    That is an excellent tip for getting the back of the nose flat. Will definitely do that on my next gnome, they are addictive , once you make one then put the nose on it suddenly takes on it's own personality. Great video , thank you for sharing your ideas.

    Hi...I just found your tutorial on gnome making, they are adorable!! Where did you find the base, I've searched for tomato cages and none of them look like yours. The ones I found are the kind u use in the garden.

      The triangle gnome base was the base to a Dollar Tree Christmas tree. I took all the garland off to get the plastic base. I know in this video I forgot to mention where I got the base but if you go back very early on my TH-cam, you’ll see the same shape gnomes and I include detailed information information and show the original tree that was purchased.
