Thanks for showing the bunkers in all the different stages. What I enjoyed mored than anything was hearing Enes laughing. He’s always so serious and professional on his other videos. This one seemed like a lot of fun to do and I liked hearing them joke with one another.
Great video! This community reminds me of the Greater World Earthship community in Taos, NM! Only, instead of bunkers, they have off-grid, self sustainable adobe homes built with 50% recycled materials. They grow food, collect and filter rainwater, recycle used water, solar panels and battery bank, disposes of your waste, and when built right can be very beautiful and naturalistic. Might be worth checking out, and maybe even, doing a video like this on it?
Hats off to your guide and owner! Well done, guys! I had no idea this place existed; but makes more and more sense when hearkening the old days of fallout shelters and our world today. Thanks!
Enes! What a Talent!!! You should do more “unexpected” videos like this one! I loved this surprise, you have such a talent, not only for real estate, you have a lot of talent just filming with your friends having a good time. You should create a new channel for great places to go for vacation and giving tour to the hotels you visit!!! You are awesome!
Enes never disappoints! Love that you're branching out to cover alternative forms of living spaces. Would've been the icing on the cake if you'd introduced the seedy motel room in your signature style: "Mikey, come over here, look at the attention to detail. Look how the mini fridge matches the dimensions of the microwave perfectly."
That laughter of Enes right after he said he's waiting killer deserts after dinner.. made me laugh hard 😂 and I have to admit, after all the luxury you've been showing us, this episode is the most sincere and fun one. Especially with all of you guys who were like on a nice guy's trip and trying explore the fun in everything.
The biggest issue with his custom bunker is fresh food. The storage above the bedrooms is great. But where is the cold cellar? And why use so much space for games room or an office? If you're living in a fall out shelter its because the world is toast.. You should have created a nice 200 sq ft indoor hydroponics room. grow fresh lettuce and veggies
Even state of the art bunkers are only practical for around three years and that's with hydroponics and water reclamation systems. You would be lucky to last a few months in this bunker I bet. The way the ventilation system is just sitting on the top makes me think it would just be toast if the bombs dropped somewhat close by.
@@billfred9411 I agree , and with bunker buster bombs these are not I believe deep enough to defend from them considering that the GBU-28 and GBU-37. can penetrate 200 feet of 5000 psi hardened concrete and is accurate enough for multiple hits on the same location to penetrate deeper if needed .And these are surface depth...Concrete coffins IMO during war time.... Maybe good for conventional But during peace time, I like the idea of South Dakota Govt not kyboshing the peoples idea's and will to makes something awesome from something left behind . Kudos to that state and to the parties involved in creating it.
@@robertadair6595 I can't imagine why any military would want to use a Bunker Buster for a civilian bunker. Those are usually reserved for entrenched military positions or stockpiles.
This bunker complex looks pretty cool and has some great planning put in place, but I see some potentially significant flaws. It's possible the flaws I saw were simply not covered here, but these are my thoughts. *1. Lack of trees and vegetation.* With no trees nearby, there are no alternative sources of fuel for warmth or building materials. Trees always have and will continue to be a very important source of combustible fuel for warmth, cooking, and habitation for wild animals. *2. Lack of forest nearby.* As mentioned in the first point, without trees or a forest, there won't be many animals that can be used for food. Stores of long-term dehydrated food is good for storage, but it goes pretty quick if you are feeding more than one or two mouths. You need a good source of wild animals and a nearby forest within walking distance is kind of important. Also, hunting, gathering, and farming is a better long-term solution, supplemented with dehydrated stored food when the first 3 options run low. *3. Poor soil quality.* This is kind of subjective based upon merely looking at the terrain, but that soil looks like very nutrient poor, good for nothing more than growing grass. Again, a huge part of survival is diversifying food intake and production. *4. Lack of water source.* Perhaps the water table is not too deep and there is sufficient underground water for a well, but not having a nearby surface water supply is concerning. Running surface water, like a stream or river and a pond or lake is vital to supporting a diverse animal population, both wild and domestic. As a side note, I would also consider turning one of those bunkers into a communal food/supply storage facility. Or perhaps make it into a General store where one of the families living there year round manages it and people can buy, sell, and barter items. If anyone lives there full-time, having a General store seems pretty important. The nearest town may be 2+ hours away and won't be much help if things start to shut down in the nation and/or world.
