hoping they would explain more than they already did, It's like MC does not even care why anymore ether. My one thought was he was injured and he touched his blood allowing him too. Basically other people he could touch and establish a link to enhance them but for himself he couldn't cause it was all apart of himself, but the blood then would be his but no longer apart of him allowing a link to be established and once it's established he can always go back to it. Sloppy theory I know but the best I could come up with the info at hand which is as much as a fart in the wind.
This story has a great idea but the author hurts his own story by losing the vision. The MC isn't Est or even Athena. It's actually Daru (the older guy). The whole story is framed to make the friend who got banished (Est) look like he's a villain when he's justified in his anger. And it turns out, none of this would even happen if the OTHER TWO MEMBERS (Daru and the mage girl) actually seriously in the first place because its revealed the Daru and mage girl are both OP from the start and have been holding back the entire time theyve been in the party (Daru was lazy and mage girl was too fixated on being "in love" with Athena). The whole story is poorly written, nothing of significance past the first 5 or 6 chapters actually takes place, and its a great example of how a good idea can turn to poop when you dont know where you want to go with it. Also, the whole thing ends with everyone having a Barney "lets hold hands" moment and decide theyre all friends again and Est and Athena both go their own ways to accomplish the same goal of being the strongest. Hope this summary helps someone not waste their time on this.
Instead of them just having a "let's hold hands moment" the plot for them forgiving each other and becoming friends again should've been more like "even though the misunderstanding and everything was cleared up, Est was still a bit bitter and conflicted in his emotions on whether or not he should forgive Athena and everyone, and they all end up having a full on heart to heart that rekindled their friendship"
I love how things get turned around for Est, his friends betrayal made him strong, while their suffering made them humble, and now everything they wanted will become his. This is what happens when you keep the people you love in the dark.
I m surprised after they kicked Est, he become strong and he did it solo while the party is not having a great time plus the dragon girl has great combat and strength but she lacks coordination
@@kingjaydenmvpthey kicked him out cause they thought he was too weak to fight but forgot that they were relying on him to buff them heal their injuries and carry their stuff as well as take care of chores. It was till a fight after kicking him out did they realise how much he did in the party and a new random member wasn't gonna do the stuff he did in the same way. What's worse is the other dude in the party could use healing magic and was stronger than they thought but kept his abilities hidden because he wanted to take things slowly so was willing to put the party in danger because of that. And the other girl who's obsessed with the party leader and doesn't do anything to help the other members of anything the other 2 should have been kicked out for keeping their real strength purposefully hidden
@@Marcus-oc4mw your statement is pretty interesting i have to say i m not offended or anything i think i m getting it but i have to say for the group that they have to work on trusting each other and contribute to their full potential of becoming true adventurers but i like your point
That's because it isn't that kind of a story. This story is trying to show a different side of this kind of thing. Est was not kicked out because he was weak, he was kicked out because he was a bad fit for the party. Even if he gave them buffs and heals, he couldn't keep up which actually put him and the whole party in danger. Take note of that Dragonnewt girl. She is super strong but she would be useless to the party if she couldn't actually work with them. So it ins't about the party being "humbled". They knew all along that they would suffer for kicking out their healer/buffer. But it was still the right choice in the long run. So while they are suffering now, they will be able to reach higher after suffering a bit. Meanwhile Est is rising quickly, but once he reaches his plateau, unless he can actually fix his original problem (being able to work properly in a team) he will lose and probably end up getting injured beyond recovery or worse.
My biggest gripe is that they kicked the mc out because they couldn’t “wait” for him to get stronger but yet spending everything after “waiting” for the girl to get stronger
the thing that makes the mc revenge even better is the mc strenth is in magic and seeing as he was so focused on helping others putting his own needs and training his magic got stronger as a result of using it so much on other people but he didnt think of using it on himself because he was so focused on others. in this one way the main guy and the leader of stardust where very much alike but now with est being kicked out hes now lost that side of himself and if that group ever wants to get him back if its ever posable they will have to have a serious talk about all the problems both before and after the break up
The difference is in what waiting means for them. The guy kicked out, while invaluable was also one big weak spot for the party due to his inability to fight by himself. But if they continued facing weaker enemies where a failure on his part wouldn't result in a tpk he wouldn't be pushed enough to make progress. By going on without him they can evolve in weaker areas and become a more stable party all around.
This girl actually has room temp IQ. If Est didnt have plot armor he easily could have died trying to achieve their dream on his own and she would have caused exactly what she tried to prevent with her betrayal.
