This is both beautiful and humbling. Reminds me of the time I learned my online buddy who was ALWAYS online gaming, was actually bed ridden. He was physically unable to move and could only game all day. On days where I felt lazy, he’d remind me “dude. You have the OPTION of going outside… this game will still be here when you come back. Please go outside and live for me.” And that’s exactly how our games would go. We’d play. Then after a bit he’s say “ok, times up. Go live our life please. I’ll be here when you get back.”
Why was he bed ridden, did you ever ask ?
I hope his health got better as time went on

As a accessibility consulted myself, I am a visually impaired gamer, but I would just like to say I loved watching these stories. I do have a access controller on pre-order, and will be reviewing it myself. I am also looking to get into consulting with developers with gaming and consul, so feel free to reach out.😊

Something that is easily taken for granted is not being disabled. I love playing video games and it doesn't cross your mind on what other may not be able to do without help. I am incredibly proud of Sony coming out with a product like this so that others can enjoy these games as well.

Did anyone else think the controller was way bigger before seeing this? For some reason, based on the all the other marketing for this, I always thought it was like this giant 2ft-wide disk
Wish there was a steering wheel with with usable pedals / hand controls for paraplegics that can’t use foot pedals

That's genuinely a nice thing to have, this is what accessibility should be in games, but not like an unpunishable easy mode like games have become nowadays outside of souls-like

I need this in my life. I could always just use an arcade fight stick on my PS3. I have Cerebral Palsy and I look forward to trying this out hopefully soon.

Can somebody recommend an external joystick/thumbstick to install on this controller. I am trying to figure out a way to play COD, but its not possible with only 1 stick.

So far all of the users of this controller were able to use their hands even in a limited capacity. Unfortunately because of MS I am unable to move my hands legs basically up to my shoulder. What are the add-ons that I can use?

my son has only right arm and hand to use and he cant figure how to use this and idk how to help him cause idk anything about playsyation games and theres really no directions. He spent his own money on this. The second controller he's spent his money on and still cant use. 😢

Being disabled doesn't mean not being able to have or earn money. These things are not done for charity. The world works like this and so do the companies. It costs what it costs and you can't expect a normal company to spend billions making this for later not earning nothing. These people are already more than gratefull for finally having something like this which makes them able to play games, and so would i if i were them
They’re in the business of making money.
Emotions is not business nor politics.

Lots of people were born with disabilities but I can play with a PS5 controller if I had a Xbox I could play with an Xbox controller Etc I found a way it's not hard to play fighting games shooting games Etc certain people want to play certain ways I will not be picking up this accessibility controller I enjoy my PS5 controller
Yeah nah. You cant have emotional music and expect everyone that needs an accessibility controller and love this.
Modularity is needed and this controller is lacking that. And man it needs a plug for a touchpad and motion controls
