What a voice. What a talent. What a kind man to boot!!! Douglas Sills is the total package. So happy to see him back on the Great White Way. Thank you very much for posting this.

It's wonderful to hear Douglas Sills giving this great show-opener the big voiced Broadway treatment. I remember in the original production that there was a terrific film collage during the orchestral interlude that was very effective. I hope that ALL of the numbers from this production get posted. Fine sound and well filmed!

What a talent! We've seen too little of him on Broadway, although tickets are now on sale for War Paint. Thank you, AS, for posting.

So glad you enjoyed, and I agree: Sills should have done more Broadway than he has. I'm still unhappy that he never got to do "Kiss Me, Kate" on Broadway, even though he recently did it regionally.

I would love to have seen him as Horace to Bette midler's dolly. He was wonderful in pimpernel, but even he and hunter foster couldn't save little shop, which only works with the incomparable Ellen Greene.

Oh please. Many women are talented enough to play Audrey. Every replacement in the original production was her equal and Faith Prince was actually better. You are insulting a lot ot talented women with all the hyperbole and this attitude is KILLING the industry. Just stop.