@@ExodusCore 1. She's kicking him out and moving forward with it without him, if she discarded the idea all together then fine but she didn't so spare me the "jUsT a kId's pRoMiSE" nonsense. 2. She didn't just kick him out, if she said "We are sorry but we fear for your safety" and explained why and continued to check up on him that might have hurt but he would have understood it especially since we find out that he already knew he was lacking in power/skill after they kicked him out. Instead she as the closest person in his life completely crushed his spirit and discarded him. You have to be dense or have room temp IQ to say that Est is the problem and the emotional abuser here when from his perspective the only people he had threw him away like he was nothing. And the misunderstanding later only made it significantly worse.
Real issue seems to be that the party goes all in on supporting her dream, like it doesn’t matter that it was her and Este’s dream together. They chose to give up supporting his part of that dream and even when Athena seemed weak and struggling, they didn’t give up on her like they did Este. So they still mostly suck and I get why Este would hate them now.
if i started a group with a friend, a true friend, i would never kick them out. i may shift things around and maybe find them a different role, but will never kick them out.
Est as is was just as much of a liability as he was an asset. His abilities that allowed the party to punch above their level also made him into one giant weak spot that would lead to a tpk if he were taken out. Continuing the current formation of the party was just plain dangerous and as the one who was handling the support, he SHOULD know this.
6:10 defeats the reason for throwing Est away. Instead of being straight up with him and helping him train more to become someone who can survive they throw him away on some egotistical morality bs, then when Hina gets injured they decide to "restart over again from the bottom, because we're a party!(That's just what friends do edition!)" the author wants you to think they care but the reasoning behind their actions are really sloppy and hypocritical, which makes them seem like it's weaponized incompetence. EDIT: and then she went and tried to make small talk after the fact without considering how upset he might still be...
Dude, come off it. The party formation at the time NEEDED to change, but it wouldn't because it was working. Est's support allowed the party to punch above their weight class, but his inability to fight himself turned this into a double edged sword. If he fell in the middle of battle, that drop in performance you people seem to see as "karma" would've lead to everyone dying. Est, in that state was an active danger to the party at large.
@@samuelsoliday4381 come off what? I never mentioned karma either. I see you're stance, the party COULD just kick him out, but my problem with it is that they never even entertained the thought of helping pull Est up. The leader's reasoning was that they needed to become the greatest party and wanted to continue fighting stronger foes and taking on more difficult missions. to that end Est wasn't strong enough, I get that. They weren't going poor or hungry or otherwise desperate for funds and two people on their team are secret endgame badasses, they could have easily slowed it down and helped him learn a new method of fighting. I'm saying so because he didn't take long to learn that new ability (Maybe a week or two) so he was either already close to learning it or it's a plot contrivance. They act like they're doing him a favor by pretending they never liked him(Which would hurt most people that consider you an ally), then the leader has the nerve to try and talk to him like nothing's happened later on. Even if Est still ended up leaving, it could've been on more amicable terms than what it was but the lack of social accountability on the group's part made the situation what it became. When Hina realises the party's taken a hit from losing Est's buffs she cries about not being as strong as she thought she was and realizes that she needs to become stronger. The other two are perfectly ok with supporting her as she gets stronger, despite being her childhood friend and trusted ally, Est was not given this opportunity, that is why it's hypocritical, because she makes the point of saying they can't wait for him to catch up but they end up waiting for her anyway.
@@hydehg1441 It's not hypocritical when you actually take a look at the timeline. They already foresaw the drop in performance with Athena. They were prepared for it and were ready to help her move past it since they knew what the problem was. Est had been with the party from the start but hadn't shown any growth in the time they were together. They couldn't have helped him grow in lower areas because then the battles wouldn't be difficult enough to push him. And they couldn't do it with stronger monsters because then it would just be the same issue they were already in. The gap in their skills, especially with his buffs was to large to fix while they were in the same party. This separation NEEDED to happen in order to form a more stable party. The only thing they did wrong was their delivery. That's it.
@@samuelsoliday4381 Est and Athena were the first two members and then the other two joined a couple months later. They started shooting up the ranks quickly, so by the time Est is kicked out it probably hasn't even been a full year yet, probably 9-10 months total. Daru the swordsman says they should wait and give him some time to grow, but Athena doesn't want to wait. My take away is that Daru wanted to wait because his opinion as a seasoned veteran was that Est could still grow in a reasonable timeframe. considering it was only a couple weeks later Est learned that self buff skill, he was probably on point. Athena was pushing too fast and didn't want to or didn't consider slowing down and just jumped to "Est will die!!" this is a shortcoming in her leadership. It makes her look impatient, and she WAS being impatient there. The hypocritical part is that she didn't see a problem with kicking him out, saying they "can't wait" but they ended up taking extra time anyway and we're now down a member on top of that. How fast was Est supposed to break his limits? that's unfair. EDIT: nvm it wasn't weeks later that he unlocked the ability to self buff, I rewatched it was soon after he was kicked out.
