I put a 190 Daytona motor into a standard Cub 3 years ago. It was built as a sleeper and apart from the huge carb sticking out of the side of the leg shields, the standard exhaust which was taken apart and made straight through and a large oil cooler, it looked absolutely standard. It was mental. It would lift the wheel in fourth gear. I didn’t have it for long and sold it because I would have killed myself. Well done these guys. I would have liked to have seen the engine part which is presumably around somewhere. I had to put a carb spinner (had to make my own) to twist the carb to clear the frame. There was a lot of thought had to go in to just putting the engine in place and lots of work on the exhaust. Unfortunately, mine did not have the decompression cam and it was picked to start. Mine was one of the early motors. I understand the later ones are much better although to be honest, electric start would have made it usable.

@@401build OMG. That is unfreakin' real. WOW. They got those Honda trail 70 bikes with 190s in them doing 70. My personal top speed on my 1980 Honda CX500 is only 80. Did you also change the sprocket ratio?
@@401build OK. Thanks.. I just redid a Pagsta mini chopper moped. 50cc. It has 14t front and I think it's 44t rear. I just picked up a 16t for it and maybe later I'll add a smaller rear gear. I was curious how small your rear sprocket was. Now I know. I'll be posting a video of it sometime
I'd say why not. It's a cheap and easy mod to do, plus it looks visually cool and fill the void on the space that was previously occupied by the air filter box.

Oil cooler is needed for the 190cc motor? Looking forward to the next video. I've turned into a old man waiting on Rolling Wrenches cub build...lol
You can run the engine without it, the engine is air cooled but for 100% safety we run oil cooler and thanks for the support🤟🏽

Oil cooler is very important for engines after 125cc and also gives it that sick look 🔥🏍💨
It prolongs the service life of the engine oil. You should look at the Suzi Fx125 for build inspirations. Nice work, by the way.
