    Thank you for the great video!
    My wife and I just purchased a cs 33 for our trip down south this winter. The cs 33 has very similiar numbers so it is great to see that it works for you and the cs 33 should work for us. We do not have a little human crawling on the floor so we would have even more floor space!!

      Congratulations on your purchase. We looked at a CS at one point and they seem very well built. Glad we could share some info with you. Fair winds and enjoy your upcoming adventures.

    Great video tour!!!! Wish it looked that uncluttered now as it did in the video.

      Those times were far and few. It helps when you remove all your personal belongings

      @@WildlyIntrepid I just got her in March so not much experience is sailing her- she’s getting a haul out August 11 for a bottom job, but I like the size below and use her as my condo on the water when I visit my daughter and grandson. I live quite a ways from the boat and when I sail her it will be river sailing with lots of jibes and tacks!

      @WildlyIntrepid  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well enjoy it it'll be nice to have somewhere to stay. And lots of tacking and jibing means lots of practice.

    When Hunter made the 1983 Hunter 34, they must have used some Time Lord magic. Mine looks twice as roomy, as that 33 footer. How did they do that?
    I like the choice of the Epever controller, even though I ended up with some Renogy controllers, that were on sale for $80 (20 Amp). I went with Eco-Worthy panels, also on sale: $275, for four 120 Watt panels. Eco-Worthy uses Herculite glass, that was developed to be blast resistant. I'm still going to reinforce those, too.
    I am headed to the Virgins, and eventually to the southern hemisphere, where Climate Change is only happening half as fast. Maybe, we'll meet in Tierra del Fuego---lol (no N targets, and few N power plants, south of the Equator, too).

    Wonderful tour. There are any number of round the world families who seem to think that 32 to 34 ft size is the best size. We have just moved up from 23ft to 29ft and are very happy with it. Our older children probably take up less space than a baby though and we are not live aboard.... though with the way the world is going...

      @WildlyIntrepid  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much. How old are your kids? We did notice that we had so much more space on our sailboat when we lived at a marina compared to liveabord in the Bahamas where we stock up for multiple months. The extra car seat doesn't help either though hahaha. But we also try to get out on land as much as possible to get Coral to roam freely.

      @@WildlyIntrepid Our boys are a late teen and an early 20s. They take less room than a baby because they do a lot of activities in one spot. They don't need room to play with toys or anything child specific. Their needs are adult needs and so for the most part, all they need is their own bed. Our design happens to have two quarter berths as well as the V-berth. The older boy enjoys just sitting in the dinghy when we are at anchor, either fishing or washing dishes. The younger prefers video games but both find beach walks and wildlife enjoyable too.

    • @WildlyIntrepid
      @WildlyIntrepid  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like a good layout with the two quarter berths. And it looks like they do take less space 😆. Although for us even as adults we have big toys like paddle board or surfboard.

      @@WildlyIntrepid Yeah, raw storage will be the thing that bumps us up size if we go that far. But the HS grad is already into the "I can't come Dad, I gotta work" thing. So we will soon maybe have a quarter berth as storage as he goes off to collage/university and beyond.

    • @WildlyIntrepid
      @WildlyIntrepid  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lenwhatever4187 Storage seems to always be the main thing. Our quarter berth as long been occupied by a bunch of things instead of a sleeping berth

    Great Video! I have a 1980 Hunter 33 and have been watching you cats and staying in touch for over a year now GREAT WORK! Question, what is the fuse for at the bottom left of your breaker panel? #mattdv

      @WildlyIntrepid  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Matt! Thanks for the support. Stoked to have you with us. We really love that boat. The fuse was for the automatic bilge float. Cheers