@@hydehg1441 You can't use hindsight to prove a point here. Would you still be saying it was a mistake if Est never gained the ability to boost himself?
I just love the blatant double standard. When Est struggles to keep up with the group they kick him out. But when Athena struggles they suddenly have all the patience in the world and are willing to do anything to help her.
There is no double standard here. Athena was struggling because she was in the process of unlearning her old habits from fighting with Est. Est struggled because he himself couldn't fight for shit and presumably, any attempt they made to help him improve didn't work. Athena's issues were able to be worked out in a relatively safe environment. Est's weakness actively put the entire party in danger.
@@samuelsoliday4381 WRong, so did Daru helping dragon girl and mage girl. Est was indanger because they went to levls above their league BECAUSE EST's support allowed them to. Without EST they got no support and got in danger far more than with Est.
@@leiviniabirdway5945 You've got it backwards. Est granting them the ability to fight above their levels, actually made his own weakness that much more dangerous. If Est got taken down in a tough fight, and the party had to deal with the sudden drop in performance mid-battle, it would've caused the entire party to wipe out. That's what I mean when I said he was putting the party in danger. The party formation was unstable and basically made Est into one giant weak spot. Even if they got injured more after he left, their lives were actually in LESS danger after kicking him out than before.
I really find this shit stupid, because like they could have trained him and help him get stronger, but nooo they thought the best route was to leave him by himself to figure out a way to survive and now they're butt hurt that he came back stronger and better than them, and Garu has the gaul to say that at the end instead of telling Est why they did that, like wtf. Idk this shit just really pisses me off bro.
Creative writing technique number 4, have characters make the wrong decision and jump to the wrong conclusions whenever possible to increase the level of tension/drama. Make what would be a 5 minute story in to an impressive 50 hours!
Also also did she really think that Est wouldn't continue adventuring because since he has like no other way to live, mean that if he was weak when he was with them and he could have died by himself which would defeat the purpose of kicking him, like bitch you really are dumb. Also it kind of pissed me off that she gets mad when people make fun Est, but like bitch no shit he's the weakest and y'all didn't care, and also they kicked out the support unit, like how are you this restarted like no shit you're weak without him. Also again why not help him get stronger or something like bitch you're the leader look out for your team like WTF.
thats my thought too. when est cast that magic on himself for the first time i think it looked pritty clear he didnt think about casting the buff spells on himself. he was so focused on the girl he likes he didnt think of his own combate development and just took any roll to try to impress the girl. if they only helped him for a change instead of thinking he would as some in the gameing comunity would say [ get good ] they would have been an even better team but nooo they wanted to take the easy way and just replace him . as for the misunderstanding . est was a childhood friend of the girl and she didnt notice his atemps throw deeds to impress her and the guy looks like the typical jock that breaks laws and would most times get the girl . think of it this way . if you saw empty bottles of wine and the jock leaning over a good looking girl what would you think ? it was ether 1 they ran into big problems in there job or 2 there celebrating and looking for your replacement . also est is right to be mad at being kicked out after all he did for the group and the thanks he gets is being kicked out
Honestly I think all four of these characters are morons. None of them are honest with each other. The 3 people that did the banishing decided to not elaborate and be honest with the real reason they banished him, and the kid that was banished is Letting his emotions cloud his judgment and has now allowed his new power and fame to change him for the worst and It's all just so he can be spiteful.
To be fair to them, spellcasters are typically known to be the least guarded in terms of defenses. Armor tends to be hindering for them, and they’re not normally known to use weapons all too often, and the ones they normally can use by RPG rules tend to not exactly be the strongest. Physically they tend to be at disadvantages, which is why they’re normally set up in the rear of parties for the most part. With the MC’s presumed inability to actually enchant himself, it put him in an even bigger disadvantage in terms of defending himself, and that’s something a party would have to worry about a lot. If anything, I mainly appreciate that we actually got some noble intentions from the party this time around, rather than them kicking him out strictly due to taking him for granted, not understanding his value, or being jealous of him. This was done more so out of concern than anything, though the MC also has good reason to feel hurt by this
Athena is a horrible party leader. She selfishly chose to destroy est's hopes and dreams because she couldn't just nut up and be better next time. She chose to be weak and take the easy way out. And what would have happened if est didn't manage to get that miraculous power up when he did? They would have found his corpse or a piece of his gear and everything she did and said would have been for nothing. No, it would have been worse because she would have driven him to his death with her selfish choice. And daru didn't even tell Athena about what happened when est came back and saw them in a compromising position to forewarn her of the fallout that might happen from it. Everyone in that stupid party suck at communicating or thinking about consequences. And that moron tried to drag her up to him instead of picking her up from the side.
