This is one of the best collaborations between two contemporary blues artists in existence. Beth pours her soul out with every syllable and Joe, like his idol, Stevie Ray Vaughn, speaks to us through his ax.
They both are so talented Joe is the one guitarist that I actually get excited to see not since Stevie Ray Vaughn that has happened, he can play anything he chooses and has a great singing voice to go with it. Slow Gin is a great song to give a listen to.
She's amazing on her own. He's a master prodigy. But together.....I can't help but believe...they belong together. Together they are a force which is undeniably superior.
Such a talented pair !! Her voice is so so good and his playing is so passionate. They're both passionate. I love everything they've done so far. Powerful vocals
I’ve seen Joe a few times live and he is truly powerful in stage! Always puts together a stellar band. May check out Tedeschi Trucks band for another great guitarist Derrick Trucks!
I saw him at Radio City Music Hall in 2015 and it was absolutely epic. First half of the show was acoustic, second half was electric. And I mean electric!
Effortless and very intimate. Always in a blues mood. Thank you for sharing it. I know I’m just one person.. so I don’t know what this will mean to you. But I like when you just feel it. Say what you wanna say- when you want to say it! You show massive respect for the artist by rewinding a bit so we keep feeling their flow. You’re the only reactor I always watch. You don’t need to change yourself because of the uptight keyboard warriors.. we subscribed because you’re one of a kind. We’re on this ride with you, and a lot of us a sticking with ya no matter what.
Absolutely one of my favorite songs. Love this all the way around. My favorite thing about Joe is introducing him to new people via videos. They'll see a guy looking like he's fresh out of a Microsoft board meeting, then, he plays.......jaws drop.
I never get tired of listening to them-together or solo. For a jaw dropping performance watch Joe Bonamassa on acoustic guitar with Tina Guo on cello in a musical duel: Woke Up Dreaming.
Loving this blues theme tonight, Michael. You picked a couple hellacious good ones. As far as "how"...you react the way you want/need to react. I enjoy it all, and it's YOUR channel, after all :)
Thank you for your reaction and post video comment. Joe grew up an hour an a half from me. I am a huge Stevie Ray Vaughn fan. When I discovered Joe Bonamassa existed, after the Lord called Stevie home, I’ve been a big fan ever since. Stevie was one of Joe’s biggest influences and Joe has carried the torch for this rock/blues genre ever since. Blues is my favorite genre.
Thanks again Drama. An open mind and heart finds you a world/universe class guitar player that blends perfectly with Beth's voice. Joe also has some smooooth pipes ! I appreciate you Brother....
You this song was originally done by Bobby Blue Bland the famous blues singer! I like them both! They are just both great singers! I love good singing and music! 😁🤗
I really like Joe and have seen him live. I now want to see them together. Joe's energy is raised to another level when Beth is on stage with him. Wow!
They are amazing with each of them when she is with her group with out Joe, she has a tendency to get crazy, but her voice is perfect. Keep them coming.
You should react to ANY Beth Hart or Joe Bonamassa video you can find. Joe is widely recognized as being a guitar savant -- having started playing when he was only FOUR YEARS OLD! He began performing at 12, opening for BB King. And Beth's voice is just amazing.
The less is more style that Joe adopts in this song only seems to accentuate Beth's vocals! Butter and toast indeed! Very succinct review and thanks for it!!
You need more views, your reaction to music is pure and unfiltered. I like how you get lost in the moment and let it sink in. I saw a lot more 'reaction videos' but yours is one of the better ones. Showing pure emotions as you interpret the song. This song also is one of my favorites so I can compare my own reaction to yours and its a lot alike. Thanks man!
It's just beautiful music. Either or both. Beautiful. You might want to dig up some old music by Peter Brown with the original Fleetwood Mac. From when they were a blues band. Or some Al Cooper from Blood Sweat and Tears from when they were good and not a pop band. Their first two or three albums have some fantastic stuff on them. Beth does a cover of one of the songs exceptionally well (no surprise there)! Thank you for sharing!!!
I've been following Beth since Star Search and Joe for about 15 years. Both are not of this world but it's the best for the blues that they were gifted too us.
This past summer Joe Bonamassa on the Keep The Blues Alive Cruise played with other musicians Eric Gales,Peter Frampton, and also Larkin Poe. and others in one performance Joe played with 2 of the current top blues guitarists.
It seems many people wonder why they had not heard of Joe before. There is a reason for this. At the beginning of his career, he knew going with a record label would not allow him to pursue the blues and whatever else drove him. His manager set up a company outside the industry, I believe with three (Joe, manager, and producer) - they did it on their own - no corporate distribution or publicity. It has been a longer, slower road but pure as it gets. No one is pushing him to make decisions for sales.

