- Watch this before you go down the Erie Canal with two kids. It's a beautiful journey to take in New York but there are a few challenges with going up and down so many locks. We share with you the beautiful stops along the way like a waterfall in Holley or a good eat in Spencerport. Filmed September 2023.

It's all so worth it but can be a challenge in the moment.
Beautiful area and video well put together. I have come to the conclusion that when you are Traveling Coral is still looking for Dolphins but checking out the scenery but when Orlando she us look for the first park or food place silly girl.

Another pleasant leg down the Erie, aside from a bad weather spell. Hills and creeks make for a pretty landscape, with forests and quaint architecture. Nice to hear how you've grown accustomed to the process, making improvements for comfort and ease. Perhaps our first word from Kai: "yeah" at 17:11.
The canal is really quite beautiful. We are grateful we have had the opportunity to do it again. I feel like the improvement and upgrades will be happening for a long long time. Good ear, Kai is quite the vocal little man.

I was stuck at the Genessee river crossing for two hours. The sent NY canal authoritie tug and it barely got my out. 7ft draft is a very stressful thing in the Erie canal.
Wow good thing they got you out. I would be stressed with a 7feet draft too. We were even worried with 5'6"