Just gonna jump in and say Edgemont is over a huge underground aquifer. However, they are going to frack uranium out of it, so you're right. Soon there won't be a good water supply.
Seems kind of like a role play to be honest. Or the dude's trying to make a bunch of money off of paranoid people. At least for the time being it all seems like a fine place to live while society is still functioning and modern amenities are still available but doesn't seem really sustainable enough for very long in the event of a societal collapse. It's too reliant on other outside sources.
Also as a former munitions storage depot, it assume its pretty high on an enemies list of places that will get hit. Same with people who refurbish old missile silos. The weapons they have today would probably kill everybody inside pretty easily. Id prefer a cabin in the mountains away from any city and military bases.
I agree. If the idea is to be able to survive a nuclear attack, then the lack of fuel, food, and water will be big problems. Also lack of redundancy. All these fancy electric heating and cooling systems are fine, but when the shit hits you're going to need a primitive wood fired stove, maybe solar or wind to generate some power and battery storage. Also building this on a decommissioned military base is a bad idea, if the enemy is using an old map, they'll nuke it thinking it's still a military base.
This one is so different! Normally we see the super cool Enes gliding from one massive room to the next but it was really good to see behind the scenes and get to know the team a little more. I'm not sure I'd want to live in one as I'd stay awake all night wondering if someone was covering over that vent pipe (a tad claustrophobic!) but it was really interesting to see inside and see the opportunity they offer.
This format is awesome! This VLOG kind of vibe is very nice, I love it. Also, Dante seems like a very nice dude too, and its bunker is so cool too. Honestly I loved this video. For sure one of my all time fav! Thanks team!
I loved the video style for this one. Loved seeing you guys eating Arby's and getting the giggles sleeping in the bunks underground. Would love to see more of these super-unique properties! Very entertaining!
I've been watching your channel for a while now and this is probably one of the best ones yet. I've heard about this place and even looked it up on the web, so it was nice to see you tour it and share it with us.
I recently stayed with some friends at their bunker there. It was not at all what I was expecting. Very interesting place. Living there means experiencing life in a different way than most anywhere else.
I was born in Igloo, South Dakota, in 1946. My father was assigned there shortly after my birth, and our family only stayed there a short time. My father told me many years later about the Black Hills Ordnance Depot and the concrete storage units (Igloos). Seems that was where the US government stored all their poison gas ordnance consisting of artillery shells, rockets and bombs during WWII. These consisted of not only gases used in WWI (Picric acid, mustard gas, chlorine gas and others) but gases developed before and during WWII, known as "Nerve Agents." He told me about one poor soldier who had the unfortunate experience of having one of these weapons explode while he was inside one of the igloos. He died pretty much instantly, and since the door to the igloo was open at the time, everything living for around a couple of miles downwind of the igloo also died (fortunately no more humans). I personally would think long and hard about buying one of these igloos for a "bug-out" shelter. The government may have done a great job of cleaning out these bunkers after the bunkers were de-commissioned, but knowing the government as I do, I would have my doubts.
I would also be concerned about chemical contamination in the soil and possibly the structures themselves. I agree with your comment re: the government..........
I do want to say, thanks for doing something like this. I've seen alit of abandoned places just crumble because no one decided to reuse them. This is great to see and I hope you keep at least 1 bunker as it was back then to be able to show people what they looked like before
0:40 OMG! We always see Enes in serious presentation. And when we got to see this reaction back of the camera is just pure great! Also love the Tarantino title card style 👏🏻
Enes! Mikey! Other Camera Guy! Love seeing you branch out your channel content. I hope you continue the trend and start touring places that are just extraordinary regardless of the price tag. Thanks for all your hard work!
A tired Enes is a giggling one! LOVED the realness of this vid & those bunkers are amazing! Thank you for such a unique experience with you guys! Kudos to Dante, as well, for designing such great spaces to get away from things. I wouldn’t mind living off the grid there!
This was really interesting - to see you out of your comfort zone, shooting rifles, staying overnight in small motel rooms, staying in a barn like bunker, with very simple living, sleeping in bunk beds. I mean really - that is so different - but that's exactly why it is so interesting. I had no idea, that such a place existed.
