I got a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor varminter the little smile you gave on watching a group I did the same thing to myself when I'm at the range set a 10 shot group that measures Point 425 I don't understand why other people won't buy this rifle they come back with inch and a half group I mean I know you spent about three hundred more dollars but it's so worth it every time I leave the range I think I'm Mark Wahlberg from shooter yeah that little smile you gave was all you need for the video thanks

With 130 grain for the gong at 300m like child's play. The 20 inch barrel likes the lighter bullets. It's a great rifle for sure!

Great video. I have the same rifle and scope and shoot the same ammo. Its my hunting rifle. Little on the heavy side but not too
bad. Most of my deer are shot at around 300 meters and pretty much drop on the spot. Cant beat a Tikka.

Excellent video. Does the CTR also take the 5 round Tikka magazines, like which are used in the Tikka Super Varmint rifle?

I have the Tac in .223 (absolute tack driver) and my next purchase is going to be the 6.5cm Tac I also have the Sako S20 Precision I handload and last day on the range doing a seating depth test I got a one hole group @100m Would like to see you review this Cuan

Hi Cuan! Love your vids! Great shooting! Just a question: Why are tikka’s so expensive in SA? Howa and remington sell for more or less the same as USA, but tikka rifles go for x2 or more then in USA? Tikka will completely take over the market if they were priced here like they are priced in US compared to remington & howa..

Great review! Id love to know the actual weight of these rifles. Every website i go on has a different weight noted on the ctr and the upr and i dont trust tikka's numbers either.

Hello. I planing buy a Tikka precision rifle to shoot at 600-800 meters. What is more accuracy for hunting ? Tikka tac a1 or Tikka CTR ? Thanks for the information

    • @Rangvald8909
      @Rangvald8909 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Both are going to be really accurate but the tac is a step up I’d say… kind of overkill for hunting. You’re better off getting a tac for precision shooting, and then getting a $200 savage axis for hunting.

I can tell you. My Tikka shoots 1/4 inch or under all day long. Can't go wrong with a TIKKA. Mine 6.5 Creedmoor and all the deer and hogs I've shot, go down like a lead balloon.

@@joelhunter984 so actually someone recommended I get a Ruger 10/22 takedown chambered in 22lr so I got the. It has a nice scope and custom walnut match shooters stock. I can hit tight groups all the way out to 200 yards! Cant wait to take it out to bag an elk next season

@@autodidacticartisan I am sure the ELK tremble at the thought of you prancing about with your 22LR. HA!......Funny.

@@joelhunter984 haha! All joking aside I think I'm going to my local dealer and getting prices for both guns to compare them side by side. I'm kinda leaning toward the tikka because of the lighter weight and lighter cost but i also feel like the ruger will absorb more recoil due to its higher weight which will make it more comfortable blowing through 100 rounds at a time at the range. Though it would be a bitch to lug that thing through the hills when it comes time to drop some game. Its a tough decision

I have a Savage 10 FCP-SR in 308 with a 24" barrel. I want to buy a T3X CTR in 20" to put in a KRG Bravo chassis. I'm going back and forth between 308 and 6.5cm. I don't know which one to get yet.

My g, I want to get this gun too and I have the same problem. I don't know what to get. The 308 or 6.5, can you explain the difference in the bullets?

Would love to hear comparison between the m18 vs tikka. Preferably Mauser M18 LR vs UPR 6,5crm. I know the Tikka beats the mauser on the aftermarket parts.

Just letting my fellow left handers out there know that it is more expensive for the left handed variant. I bought this rifle a few days ago, it was originally $2760 AUD and the LH ended up costing me $3060 AUD.

I just sold my RPR 308 to buy 1 of these, except in 6.5prc, putting it in a mdt hnt 26 chassis, next upgrade after that will be a Proof research 16.5, maybe 18" CF barrel.
