I was 15, when I went to the 1985 Royal Tournament. I was seriously impressed by the 3 drum horses, Coriolanus, of the Life Guards, Dettingen, of the Queen's own Hussars and Belisarius, of the Blues and Royals, and also by the Senior Drum- Major, W02 Richard Hulse, of the Grenadier Guards.
I was a very proud 18 year old Sailor at this show. I spent 3 weeks in the Kensington Copthorne Hotel and enjoyed every minute of the work there. ...