Hope everybody is doing well! This video was filmed on January 15th to 16th. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people that affected by current global events and you can find the Unicef link below for any donations: bit.ly/3tu2Mmj
I got a bunker you can film. It's called my bedroom. Nothing ever happens there so you'll be quite safe but also quite bored. It's BYOCF (bring your own canned food) of course.
first of all war is not good ! but do you know where the money goes ? do you know the history of ukraine ? media is telling lies , think for yourself , dont trust the media , DONT fund ukraine
During my army service at Ft. Lewis, Washington, I’ve stood guard duty for similar bunkers. Nowhere near as many, but similar. The ones I guarded were still in use. I had thoughts of what I would do if I had even one! Very cool!
Ok, then you should probably know that it wouldn't take that big of a missile to break through this, not underground bunkers, if they take a Direct missile hit.. huh
@@PipeLayer83I've been looking for your statement and pleased to find it, A wild stretch of the IMAGINATION TO CALL THIS A BUNKER, IT'S A ARMOURED STORAGE UNIT OFFERING SOME PROTECTION,A GLORIFIED "ANDERSON SHELTER"
Okay I was wondering, because even though these are excellent pound-for-pound, isn't it too above ground to shield from nuclear? And with all of those extra holes not just for air which is necessary, but openings for Wi-Fi and ect, isn't that too much chance for air and radiation to seep through? I always thought the only holes so to speak you want in your bunker is ways to get in and out, and ways for air?
The thing is, how do you know that these bunkers are actually capable of doing what they are claimed to be able to do? It’s not like you can sue the developer when you realize radiation is seeping in lol.
@@russelllapua4904 Sure, but it feels like a scam. The developer can make a ton of money by promising something that, if it were to occur, having people hold him accountable would be the least of his worries.
@@eufrosniad994 Yeah, i felt like its a scam too, there is no way those dors can whitstand radiatioin of a modern day nucelar bomb. Hence, Im pretty sure you culd break them apart by pulling them off using excavator or a pick up truck. Also filtering system to me seems like it has a lot of flaws, one of them being that its so obvious. Same goes for escape door. Then there is a question about food production in cases like these, ok you do have your stacks, but you will ran out of them in a year lets sat, then what? It is not really self sustainable comunity as he is trying to present it at the beginning. Solar panel also seems off, in case of nuclear winter youd need a manual generator inside the bunker. Also fuel storage is one of the safetly flaws in case something goes wrong and gets on fire... These are some of many things i had throughout the video.
@@misterengineer690 Did they ever say anything about where the water comes from ? Not sure if each bunker has its own well. The fuel would be best kept in an outside buried tank. I think the water situation would be my biggest concern mainly for drinking and growing food.
So awesome to see the whole crew behind the scenes. So real and so down to earth. Thank you so much Mikey & Enes for all of the fantastic videos. Dont ever stop.
What's missing is landscaping and a perimeter wall and security! You could make it really nice. Like a 1950's housing estate but gated. It could also use starlink broadband for each property.
I dunno but by the end of the video I was starting to really like the appearance outside. It helps remind me of why I would want to live in one, it's more for getting away in an emergency such as large scale riots or natural disasters. But it would be so cool to have parties while driving around in those kart-style ATVs. Plus your neighbors can't wake you up at 1 am with loud music! Heck, they could probably fire a machine gun and nobody would hear it....😂
Security is one problem, but the major problem is lack of natural water source... once water supplies are gone these people will have no choice but to leave or die.
@@largol33t1 firing guns, bombs and shit are usual things there I suppose 🤣 I can imagine everyone showing their new loud weapons, which are more lethal then the previous ones

Easy to get into, why waste your money???? All ones needs is salt, a water spritzing bottle and the hinges/anything steel on the outside is GONE, in under 2 weeks, for 5 minutes a day.
Great production Enes! I really liked the background music and the more vlog style. Dante seemed like a cool dude, and I thought it was fun to show a bit of the culture with the practice shooting. Interesting to see a doomsday bunker, though I think it would also be cool to see some of the larger mansions and estates out in the country. I guess I just find myself more interested in the classical style mansions, massive estates, and otherwise unique properties than the ultra-modern glass box ones. Either way you're absolutely killing it, great job! Hope you have a great rest of the week.
I would EASILY love to see you hosting a travel show! This was so entertaining and interesting! I love your real estate tours, but this was different, and I just have the itch to see you hosting maybe “quirky living situations” or something like that around the US, or world! Kudos to you Enes and team!!!
