    BURRIS is definitely the way to go if you want to most for your money. I am sold on Burris scopes. The forever warranty is no questions asked too. I've never had to use it, but they have it. Low light conditions is when you are most likely to spot your game, so it only makes sense to have a great low light, high light transmission scope and Burris is the king of low light, imo. Anytime you get a bunch of hunters together, line up everybody's scopes and do a legitimate side by side comparison of scopes in identical light conditions. Burris delivers and puts a lot of others to shame. I can't stand wasting money and paying for a name. When you buy a Burris, you can see every dollar you spent. Of course a 2k dollar Leopold is a great scope, but its 2k dollars! People who know, use Burris. Everybody is convinced their scope just has to be the best because of whatever reason. But line them up and compare apples to apples and when you look at the quality and features and performance you get, and Burris stands out. Nothing worse than not being able to see your target or your reticle when that golden moment comes. Exit pupil matters and glass coatings and the entire package matters and Burris has got it figured out. Never met an unhappy Burris owner, and most have several models and that is because they didn't waste money.

      I agree 100% I was a bushnell guy for a long time and would buy whatever cheap scope I could find cheap to fill a bare gun. But my hunting rifles all had bushnells. I discovered burris scopes looking side by side out of a hunting blind on a buddy's gun. My bushnell was completely black a good 30-40 mins before the burris. I was sold. I got my first one back in 2014ish when the droptines came out and were very affordable for that class of scope. I have used their warranty and it was exactly as they claimed no questions asked! And it was completely my fault! I bent the tube! Since then I've been hooked. I really like the fullfield e1. I like that the tube doesn't turn like the fullfield 2 and they have resettable turrets and they even offer custom turrets! I have shot a 1500 Leopold and then shot my 150 droptine back to back and in all honesty I prefer the droptine. And that's not me being partial because it's mine. Also their droptine (budget) binoculars are amazing! They are on sale for 110 bucks. And I have looked thru them side by side with $2000 swarovski binoculars and again I prefer the burris.

    If you’ve had your action and barrel out of the stock, did you notice the bedding plate attached to the stock and also the pillars on the screws? That may be the reason these guns shoot so well. I have to be careful when putting the action and barrel back to make sure the barrel is centered good in the stock while tightening the screws.
    I also have a Burris scope.

    If you’ve got a 42 mm objective bell then you need to use high weaver quad loc rings. I had to on my Steven’s 334.

      @learnerkang thank you I appreciate that! The base is what came with the stevens. The rings are weavers quad lock.

    That 42mm objective barely cleared the picatinny. I’m looking at the Burris Fullfield II which has a 50mm. In your opinion, do you think it would fit?

    • @Dartfreak75
      @Dartfreak75  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You would have to get some high or extra high rings for sure. I got medium and can't get the scope back far enough to my liking.