I just like you doing you and what your comfortable with. I figure they aren't doing anything in life so they just have to tell everyone else how things should or shouldn't be done.
Brother, remember when Brady, on the final drive of Super bowl 51 dropped that first pass in Danny Playoff Amendola's bucket on the right sideline? Scott Zolak said "That's sick. Disgustingly sick.' That's what these two are together.
Whew, this one is every bit the "heavy hitter" it's supposed to be. Just my opinion, but I think a lot of people let her personal life "struggles" cloud their outlook of just how badass this gorgeous woman is. I've always dug her "Stevie Nicks" quick vibrato...(lol, my daughter says she sounds like a goat doin that...BLASPHEMY my child!!!)
So glad you have discovered the magnificent Beth Hart, yeah isn't it incredible she is not more famous but then again I kind of like it that she is not.I'm not even sure whether Beth would like it either actually, she'd have to do too much press and everything probably.
My opinion and observation only...it feels like you put your "spark" in a box and put it up on the shelf in not reacting to the music naturally as you see fit. I, for one, miss the other way you were reacting. Music is MOVING. I tune into reaction channels to hear the reactors thoughts, feelings, etc. on particular artists. If I feel like hearing a whole song uninterrupted then I can quite easily look it up and watch it. There are of course some standards I prefer, such as never interrupting a guitar solo or vocal run for example. I don't tend to mind interruptions as long as they are "intelligent" and not just goofy drivel some reactors do. Your commentary is welcome in my book. As I said, your spark and enthusiasm seem to have dulled and I read a touch of resentment for having to hold back trying to please some of the critics. Still enjoy your channel and music choices...just some of my thoughts. Do YOU!
Jesus is Lord! Believe in Him to be saved! We are all sinners in need of a savior. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! We have all lied, stolen, blasphemed, lusted, fornicated or in some way shape or form broken God's law! There is good news though! We broke God's law, but Jesus payed our fine in his life's blood for us that we might be saved. All you have to do to be saved is humble yourself, admit you are a sinner and need God's mercy, and believe in Jesus that he died on the cross for you and rose again on the third day! For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. I love you all and God bless you!
This is one of the best collaborations between two contemporary blues artists in existence. Beth pours her soul out with every syllable and Joe, like his idol, Stevie Ray Vaughn, speaks to us through his ax.
I wouldn't change a word you just said.

I have heard this song maybe 10 times now...wow, it gets better and better each time
Effortless and very intimate. Always in a blues mood. Thank you for sharing it.

Also love Her and Joe on "I'd Rather Go Blind" live in Amsterdam an Etta James Cover. ]:P
I only discovered Beth Hart this year, and man she is incredible. You are right these two go so well together!
Every time I hear this song I get some kind of chills all through my spine.
Joe is cool enough to spit ice cubes and Beth just sets the whole room on fire. ✌️💜💚💛⚜️
That growl bin her voice is the perfect match for that guitar. 59 standered baby.
Absolutely one of my favorite songs. Love this all the way around. My favorite thing about Joe is introducing him to new people via videos. They'll see a guy looking like he's fresh out of a Microsoft board meeting, then, he plays.......jaws drop.
That is baby making music! They have amazing chemistry. Great choices tonight and do it your way, you are on point either way.
Both are masters of their craft. This is a divine collaboration.
I never get tired of listening to them-together or solo.

Separately FIRE... Together FIRE.. its a win either way :)
Love this ! Two brilliant performers.
"That was disgusting.....erm....Wow"
Summed it up perfectly! 👏👏😂
Love your analysis...hits smack in the middle of the bullseye
Special chemistry between these two legends. This was epic. I mean really special. Joe B is a GOAT. Great reaction, brother.
Thanks again Drama. An open mind and heart finds you a world/universe class guitar player that blends perfectly with Beth's voice. Joe also has some smooooth pipes ! I appreciate you Brother....

What a performance. Both of them are so talented.
No flash no dash just one word MAGIC
I feel that one in my soul
Wow.they are great.

Sooooo damn dope. Joe is the man. Beth is fire.
You gotta try Slow Gin, by Bonamassa. That is the straight jam!
It's just beautiful music. Either or both. Beautiful.

Great reaction ! I totally agree !
Just be you is exactly what I was going to say. but you said it. So I agree. Let the haters take no joy from you.
Great performance by two very talented people! Love your reactions!
2 people born out of time
sO GOOD.
LMAO @ 5:56 "That was disgusting." Exactly.
I've been following Beth since Star Search and Joe for about 15 years. Both are not of this world but it's the best for the blues that they were gifted too us.
If heartaches were nickels is an awesome song by Joe
Check out Joe Bonamassa doing "Mountain Time" live at Royal Albert Hall in 2009!
Charlie Blevins I love the version from the Beacon Theater!
Try Beth and Joe doing I'd rather go blind, live at Amsterdam, it's epic!
This past summer Joe Bonamassa on the Keep The Blues Alive Cruise played with other musicians Eric Gales,Peter Frampton, and also Larkin Poe. and others in one performance Joe played with 2 of the current top blues guitarists.
They are both AMAZING artist together and seperate.
Amen!

That's pretty much the road I'm taking, I just had an even longer road with lack of support for years
Much more Joe to come.....
Check out Bonamasa in the band, Black Country Communion with Glenn Hughes-another great high voiced soul/rock singer with John Bonham's son on dums!
Beth Hart ❤❤❤

If Joe B. Started encircling me with the blues, I would start swaying and sing like a bird like Beth. That’s the blues, it’s in your soul or it’s not.
Well said .....
I just like you doing you and what your comfortable with. I figure they aren't doing anything in life so they just have to tell everyone else how things should or shouldn't be done.
You ever listen to Alabama Shakes "I don't want to fight"?
Joe making that Gibson scream
have you not seen them do I Rather Be Blind yet????
Brother, remember when Brady, on the final drive of Super bowl 51 dropped that first pass in Danny Playoff Amendola's bucket on the right sideline? Scott Zolak said "That's sick. Disgustingly sick.' That's what these two are together.
You need to see Joe bonamassa at the royal Albert hall doing I got to get paid and at red rock doing sloe gin. Both amazing
This might sound weird, but she reminds me so much of a rock and roll version of Celine Dion, the way she hits those runs.
You want to hear a girl wail? find Joe Bonamassa's "RIDIN' WITH THE KINGS"
This is a James Bond Title song, if I've ever heard one.
Try
Joe Bonamassa Official - "Sloe Gin" - Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks
Whew, this one is every bit the "heavy hitter" it's supposed to be. We watch your reaction channel to get your opinion of a performance good or bad not just watch a video of someone watching a video
One thumb down? That's the next great moron! Nice reaction!
Check out Luther Allison, Johnny Lang, & a under rated guitar great (Melven Taylor.)
Great reviews, thanks