Hey Enes, I'm watching since the early days and I absolutely love the variety in the tours. There is just no other channel with this level of quality and detail. My question is... Will there be some more content from Europe? Keep up the great work, thank you for these Videos
I can only imagine the clientele this place will attract. End of world, flat earthers, survivalists, militias, etc. And have you ever been to this part of South Dakota? It's an unforgiving environment with an extreme climate and literally nothing for miles. I'll pass... But my hat is off to Enes, Mikey and the crew for giving us a tour.
That's stereotyping a bunch of non related groups of people. I'd say rational people would buy the bunkers too. All it takes is for one psychopath with a nuclear arsenal to destroy this planet. What if an asteroid hit? We don't have any defenses against that now do we?
Considering over the last few years we learned that a lot of the babies in this country couldn't even deal with wearing a mask or getting a vaccine or working from home, there's no way they could survive living in these things, especially really living in these things where you can't open the door, can't go shopping for food, never seeing sunlight etc etc. They'd probably take one of their little pea shooters and put it to their head within a week. LOL
the "nothing for miles" is why I love the Dakotas :) although you are right the badlands area south of I90 is has a more extreme living condition than north of I90. COLD COLD windy winters, and HOT HOT windy summers (There's only 2 seasons in South Dakota ha)
Honestly, if you have money to buy this, might as well dig basement and make it also an shelter or extension to basement which is the sealed bunker section. Much more functional option. Or get some summer cottage out in the woods far away from any major population centers. Both functional and fun. Maybe even add bunker to summer cottage.
This channels success is so well deserved. Enes and the rest of the team are consistently upping their game. I am always so excited to see that you uploaded. Thanks for that!
Issues with the bunker concept: 1. Off-grid - is all the electricity via gas generator? Where is the hardened generator (outside the front door is not survivable)? How about batteries for smoothing supply/use, or when the gennie is out? No consideration for solar or wind? 2. Sewage disposal/water supply - is it per bunker or centralized? Either one has problems. 3. Fresh air - where is the filtration system for air intake? Are there CO2 scrubbers and tanked oxygen when fully closed down? 4. Envelope Integrity - incredibly poor. The "NBC filters" break the concrete, and are not as strong. The chimney at the rear was for venting off-gassing from ammunition stored in the bunker, and not designed to prevent ingress. The emergency hatch fails on so many levels, first breaking envelope Integrity, then being subject to the same issues that could block the main entrance (ice/snow). Neither entrance is airlocked, which means that once you go in, you can't go out and back in without compromising the cleanness of the bunker. 5. These were ammo storage bunkers, and well-designed for that purpose, which is to ensure that any accident would limit damage to only the affected bunker. The concrete shell and over-burden is intended for explosion containment, not keeping things out. 6. The construction of these ammo storage bunkers as blisters on the landscape, and the totally flat area means that a relatively small (sub-megaton?) nuke would devastate a significant area around ground zero, ripping up bunkers completely, caving in walls, etc. 7. The greatest security for the residents isn't the bunker, it's simply the isolation, and the fact that no one cares about them. USD45K seems really steep for a lot of not much at all...
Hey, Enes. Great video. It was great to see this "different" aspect from what you guys are normally showing us. I hope it was as much fun for you guys to shoot as it was for me to watch. It was definitely a unique take on American life. Sort of a throwback to the fifties and early sixties "cold war" era. Great job. Hope to see more of these "different takes" on American homes.
I really enjoyed thinking outside the box with new content. Though it was interesting, the end of days just means that! And these community’s always makes me think usually not a good vibe
I discovered this place last year when Kara & Nate toured it, it's great to see it through your eyes now. As usual, fantastic shots of the area, I hope you enjoyed the night sky.
a small thought i had @ 24:00 what sort of Fire Suppressant do the bunkers in case of an Electrical Fire?? I also noticed there was not a Sprinkler System @ 19:22 in case of any other fire! In a Normal home this isn't really thought about because we have windows and many exits. I would think that in a bunker that is supposed to shield you from the outside world. That it would also protect you from its self. Image going to bed and a fire started when you were sleeping. The bunker would become your coffin.
I really enjoyed this! But, uh, a couple things. I grew up in Rapid City in the 90s and we used to sneak onto this property and run around for fun - we called it Igloo - and it is hella isolated! But Dante suggested it was over an hour from any paved roads, which just isn’t true. At most, it’s a 10-minute drive south of highway 18, which is very much paved. You can check it out yourself, it’s just SW of Edgemont, SD, and VERY noticeable on a map! Also, those pictures starting at 0:50 - with the exception of Mt Rushmore - are deeeeefinitely not South Dakota. South Dakota doesn’t have mountains that look anything like those. I hate to be a Negative Nellie, but I gotta represent my home state! Again though, great video; I had no idea Igloo was being used for anything like this!