Personally I think this should have been either a "we kicked him out and he got everything he ever wanted and we only ever became midling to low high tier" type story or a tragedy. If it was a tragedy then it should have gone something like this. Daru would have been his lazy self until a biiig time monster event happens and he loses an arm, the loli wizard completely loses her ability to cast magic, dragon girl rushes in and dies, and Athena is severely injured and about to be killed by this endgame boss monster. Then est comes in and kills it, but is mortally wounded in the process and the party has to watch as all this happens. Then as he lays dying, they drag themselves to him and beg for him to live and apologize. But by this point it's far too late, and he refuses to allow daru to even try to heal him, tells them he hates them and why, and asks was it worth it? Did things work out how you were hoping? Are you happy with your choices? They can't answer him and he dies laughing a sad, bitter, little laugh. The ending would be daru has to retire and set up a small clinic to use his healing magic to get by and kinda just fades away knowing he really screwed everything up by being lazy and refusing to step up earlier, the little mage girl has to find some menial job that she can do now that she can't cast magic and has lost Athena's affections completely due to her not doing the best she could and making sure her "rival" est was out of the party and never showing any remorse or regret for what they did, and Athena trying vainly to keep her promise to est now and reaching the top spot as an adventurer but always failing until finally giving up and fading into obscurity knowing that one extremely foolish and selfish decision ruined every hope and dream she and her party however had. And the one person she loved so very much died hating her in misery after reaching the peak of the word, doing something she couldn't, only after he suffered so much because of her bad decision. She lives with that as a hermit or lonely lady for the rest of her life. Either of those would have been better in my book. The first would have them have to watch as he surpasses them and finds happiness and they have to settle for never truly reaching where they wanted to be, and the latter gets dark and really punishes them for what they did. Either way they suffer for their bad decisions, one is just way worse.

I would like for Est to call them out but I think he is broken. And some third character aside from his new companions that befriends Est slowly realizing something doesn't add up and calls out the ex party members. Their gaslighting, Athena's failure to express her feelings earlier, Daru's failure to notify Athena and Est of misunderstanding, Daru and the Elf girl's failure to protect Est give that its revealed that they are stronger but keep it hidden, failure to train Est the way they trained the dragon girl and Athena after Est mocks them (while wouldn't condone rubbing in the face, they deserved it. Oh but he is too mean but it's okay for them to call out Est, the freaking gaslighting in story). Oh and their lack of apology. It always seems super fake with how the dismantlement and kicking from parties go. Wording is important and you learn how to word things to sound enticing to the other members when you’ve done enough missions together. If being the enchanted was such a risky job, positioning would’ve been key. Even if an enchanted can’t fight back, adding another to take the place as the head support would’ve been the best scenario. Then you could keep tabs on your beloved enchanted and have the necessary protection you seek for the party member. All n all, the leader is quite a novice. Every party member is risking there lives, holding one above the others is not how parties are made
Not just that but supports no matter how they are are crucial for becoming successful after all any person who has played a strategic game can understand the value of a support
this, i hate how the this is probably the first time he got hurt. he realized he was weak when it came to actual battles so he even worked harder as it was stated, but because of the leaders obsession with him and his health he was kicked out to "keep him safe" which from what we actually saw if he didn't get the ability to enchant himself he would have died without a doubt.

this is a good story poorly executed. it has promise and is a break from the dime-a-dozen 'weak MC gets harshly kicked out of party then gets stupid OP and humiliates them later' trope but it doesn't really hit the mark anywhere important. if i were to have this remade i'd have had them suspend him from the party instead of kick him out that way he's still a member just not joining them on missions. that way he still get his character arc and we still get to see the party have to deal with him not being around and facing the new addition.
I'm not going to lie this is a unique Twist on things even though it's a tale as old as time when it comes to Fantasy stories it's still unique because they didn't kick the character that eventually becomes overpowered out because he was a hindrance to them they kicked them out because they didn't want him to die💯😭😭😭😭
11:15 Can you blame Est for turning evil at this moment? From Est's perspective, expelled from the party he co-founded, being called worthless by said party and now the girl he loved is with the other male member of their party. I'd be doing exactly what Est is doing in this situation.
