2006, I believe. I'm not even sure where they shot the videos for this album...I've been to their main campus probably 2-3 times over the years when I've visited Texas, but the current building (unless they've moved to another) was only opened in the past 4-6 years.
Wrong,Fount of every blessing refers to the fountain of blood shed by Jesus on Calvary for the sin of the world. There is no other name by which we can be saved given to man except Jesus. Mweya wakachena is the Holy Spirit...Blessings
This mutilation is what happens when modern artists who don't have a basic grasp of English attempt to "improve" a magnificent hymn written by a true poet. The pronouns, "Thou" and "Thy", as used by Robinson follow that as used in the Bible, that is, they are singular, while "you" and "your" are plural. Hence the added lyrics: "Hear Your bride, to You we sing, come, Thou Fount of our blessing" are not only grammatically incorrect, they are confusing and present God the Father, who is being addressed, as a plurality. If you must create sensual, carnal and worldly "worship" music, could you please do so without defiling our beloved hymns?
@@abankse83 Looks like you completely ignored the essence of my comment. These hymns are the hymns of the church, gifted and entrusted to us by godly men and women to help us glorify God and edify the body. If as a Christian you don't feel any personal ownership of the psalms and hymns that God has given to us, there is something wrong in your religion. As citizens of a nation we are affronted when people deface our flag, so the saints are affronted at this corruption, perversion and mutilation of our hymns.
Beautiful rendition of what I think should be the Christian National Anthem. Hard to stay dry eyed watching this. God bless these people.

In shona its knownw as Uya mweya wakachena

+SuperHadasa we sing this very song as a hymn from my church united methodist. as "uya mweya wakachena"
One God, same Holy Spirit, different words all good sister..Blessings..
I like the original hymn better. The man who wrote it was depressed. He wrote the song looking for the Holy Spirit to come to him.
The only difference between the hymn and this was the new verse & added chorus (& maybe the key). Aside from the instrumentation, it's the same
cringe