What Dante actually said was they had not been on a paved road in over in hour......referring to driving around inside the property.....the front gate is approximately 6 miles off the paved road.
Enes, I am writing to you from the Crimea, being very close to the bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. You can’t even imagine how relevant the dwellings you show are now!
Awesome! I live near a place like this, it’s still active though. But, there’s several hundred (if not thousands) of retired munitions bunkers. It’s in a National Forest essentially. There’s also still old WWI & WWII munitions out there. A bunch of trees exploded about 15 years ago, because they were saturated with TNT over the years. I went on a tour there once, they offer it every few years. Definitely a one of a kind tour, remember there’s a bunch of these bunker complexes all over America.
The same "community" will turn on each other when food starts to dwindle. Remember, each bunker has air intake-all you have to do is choke or smoke them out. In survival model-moral is the first out the window.
There's no way I could handle that kind of life. A house without windows is like a meal with no flavors. A landscape without trees and hills is like a family without a spouse or kids... To think that some folks allow irrational fears to push them into that sort of self-imposed poverty is kind of mind-blowing. If Armageddon really happens; if nuclear fallout decimates the planet; if zombies overrun the world... do you really want to stay alive and be there to just to be able to say, "I survived and now I'm going to live the "good" life"??? My gut level says, "if you want to live in that sort of world, go right ahead". In the mean time I'm going to continue living what I consider a normal and rich life for how ever many days it is available. A warm house with natural light and beautiful views out the windows. A property surrounded by forested mountains, lakes and rivers. Hunting and fishing when ever I want. Availability of a huge selection of fresh and wholesome food in well stocked supermarkets that are only a 30 minute drive away. A freezer full of self-procured game meat. Friends that come and go freely without having to deal with fences and chained gates. Barbeques in the yard. The sound of birds singing in the woods. Shudder and worry in your doomsday caves... or live life to the fullest. You're free to choose.
I’m the same way. I couldn’t handle living out there. I’d either be playing video games every day to distract myself from the ever increasing depression or I’d off myself. If there was a nearby forest, body of water, or any sort of green space, it’d be more manageable and welcoming, but in its current state, it looks like living in an actual apocalypse.

Those bunkers are not safe... Raiders could plug up the black air pipe on the outside and force the dwellers inside to come out... or, they could simply make a fire under the pipe and have the bunker fill with carbon dioxide. Either way, if a bunch of raiders wishes to get into these bunkers they will... sooner or later... and given that the raiders are already on the outside they've got all the time in the world... they can wait. A better way to create a bunker community would be this: 1. Underground bunkers with an air and water filtration system. 2. The bunkers should be much closer together. 3. The perimeter needs to be surrounded by a wall and a moat; the wall needs to be high enough and the moat deep enough to discourage all but the most stubborn of raiders from attempting a raid. 4. Fill the moat with quicksand, deep enough to swallow anything... be it Human or animal. 5. Install mines and booby traps all over the perimeter to discourage all those who would dare to attack. 6. Make the traps as inhumane, brutal, and cruel as possible to really hammer it home that attacking your community comes at a severe cost. 7. Once a raid has been defeated; leave the bunkers, take the corpses, and create a number of effigies with them to scare of raiders and/or discourage future raids. 8. Integrate a few of the corpses into the architecture of your community to increase the fear factor even further and send the message that anyone who dares to oppose you will most likely die there.
This kind of videos along the regular ones make your channel so much more interesting. Thanks for your work! You got youself a new subscriber after a long time of just passing by from time to time.
P.S. I was in the Navy and its almost like being on a Sub or small ship. It actually brought back memories, a few good ones actually. Also i think the top of the hallways should be made into even more storage. An extra area for even more fuel for both the unit and vehicles. So they would have to have fire systems and fire proof walls. as well as blast proof. Also do you offer ways to connect two units? Like a tunnel to connect the two for a larger group?
Yeah, but I guess the point is really for these shelters to have advantageous location, secure and measures to filter air and such. I mean you really only need actual bunker if you are preparing for straight up impact on the location. Aka, cities or in some strategic location. Not to mention if you are making shelter in your own plot where you actually live, digging down is probably only choice. For one, it's cheaper in most cases to dig down than buy more land, if you live in neighborhood you probably can't buy any more land next to you etc. Well, unless you live in really rural area.
