  • Have you ever heard of a verb tense called more-than-perfect past tense (pretérito mais-que-perfeito)? Don’t be alarmed by the name of this verb tense because it’s very easy to use and easy to conjugate. This tense is equivalent to the past perfect in English and just like in English, it’s a very common tense you need to know.
