    We have bunkers for the rich here in Montana as well as in the state of Washington - most adjacent to their mansion. It's fairly common really. Back when I was working in the trades about 10 years ago, when we would build a small, temporary road through the woods/mountains to the location of the bunker/cabin unless it was part of a mansion. The amount of permitting required was staggering. Heavy/bulk materials are often flown in by helo. We would sign NDA's and couldn't discuss the project, location, etc. A lot of them are cool people just concerned about the world around them but they live in bubbles, don't contribute anything to the local economy, and actually make things worse for us locals who don't have billions of dollars because they raise local housing prices, fight to close off public land, and go out of their way to muck things up.

      In my state they found ways around permits and paperwork and recently we've seen many bunkers being built. How they got around having to get a permit was they went through native American tribes who are considered sovereign Nations one particular tribe has allowed several billionaires to build bunkers on land controlled by them for a one-time payment. This tribe also bought several thousand acres of land recently to create an import-export business because they do not have to pay taxes on it. I only know this because I trained their security for them for 15 years. I've been under a nondisclosure agreement for most of that time.

      The thing is that these rich assholes don’t think about, is the fact that it takes what they consider minions, to refuel the generators, restock the food. Empty the septic systems, change filters etc.
      I don’t think many have considered that they won’t have those minions working for their every needs after a while. Money would be worthless. Those people would be conscious of their own families.
      If the “payment” system ended up being that the minions family could stay and live in exchange for services, what would stop these people from not just taking out the “employer” and keeping their stuff. Money can buy you everything, especially in the world of corruption we live in. Money however is only good during a functioning economy.
      If nothing untoward did actually happen to their employers, at the least, those homes may just end up being fancy looking coffins for the very people that built them, but have no idea how to sustain them.

      I believe the Bunkers are there, you just have to find where all the underground dirt went, because hundreds of thousands of Meters of dirt has to go somewhere & for that to happen they would have had to hire local trucks to get rid of it & while they didn't see where the dirt came from probably, they would know something is up for that much dirt to have to be removed. The dirt would have been rubbish that won't grow anything useful , not even lawn. I think that would have been a good avenue to investigate.

    I’ve done a lot of research on ideal “apocalypse” locations. The problem with New Zealand is that it’s highly likely that in the next 50-100 years it will be subject to either a catastrophic mega thrust earthquake, or at least a catastrophic strike-slip earthquake, given its location between two subduction zones, along the strike-slip Alpine Fault, or a catastrophic volcanic eruption from any number of active calderas and stratovolcanoes on the North Island. Auckland is literally built in the midst of a dormant basaltic volcanic field, and the city even has published plans of what it would need to do if such volcanoes erupted through the urban fabric. Coastal New Zealand is also at risk of Tsunami deluge from earthquakes anywhere around the Pacific Ring of Fire. The North Island is subject to all of these potential catastrophes, while the South Island no longer has active volcanoes, but is subject to more dangerous earthquakes and tsunamis. You’d think billionaires would take the time to learn a little geology before building an apocalypse bunker…
    Edit: I will say the relative low population, remoteness, and natural beauty of New Zealand is hard to beat, though.

    • @Slyjoe
      @Slyjoe ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What would be the ideal apocalypse location? From what i've read on the internet New Zealand is the safest place in case of a nuclear war or a pole shift with catastrophic events that follow. If everything you mentioned is true and on top of that New Zealand still is the safest place than we are fucked.

    • @AvanaVana
      @AvanaVana ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Slyjoe IMO it would be Australia, away from major cities. Australia has no nuclear power plants or weapons, and it’s good for all the reasons New Zealand is except that it’s not tectonically active, so no catastrophic earthquakes, and it has only dormant, tiny, volcanoes near the coast of SE Australia ( ictoria), and some effusive, recent volcanoes considered extinct in the Atherton tablelands in the far NE of Queensland, all of which are relatively very tame and unlikely to erupt at all, compared to the numerous, highly active, lahar-, ash- and pyroclastic flow-producing explosive (Plinian and Ultra-Plinian) stratovolcanoes and supervolcanoes of New Zealand. Humans survived extremely well in the outback (and all over Australia) for tens of thousand of years before it was colonized. Even today it has one of the lowest population densities in the world, high quality of air (except for temporary dust storms), the largest artesian basin (aquifer system) in the world, ample opportunity for solar and wind power generation, etc. So that is my take on it. New Zealand is wonderful, but the whole place is just waiting for a massive natural disaster, or two or three in the next 50 years.

