Thanks for the tips guys. 2021 was my first RAGBRAI. I went with a group, but I’m 2022 I’ll be on my own and using the standard RAGBRAI baggage service. I have relatively small, light gear from bikepackng. I think the messenger bag for the showers is a great idea. Also the head lamp to keep hands free. I didn’t have these. Yes on the fan, which I’m glad I did have, among many of the other things you mentioned.

I ride solo and use the free truck every year. Do my own thing...

Wow, if I can’t fit my equipment on my bike, then it doesn’t go to RAGBRAI. When the guy pulled out the trekking poles I was amazed.
