- This week, we will take a look at some of the trains running in the greater Salt Lake City area! In this video, you will see A very late running California Zephyr as it heads east with a brand new Amtrak electric locomotive being delivered to the east coast. You will also see a bunch of FrontRunner commuter trains, UTA light rail trolleys and Union Pacific freight trains. At the end, we will make a brief stop at the Golden Spike National Historic Monument. So come along for the trip, all aboard!

This video is amazing. I'm from NJ and I'm glad seeing the Comet I commuter cars that used to operate in my area are still in service with a new owner. I'm also amazed at how you got the California Zephyr on video being led by the UP engine with an ACS-64 heading east for delivery in the same consist.

Wow! The Frontrunner and UTA in The Red White and Blue Paint reminds me of The Amtrak Phase III Paint during the 1990's and Also American Airlines! And Also The Union Pacific 119 and Central Pacific Jupiter are the most beautiful 4-4-0 Steam Locomotives ever built.

I've only been on Amtrak once - on the Capital Corridor from Fremont to San Jose a little while back. The train cars were really nice. Although I'm really looking forward to taking the Coast Starlight from Portland to Seattle in September. I'm gonna have me a nice dinner and everything.

Front Runner seems so much like GO to me. Same car style, Canadian E-bells, MP36PH-3c, and those weird low doors. I find it interesting to think that this is where 010 and 011 would have ended up if they didn't end up on the MBTA.

California Rail Productions Yes, Go uses MP40s, not MP36s.
GO Transit actually doesn't use Canadian E-Bells, they use American ones.