      If the power grid was to go down for a long time due to natural disaster or other means, life would be very different to what you're living now. No power means no money besides whatever cash you have on you. But no business would be able to operate because they aren't equipped to carry out transactions without cash registers. Backup generators might work until the fuel runs out. Petrol stations can't pump without power. No more traffic lights, phones, no more GPS. No more internet. Water and gas are all controlled using electronic software. Produce farms require irrigation controlled with electronic timers. Canned food disappears from shelves in the hours and days following the lights going out. Once people have eaten all the food they can get their hands on and cannot get more, within a few days they'll turn to theft or they'll eat their pets. Those who have stored food will do what they need to do to protect it. Those who already commit crimes will have no issue continuing to do so in order to survive, and everybody in the middle will have to choose between their moral compass and their instinct to survive and protect their families. The apocalypse survival people seem crazy until your town has a monster storm, at which point a cupboard filled with tinned food doesn't sound crazy at all

Some vegetables finish in six weeks; it'll take a little longer to ramp up a supply that can keep you fully fed but assuming around 6 months of stockpiled supplies that's more than enough time to get steady production going with your neighbours. Anyone that lives in any area relying on the power grid would be in a world of hurt if the grid went down. Actually, New Zealand is only a good distance from most people, it is no distance at all from the 'worst' people.
    Besides, being trapped underground in a bunker, potentially forever, with the same rooms, same people, same long life food, same stuff, nowhere to go, no one new to meet - that's hell.
    People were going nuts during lockdown - and yet they 'still' had freedom to look out of and open their windows, sing from balconies, use their gardens if they had one, to go shopping, take exercise in a park if they lived in cities, take exercise in the countryside if they lived in rural areas, get medical help.
    Now, you imagine being locked down so you couldn't ever open your front door ever again. The authorities paint over your windows so you were without a view.
    That's what life would be like if you used your bunker to escape climate collapse, because that's not something that will right itself in a few months. It will take thousands of years to recover from what we've done.
    In the case of nuclear war. Yes, after an initial blast, it takes about 2 days for radiation levels in the immediate area to reduce to acceptable levels. But while you were hiding underground - did anyone bomb any nuclear power plants? Don't know. Are these plants now leaking radiation without anyone left alive to stop them? Don't know.
    More to the point - are those perpetrators who triggered the nuclear war now emerged from their bunkers, leaving the ruins of their own country behind, and on their way to your nice little country with rockets and arms enough to throw aside the entire population?
    These rich folks think they can 'escape' catastrophe in bunkers. But can they live long under such conditions after the lifestyles they are used to living?
    Highly unlikely.
    Convicts in solitary for too long go peculiar. Kids who never leave their rooms and play on computers 24/7 go peculiar. People who barricade themselves indoors over an exaggerated fear of germs 'are' peculiar.
    Can you imagine what a spoiled, trophy wife and a couple of kids used to having everything they want are going to be like after a few months in solitary? Nightmare.

Protest was started by government. We have a shadow government of 5 foreigners above the 2 party system. Many of our 'champions of truth' right now are actually implanted with their own agendas and personal ambitions. I've confirmed alot of this personally with these people! I've been involved in many fringes purely by chance and possibly my bloodline. My immediate whanau helped start government. New Zealand Company into government. Filled with masons. Till my grandmother. I'm in the process of exposing alot of things that will drop the rose colored lenses off the general public. Mainstream should get involved. The only solution or way of doing things that has ever worked however, is a capitalist system controlled by market forces. The problem is when government bails out these corps that are gouging the working class. We need to let them fail. Regarding the last estate and the garages, I don't think it's that unheard of for wealthy people to be into nice cars and own a decent number of them if that's what they are into. I doubt that is a bunker disguised as a garage, if they were going to build a bunker it would definitely be underground and out of sight, the whole goal of a bunker is to be strong well fortified, not just to cover it up with a little dirt and disguise it as a fake hill.. And you heard that construction worker, he described a similar layout with the garages and the dirt covering it on top, that property still had as he said a large basement with all of the amenities deep under the main house. It's likely deep under that house too...