Hard to feel sorry for the main party when they brought that on themselves, and most of them aren’t even likable (especially the mage girl, she’s the worst of the bunch)!
Kinda wish Est wasn't being made to be the villain. Like instead of him finding his own power and being arrogant I would have just made it to wear he builds up his skills surprisingly quick but has cut off almost all emotions but leave just a bit of room for resentment. If thebparty tries to talk to him, he'll completely ignore them or limit his responses to just 3 to 5 words
What did they expect when they decided to kick the support member? They was relying on him so much that they forgot that they are weaker without him Party without support is like a soccer team without a goal keeper 💀
Spoilers: I read a bit further and I think Est is going to be made into the villain. Doru comes off as a good guy but I think he wanted Est out because Athena and the other girl reminded him of his old team. He’s not even tried to remedy the problem with that drunken night with Est nor has he told Athena about it. He may not be evil himself but he’s got a very hidden selfish personality underneath.
This would of been a good story if the old man wasn't the mc, personally i say est should be the mc. And it it would be funny if est got to the top realised the misunderstand and they made amends, however that just my opinion. But #1 problem in my book is that est is not the MC
Horrible story good idea huh? The made Est seem like the bad guy while Daru is good. I mean YOU kicked him out without properly explaining to him, Daru seems generic and i guess the author will let Ethena and Daru be in a relationship. It is a waste not to have Est as the mc since the development of his char will be much better than whatever the author is cooking. I would love to read a story where Est slowly realize that they meant good for him and later on come back with them not some “Yeah Est now cokcy, Est bad, Daru protected Ethena, Ethena loves Daru” bullshit
EXACTLY!!! Est’s ability is literally the definition of teamwork and these guys kicked him out with no remorse, to be honest. Athena is now weak and experiencing the same issues as Est and it's ‘don’t worry guys. We’ll pull through as a team.’ They did Est extremely filthy.
They kicked him out because they didn't think he could get that strong in the first place, and now that he is strong, they're not just going to ask him to come back. They know they missed out. Now, they're trying to get stronger on their own. I mean, would it have been better if they just kept relying on him instead of actually growing strong on their own with their own effort?
Also the main girl even though it hurts her, She knows she hurt his feelings and he has a right to some pay back. That's why she wasn't fighting bagainst his ridicule. In fact she's probably happy that he's so strong and doesn't need her anymore. Yes she is an idiot for not relaying her feelings and a way that he could understand but, you can't call her a horrible person because she is taking responsibility for her actions and is working to become better.
@@michaelmurray8134 No. I’m not talking about Athena, she’s alright but I think she should have relayed her feelings better or just explain the situation to Est, he would’ve understood or at least trained himself. It’s the others I have a problem with, they didn’t try to stop her with Est but with Athena, they used all their efforts for her.
Actually looking at the story, I see why it has such a bad reputation. Trying to keep this comment as spoiler free as possible, but prepare for some REALLY convoluted and boneheaded decisions on a lot of aspects and problems. Better way to put it, it's like chopping down a tree just to get one leaf from it. Not a satisfying payoff AT ALL.
So it is completed? How many chapters does it drag through? ...normally I'd just try to check it myself, but I'm really not feeling it this seems like a skip everything and read the last 3 chapters to spare yourself from the high drama, bad decision, jumping to conclusions that have been one after another in this recap.
First let me thank you for posting this. I got to say this seems almost typical and yet it isn't because unlike all the other stories of parties kicking out essential members of the group, this one took a darker turn and showed the consequences of miscommunication. It's one thing to want to protect someone, but the way Athena did it was the wrong way to go about it. Instead of protecting her dearest friend she wound up turning Est into her bitter enemy. Daru and Milialia are equally at fault because one is too lazy to do his part while the other is too busy obsessing over Athena. And then they go and bring in another random member, a dragon kin girl, who is both uncooperative and completely unhinged, when they're starting to see full well that they just threw away the one thing that kept their party together. Est decides to discover his own power and succeeds, but when he goes to visit he is met with a site that would naturally turn any man or woman bitter when they see the person they like in another man's arms. That one misunderstanding added on to another and it turned into hatred for one, and regret for the other. There's a moral to this little fable, if you don't communicate properly, tragedy will come knocking at the door.