@@mukkaar You're right, but in an actual SHTF scenario, the first thing that's going to happen is that psychopathic scavengers are going to pay the people living in these "bunkers" a visit at night with weapons. It just seems safe because it has a steel door.
Although it's really cool to see you guys exploring these new things, on the other hand it was really really scary to think that someone could be living in that much isolation. That night view!!!😨
Living in the country in 'isolation' is awesome. Not having neighbors is amazing. No city sounds, sirens, traffic, etc. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I saw another you tuber tour this place, then it seemed like they just threw in whatever was in the return area at Home Depot. His pitch was getting you into a bunker as cheap as possible. I glad he’s learning more about design and floor plan. It’s a unique novelty home. They were 35000 back then. It’s also worth considering the concrete looks like it has a lot of weather damage in the places where the dirt has eroded.

Thanks!
Our pleasure! glad you enjoyed the tour!
Absolutely LOVED this episode. Got to really see a more down-to-earth side of your whole team and a very interesting scene change
Tell bro he has some light bulbs that needs to replace
I wish these houses could be connected underground through a tunnel so that families can see each other
Probably can honestly
I doubt they would have a problem digging holes to other bunkers but thats a shit ton of work

@@TaylorHaubrich thats exactly why I wouldnt want someone tunneling into my bunker lmao

Thank you, Abraham! I do it on my 2nd channel Enes Plus, check it out th-cam.com/users/enesplus
LOL! more to come!
Totally different than the mansions you usually tour. I love it.

Awesome, thank you!
Amazing tour. I didn't realize I suffered from claustrophobia until now .
I would need to have " mock video windows" in each space.
They need growing rooms with UV lights...
@@richardextall2002 Honestly they should dedicate like 5%-20% of the bunkers just for that to feed the rest. Just dedicated food bunkers.
*1. Lack of trees and vegetation.*
With no trees nearby, there are no alternative sources of fuel for warmth or building materials. Trees always have and will continue to be a very important source of combustible fuel for warmth, cooking, and habitation for wild animals.
*2. Lack of forest nearby.*
As mentioned in the first point, without trees or a forest, there won't be many animals that can be used for food.
*3. Poor soil quality.*
This is kind of subjective based upon merely looking at the terrain, but that soil looks like very nutrient poor, good for nothing more than growing grass. Again, a huge part of survival is diversifying food intake and production.
*4. Lack of water source.*
Perhaps the water table is not too deep and there is sufficient underground water for a well, but not having a nearby surface water supply is concerning.
The zombies block the door and the air supply.

💯
Can't wait until TEAD closes down and a similar community becomes available in Utah... Near everything.
One Satan missile is probably still assigned to that target area just to make sure.
also it’s questionablely farmable. lack of water there makes farming hard which would be necessary
I do want to say, thanks for doing something like this. I've seen alit of abandoned places just crumble because no one decided to reuse them. This is great to see and I hope you keep at least 1 bunker as it was back then to be able to show people what they looked like before

They probably don't. But they'll see it as a better chance of survival than a regular house.
That's the point.
@@misterengineer690 Did they ever say anything about where the water comes from ? Not sure if each bunker has its own well. The fuel would be best kept in an outside buried tank. I think the water situation would be my biggest concern mainly for drinking and growing food.
Love the diversity, thanks for your work Enes! 🔥

@@largol33t1 firing guns, bombs and shit are usual things there I suppose 🤣

This is by far my favorite. Would love to see more videos like this.
Exactly what I was thinking! Especially when the gun came out.
Thank you so much for adding subtitles to your videos. They are very helpful for hearingimpaired and deaf people like me! 😊
our pleasure! glad you could put those subtitles to good use!
Issues with the bunker concept:
One of them has a solar panel with a generator for night time
No natural light would be huge problem if you have to bunker down for an extended period of time
During a nuclear winter the solar panels would be of no use. How is the air filtered? Where is the fresh water? Sewage?
@@RestrictedHadesBut the panel is high enough off the ground where a common wind storm can take it away.
This was my favorite tour so far. Fun to see you gut out of your comfort zones.