If the rich outsiders maintain their aloofness, they will be seen as the "other" and won't stand much chance of long term survival. If the tycoons are so smart, they would support the community and become a part of it. Instead, they think they are better than everyone else and that makes them instant enemies of a lot of people. HIGHLY AGREED! After I retired from the Marine Corps, I did a bit of 'security services', and found that there is a direct relationship between wealth and secrecy. You have $20 to your name, you don't tell people where your beer or drug stash is. You have $20,000,000, and you don't tell your wife about your mistress, your kids that they aren't yours, your lawyer about your crimes, your broker about all of your accounts, or any of your family about your 'other house'. The only reason 'normal people' find out about 1/10th of it, is because when they reach asset value of $1-billion or more, they can't remember (or keep straight) all their lies, to the point that they drop clues or admit little truths...and if you listen carefully, and note what you heard, you figure out some of what 'is hidden' in the middle.

    It absolutely makes my blood boil that that Thiel guy just called up the NZ government, threw them a stack of cash and then in the blink of an eye got citizenship, no questions asked. I moved to Christchurch in March 2013 to help out with the post-earthquake rebuild, and finally was awarded my Kiwi citizenship in October 2021 after going through the 'work to residency' visa route, which I personally think is a very fair system. Given Thiel's wealth and status, I think it would have been far more appropriate to fast-track him to permanent residency, and from there he should have had to live in New Zealand for the prescribed 3 years just like every other flesh-and-blood human being. (It's called 'presence in New Zealand' on the NZ government's immigration information site).
    There is a reason for this; obtaining citizenship is not something material, it is symbolic of a true desire to live and breathe Kiwi values and be part of the great nation of Aotearoa. It is surely not a gimmick that should be simply doled out to the highest bidder, no matter who that person may be.

    My brother tiled an underground mansion on a NZ small island for a super rich family a few years ago, the workers were not allowed to stay on the island and all stayed on a large boat that came to Auckland to collect them and moored just off the island for them to live on for a month at a time. The complex was so big that it had tunnels you could drive thru to go to other parts like the dock where they unloaded the building materials

      They are preparing for a World War 3 with total destruction of the planet and they are the only ones left to survive and the people and goverment are protecting those people who do that.. They destroy the planet, Run like cowards into their bunkers and they get away with it because New Sealand sells their own land and only cares about money and the people have to suffer such a war they start. The devil gets presents for behaving like the devil. Gates told to an interview there are to many people on this planet. well the solution has been made.. Nuclear War with China , Russia. Those are orchastrated I think because they hide as well. Those 1 percent are beasts and don't be honest with them. Social behaviour with them dont work.. Please dont be fair while they play dirty.. Do the same as they do. prevent them from hiding so they get the same punishment from God as we do. Maybe that is what that devil Schwab is meaning by "The great Reset" One thing is for sure. as soon as they start trowing thos nukes.. The planet will explode from the inside. So also thos bunkers will be injected into space.. The planet will become a big pile of meteorites when they use nuclear bombes. No matter were you live. The earth stops existing

      ikr what a fucking asshole. These billionaires are not coming over to contribute to New Zealand. They won't pay any more taxes and they're only concerned about saving or helping themselves or their immediate family.

      Samual, as an American who lived in NZ back in the 90's and disagrees with Ayn Rand & the libertarian ilk who follow her (since they've decimated our country and character), this comment is spot on and wise. A community is far better & more powerful than any individual (clever or not). Keep fighting the good fight!

      @@ghostuscoyote the plan isn't secret but the locations are,,by the time you get into those hills to find them you're lost then you have to dig the mountain up looking for them..basically if you show 1 where do you think the first place everyone in that area are going to go in a situation where a bunker is needed..the thing is New Zealand is basically all sea level so it would be useless in a tsunami type situation