For what I read, I don’t necessarily hate this. There are Some thing that don’t make sense and I don’t think the author thought it through. I like how the villain is and this is one of those time where you want the villain to win. Athena’s action have consequences and the rest of the guild just didn’t care about est. it’s shown at the end when daru defends athena from est from insulting the team est and athena started. lol what’s funny is daru lecturing est about what kind person Athena is like est didn’t grow up with athena
Nah let Daru have the bitches cuz I dont think Est cares about them now . I only want Est to surpass Athena's party and have a nice party who encourages each other and not like Athenas party who only cares about cheering up Athena.
@@jotarokujo3782 more like none of them deserve est but yeah the author tries his hardest to gaslight the readers into making est the bad guy and how he was wrong. Lets just say it didn't go well with the JP readership
ok i for one think there was a problem with the group right from the start. for the rolls you have 2 mages 1 is buy the looks of it all around the other the one that got kicked out was focused on support and healing . then there is the other two that are both sword fighters one that likes tank like fighting the other likes speed . the problem is they where so set on one fighting patterin that they didnt see the problems in there formation until they started fighting stronger monsters and instead of tring to adapet and try a few differint things they just kick him out . now i dont know how magic works in this world like for example do you have a mana limit like in games like skyrim and recharge at a set speed or do you have no limmit have you are only limited buy your memory and time you need to cast spells . the bigest thing is if they dont have a mana limit it means just a few tests of his spells could have showed him that he can cast it on himself but he was so blinded buy his feeling for the group leader that he didnt try that but went with being a pack mule for the group. i bet if he did the casting on himself much of those attacks would have been easy to avoid . the funny thing is i dont think star dust can get there old friend until they sit down and talk about what happend that day . also talk about the other problems they had in the group befor kicking him out . seeing as the main character is showen to take on monsters that the new stardust has had problem with i dont think the MC and the dragon girl would have a problem with getting along
no it doesn't. EST isnt the main character, Atena isnt either. The scar dude and mage are both OP who hide their powers and become the real Main characters. Story is shit
We’re kicking you out because you’re the weakest member of the party and we don’t want you to die. Well now that he’s gone she is the weakest member of the party, but they are gonna support her and start over from the beginning. Really weird logic.
A lot of these problems could have been solved if they just sat down and "Talked!" But other than that I like this little twist. Instead of following the Banished character that becomes OP we're following the team that now has to work to get stronger.
Rather than this exile story but trash, i recommend you this one : The Strange Adventurer of broken mercenary The story : incredible The personality of mc and heroine : SHEEESH
Weird some comments are saying Est is being portrayed as the villain. All he had was 3 outbursts where he only insulted his former friends. Sure, he was confrontational at the guild, but that's just anger from mistreatment and misunderstandings that will assumedly be resolved as they reconcile later in the story. Est here is depicted as just as much a "villain" here as the shield hero, just scornful. The only difference is Est isn't the sole protagonist and the story isn't from his perspective alone.
author must have been on crack when he wrote this...he just wanted to find a sympathetic reason for why they got rid of the MC but couldn't be bothered to think up of a logical excuse for how this would help him.
If people would be honest and tell people why they wanted to kick him out maybe things would be different but they should have thought how he would feel being kicked out as well.
I like the concept that we get to see the side of the party who banished the main character, I say main character but I don't know who is the main character. The old man (the oldest in the group) be narrating most of the time, and then they make a boy seem like he's the villain like an asshole. I'm not going to lie he has the right to be kind of, they did kick him out so like and then he got powerful from that anger I guess. The authors should have done better good, idea just terrible execution.
Est ain't the villain but it's a big a*s miscommunication on the friends part
Not to better himself just for himself but Just to get back at the girl he thinks betrayed him she did betray their dream but she did it for him Not just for herself.
They honestly deserve worse.
.....did they not think he would just go out on his own.
exactly...
that's what I'm saying, and there always was the possibility that he could have a surge in power.
Wow what a crappy ending, thanks for the warning.
thanks bro, really thx
Thanks
Instead of them just having a "let's hold hands moment" the plot for them forgiving each other and becoming friends again should've been more like "even though the misunderstanding and everything was cleared up, Est was still a bit bitter and conflicted in his emotions on whether or not he should forgive Athena and everyone, and they all end up having a full on heart to heart that rekindled their friendship"
thank you for saving my time. I watched the break up and skipped to the reunion. Glad to see how it ends, not a good way lmao.
I love how things get turned around for Est, his friends betrayal made him strong, while their suffering made them humble, and now everything they wanted will become his. This is what happens when you keep the people you love in the dark.
Apparently, the ending is way off the mark then what we expect of Est just winning.
