We are from the bay area so we know most of the places you go camping and fishing at. You are an amazing chef and each meal you create makes us crave it! Jeremy, I have a friend that was diagnosed at right about your age. Did all of the treatment, fully recovered. Did international travel as an English instructor learning a very hard language, and he now has a dream job with the government using that skill. Make plans for the future! Execute those plans that you can do right now. You'll have a difficult time, but it will pass. Focusing on what is next will be a priority for a while. Figure out your goals in life and use the time that can't be used for anything else to work on those goals. You are young and you will make it through this. Have faith.

Kenn Fujioka that’s so good too..i also put them in olive oil and lemon juice and let them marinate for a while and they are so good
I do the simple way. Smash some fresh turmeric, add 2 spoons of water, and salt. MIx & marinate the anchovies for 10 to 15 minutes and deep fried it! It will help to get rid of the fishiness! Or squish a lime/lemon right before you cook it to add extra freshness. I did the same way to small mac too like Aji & sardine

For Jeremy: Good Luck Pal! My mom beat leukemia and she was in her mid 60s. I had cancer 10 years ago and what got me through was seeing all those old ladies going through treatment and being tough. So if you start feeling like the treatment is worse than the alternative (I did a little with some chemo and a whole lot of radiation) just remember there are folks older and weaker than you going through it and making it. You'll be strong and you'll do well. Get better to meet Taku. The hell with fishing, meet Jocelyn. She's muy hot! You beat this and your mom will let you have a beer with her.

Anchovies and squid - sustainable, low in heavy metals, and some of the most flavorful fish period. I went to portugal and ate fried anchovies everywhere. Can you try to catch some santa cruz squid and do a catch and cook? I don't even know if that is possible, but I would love it.