We've seen tours of houses, palaces, apartments and motorhomes, but this is the first time I've seen a tour inside shelters

I discovered this place last year when Kara & Nate toured it, it's great to see it through your eyes now. As usual, fantastic shots of the area, I hope you enjoyed the night sky.
thanks! we really did!
a small thought i had @ 24:00 what sort of Fire Suppressant do the bunkers in case of an Electrical Fire?? I also noticed there was not a Sprinkler System @ 19:22 in case of any other fire! In a Normal home this isn't really thought about because we have windows and many exits. I would think that in a bunker that is supposed to shield you from the outside world. That it would also protect you from its self. Image going to bed and a fire started when you were sleeping. The bunker would become your coffin.
This has to be one of my favorite episodes from you so far! Well done and a great step off your usual path. Love the editing, Mikey!
makes us happy to hear that!
I’m sorry but if I’m buying an apocalypse bunker, I want it to be secluded and very deep underground, I do not by any means, want neighbours.
Really enjoyed this episode guys, congrats! If you ever branch out to do a tour across the US campervan style I'd love to be the driver.
Wow! Maybe one day!
Enes, I am writing to you from the Crimea, being very close to the bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. You can’t even imagine how relevant the dwellings you show are now!
Hope you're doing alright over there!
Definitely a one of a kind tour, remember there’s a bunch of these bunker complexes all over America.
the safest place in a war is always away from your own military installations, as they are the main target of enemy strikes
💙💙 always looking forwards to Mondays and Saturdays you guys inspire me. Love your videos !!!
Thank you so much! you are the best!
Enjoy next week lol

I also thought they were supposed to be underground.
A better way to create a bunker community would be this:
8. Integrate a few of the corpses into the architecture of your community to increase the fear factor even further and send the message that anyone who dares to oppose you will most likely die there.
this vlog style is so wonderful it really feels like we are going to the bunker in real life its amazing bravo
This kind of videos along the regular ones make your channel so much more interesting. Thanks for your work! You got youself a new subscriber after a long time of just passing by from time to time.
Thank you very much! really appreciate it!
There should be a steel or concrete push out or seperate wall in front of bunker door to keep someone from blocking it with a vehicle or debri....
Wow, love that idea.
This is NOT a bunker. This is an ABOVE GROUND shelter.
For real! These shelters were even obsolete before Lockheed started developing bunker busters.
Nvm I thought this was another bunker from the thumbnail I hadn't watched the video now
@@brandon659366 the thing is no Oke would use a bunker buster ir directly strike that little complex
I like to see all the fany million dollar modern houses in prime locations, however... a fully equipped bunker is next level. Its nothing i would buy, but its pretty unique.
Great to see you guys explore such unique residential concepts like this one. Top notch presentation as always 👍🏼
Thanks a ton!
The low lights are depressing. Needs more light to psychologically survive there
I got so happy when I saw cameraman get a bowl of food too, its something that is never shown on any show, and as a cameraman i know some hosts forget that we too exist
You guys are awesome. The professional videos are great, but it's also so fun to see a more personal and fun video once in a while.
Thank you so much!
Hi guys!!! I am writing from Ukraine: at the moment this is probably the most relevant video tour of vital real estate. Which Ukrainians need on the territory of Ukraine. Peaceful sky above your head!!! And God forbid to use this property for its intended purpose !!!!! Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!!!!! P.S. Many thanks to all Americans for helping our country !!!!!
🌻Ukraine is in my prayers.
Not just Americans. We Canadians are sending what we can to help your people. Your resilience and resistance is an inspiration. We understand the stakes go beyond Ukraine. Don't lose hope.
I fucking love this episode. What a cool change of pace.
It warms my heart to see Californian's, from LA even, actually shooting sporting rifles (not assault rifles, there's a big difference between the two!) and having fun doing it! Go Mikey--you had a good grip and looked comfortable shooting! That's why I love the shooting sports, they're difficult, yet some of the most fun you can have! Great video, and very interesting content about those bunkers. I loved seeing you guys out at the range! Do more stuff like this--and my vote goes to having Mikey on the camera, he has the best footage and comments! I love your channel, great work!
I loved this video!! This shows you have potential to expand your channel into not only luxury real estate, which I could really see being profitable. Good job!!
Thanks you so much!!
I’ve always wondered about this place! Thanks for the change of scenery and creative use of architecture from a military function to a survival home!! Bravo
Loved watching you LA boys do some shooting! Great episode as always.