My biggest gripe is that they kicked the mc out because they couldn’t “wait” for him to get stronger but yet spending everything after “waiting” for the girl to get stronger
the thing that makes the mc revenge even better is the mc strenth is in magic and seeing as he was so focused on helping others putting his own needs and training his magic got stronger as a result of using it so much on other people but he didnt think of using it on himself because he was so focused on others.
in this one way the main guy and the leader of stardust where very much
alike but now with est being kicked out hes now lost that side of himself
and if that group ever wants to get him back if its ever posable they will have to have a serious talk about all the problems both before and after the break up
Is east even the MC?
🤦
@@Dis1Air He's not. It's the secretly OP swordsman
She measure temperature in Kelvin.
There was no betrayal. breaking a promise that you make as kids isn't betrayal. Est was a piece of emotionally abusive trash.
@@arcadius3257 This
@@ExodusCorehow did Est abuse her tho? Explain how you reached that conclusion?

Ikr, they invited a new person stronger than them , gives them same treatment yet they didn't see any coincidence
@@yl6128 Even if their presence actively put your life in danger?

Bruh you can be a good writer 👍 it's a compliment btw 🙂

"Miss Athena, do you remember that guy you just kicked out yesterday in order to protect him? Well... He tried to show that you were wrong about him and... he has been killed by a monster. Sorry."
Imagine this was a one shot, same plot, same characters, only Est dies eaten by monsters because he didn't have an awakening, Athena found out the worst way possible because she found his clothes in a Black Market, and decides to look for him, only to find out he died, she went back to her hometown, never to adventure again, Est's parents blame her for their son's death, because even if they don't know the details, they entrusted their son to her.
Congratz, you played yourself
@@robertsuarez8000 Nah not a one shot. I'd want a few chapters of just a focus on the team. Cut out everything related to Est. Not even the tropey drunk/cheating scene. They have their big group hug in chapter 15, I think they're on, and months have passed. Then when they're in the adventurer's guild to take a new quest something that triggers a flashback for a few pages to the first quest she did with Est and it brings a smile to her face. Then she hears some muttering about her guild to snap her back to reality and, "Oh yeah that Est guy? What a loser he died the day after Stardust kicked him out to some random goblins outside of the labyrinth. Good riddance he was just dead weight and they made the right choice to drop him." Her entire plan failed from the get go and while she's been absorbed in her own group/self-pity she didn't even know that her childhood friend passed. Then continue on with your ending. I like it.
Edit: Twist it even more, Daru knew the whole time and didn't tell Athena.
I want a fanfic if this, well different versions, one where he died and found out months later. The ratings were so bad author rushed the novel and I have not read it was tempted to. So it got axed.
Anyways, the other, fanfic I'd like to see where Est after he realizes the team cares about him and thus kick him out. Est softens a little but not forgiven. "You caused your quote in quote former friend great amount of mental harm, you failed to communicate the reasons and almost brought him to death alone in some dungeon and your probably wouldnt have known about it. You Darus failed to address the misunderstandings between you and Athena, you failed to protect him when it turns out how powerful the two of the members of you are. Why didn't you offer to train Est like you did Frey. None of you have apologized to him, you still think it's his fault. When he's angry at you all he's a villain but when you do it oho your all in the right. I can't believe you idiots walk among us. Especially you Darus, you're the adult here..." *Goes on to whatever else needs to be said* Oh and this is formed a crowd who overhears it too. I would love to see how Darus, Athena, and the Elf girl reacts to heavy truths of their incompetence.

I even know the ending and still it's not satisfying. There needed to be a proper reconciliation instead of this hap.Hazard garbage
What’s happening at the end?
Ending spoiler please.
Well if they didnt the entire party would be frickin dead

Man I will send death threats to Author if he made Est die because of his will to surpass Athena's party.
(Okay , sending death threats to Author was just a joke)
I will admit, if Est wins, it be your typical "kicked out of a party" story many writers been doing lately. I will admit it is unique seeing the perspective of the other team as a focus.
Apparently, this story is more of an old man ends up with a young harem story. The old guy ends up being the main character and gets all the women.
@@keenari0470 nah old man gets the useless baggage that's the old party MC meets up with two girls later on who actually want to support and understand him because they both know what being looked down on is like. What is the story called
this is a good story poorly executed. it has promise and is a break from the dime-a-dozen 'weak MC gets harshly kicked out of party then gets stupid OP and humiliates them later' trope but it doesn't really hit the mark anywhere important. if i were to have this remade i'd have had them suspend him from the party instead of kick him out that way he's still a member just not joining them on missions. that way he still get his character arc and we still get to see the party have to deal with him not being around and facing the new addition.
Facts
Agreed
they trying to make est villian he should have been the main character
I'm not going to lie this is a unique Twist on things even though it's a tale as old as time when it comes to Fantasy stories it's still unique because they didn't kick the character that eventually becomes overpowered out because he was a hindrance to them they kicked them out because they didn't want him to die💯😭😭😭😭

I should say it need more parts love this let's see how est regret it even he's strong
Is there a part 2 of this? Also if frey was indeed worried about est then why didn't she trained him or have a training partner to spar?
In the raid, kicking out your healer and supporter is worst mistake you can make.
When are you going to make a part two for this episode?
It always pains me when interesting idea is dropped for the sake of being as braindead as possible.
It was at THIS moment, she realized… she fucked up.
Ah yes Athena with the 'At' silent
Why does this story makes my blood boil?
Bro believe me you're not the only one
What did they expect when they decided to kick the support member? They was relying on him so much that they forgot that they are weaker without him
Party without support is like a soccer team without a goal keeper 💀
Spoilers: I read a bit further and I think Est is going to be made into the villain. Doru comes off as a good guy but I think he wanted Est out because Athena and the other girl reminded him of his old team. He’s not even tried to remedy the problem with that drunken night with Est nor has he told Athena about it. He may not be evil himself but he’s got a very hidden selfish personality underneath.
you are correct in the sense the author tries his hardest into gaslighting the readers into est being the bad guy
Bro why are ur recaps left with unknown titles
easy, so people keep watching him, and maybe to avoid copyright, but i guess the former one is the main reason

This would of been a good story if the old man wasn't the mc, personally i say est should be the mc. And it it would be funny if est got to the top realised the misunderstand and they made amends, however that just my opinion. But #1 problem in my book is that est is not the MC
Holy s*** this is some intense drama 😮
Horrible story good idea huh? The made Est seem like the bad guy while Daru is good. I mean YOU kicked him out without properly explaining to him, Daru seems generic and i guess the author will let Ethena and Daru be in a relationship. It is a waste not to have Est as the mc since the development of his char will be much better than whatever the author is cooking. I would love to read a story where Est slowly realize that they meant good for him and later on come back with them not some “Yeah Est now cokcy, Est bad, Daru protected Ethena, Ethena loves Daru” bullshit
nobody gonna talk how he said conquerors haki ??🤣
Story is about team becoming strong with team work then why even kicked out est in the first place?
EXACTLY!!! Est’s ability is literally the definition of teamwork and these guys kicked him out with no remorse, to be honest. Athena is now weak and experiencing the same issues as Est and it's ‘don’t worry guys. We’ll pull through as a team.’
They did Est extremely filthy.

No wonder why the story sucks @$$
true
Did est and that girl get back?ngl im lazy to read this after yall said, that the old man was the mc..poor est, autor made him look dirty

For what I read, I don’t necessarily hate this. There are Some thing that don’t make sense and I don’t think the author thought it through. I like how the villain is and this is one of those time where you want the villain to win. Athena’s action have consequences and the rest of the guild just didn’t care about est. it’s shown at the end when daru defends athena from est from insulting the team est and athena started. lol what’s funny is daru lecturing est about what kind person Athena is like est didn’t grow up with athena

ok i for one think there was a problem with the group right from the start.
for the rolls you have 2 mages 1 is buy the looks of it all around the other the one that got kicked out was focused on support and healing .
then there is the other two that are both sword fighters one that likes tank like fighting the other likes speed .
the problem is they where so set on one fighting patterin that they didnt see the problems in there formation until they started fighting stronger monsters and instead of tring to adapet and try a few differint things they just kick him out .
now i dont know how magic works in this world like for example do you have a mana limit
like in games like skyrim and recharge at a set speed or do you have no limmit have you are only limited buy your memory and time you need to cast spells .
the bigest thing is if they dont have a mana limit it means just a few tests
of his spells could have showed him that he can cast it on himself but he was so blinded buy his feeling for the group leader that he didnt try that but went with being a pack mule
for the group.
i bet if he did the casting on himself much of those attacks would have been easy to
avoid .
the funny thing is i dont think star dust can get there old friend until they sit down and talk about what happend that day .
also talk about the other problems they had in the group befor kicking him out .
seeing as the main character is showen to take on monsters that the new stardust has had problem with i dont think the MC and the dragon girl would have a problem with getting along
