Story 9; That is so freaky. One time, a few years ago when I was about 14 (at this age, I am not exactly "vulnerable" to events like this. I hadn't had any ghostly things happen to me since I was 7), my family decided to do a ropes course called Flagstaff Extreme. We planned to go early Saturday morning so that it wouldn't be hot while we went through the course, and we would have the rest of the day to go shopping in town. Friday night, I went into my room at 10:00. I planned to wake up at 7:00am, so I started getting ready for bed. The only people in the house were my two sisters, my mom, and my dad. I crawled into bed around 10:20, when I heard my mom walk up to the outside of my closed, bedroom door. (I am familiar with the sounds of the footsteps of my family members). She asked me if I had any extra socks lying around. Irritated at her horrible timing, I sighed and said "Yeah, do you want them right now?" Silence. No response. Instead of being freaked out, I just got annoyed. I grabbed a pair of my socks and opened my bedroom door, only to find a dark, empty hallway. Now, I'm a little freaked out. I've always been scared of the hallway outside my bedroom, since the attic door is literally right outside (and above) my door. I set the pair of socks onto the counter to the right of my bedroom, closed the door, and returned to bed. Next thing I know, I am awakened by the feeling that someone is watching me. I am facing away from my bedroom door, and I realize there is a shadow on my wall, coming from the direction of the doorway. Confused, and thinking that I may have woken up late, I quickly turned to see what the shadow was of. Standing in my bedroom door way, with the door wide open, was a silhouette of a man. And when I say silhouette, I mean I couldn't make out any features on his appearance. I ask "Dad? Is that you?" No response. Kinda freaked out, I ask "Uhm.. what time is it?" At this moment, the man shifted his weight to his other leg, and began to walk towards me. I panicked and turned to grab my phone as a light source, but when I looked back, the man was gone. I convinced myself that it had to have been my dad just freaking me out on purpose, and I went back to sleep after seeing that it was 3:36am. When I awoke later that morning, I went to the living room where my mom and dad were waiting on my sisters and I to get ready. I asked my mom why she had asked me for socks last night and then didn't wait for me to hand them to her. She looked confused and said "I didn't ask you for your socks." I thought, whatever, okay, maybe I had imagined that. But I knew for a fact that I had not imagined the man that came into my room. So I asked my dad "And why did you come into my room last night?" He looked confused and said "I didn't. Are you okay? Did you have a bad dream or something?" I said "Really, dad, stop messing with me. Why did you come into my room last night? You really freaked me out." My dad's face turned pale and he got really upset. He said "Sweetheart... I can tell you are scared. I would not do that to you. I never went into your room last night." Needless to say, I was terrified. Still don't know what really happened that night. My parents still deny doing anything to scare me.

I was watching this as midnight. It's all stormy (I live by the ocean so foggy too), and there's a breeze though my window is closed blowing my bat and skeleton jack o lantern i have hanging from the ceiling above my bed. Anyone. I kill a spider on my pillow halfway through. Then, during the last one my red eyed white rabbit jumps at me.... All and all pretty normal night.
I have a creepy story. I don't know if you would call it a ghost story, but it was defiantly weird. I was about 10 years old. And I was on holiday with my dad and brother. We were staying in a crappy cravan type thing. I was trying to get to sleep, which was pretty hard because the beds were uncomfortable as shit. Anyway, I started hearing this weird noise. It sounded like when you scratch your nails over guitar strings. This went on for a few minutes, I was creeped out, so I tried to pretend like it wasn't happening. Suddenly it stopped. I felt something push on really hard on my back. So hard I jolted forward. Nothing happened after that, but that's the spookiest thing that's ever happened to me.
Just thought of another one. I don't know how old I was, but I was young enough to not know when you're about vomit. Which I had just done all over myself. I was about to call for my mum, I was looking at my open door, when she walked in. Carrying laundry. I was about to tell her what happened, when she disappeared after like 2 seconds. Being young, I ignored it and called for her again. This time, she actually did come in. Carrying laundry. And did the exact same thing as the "apparition" did. It was only years after did I remember it and think "well, that was kinda da weird"
I have one I'm still scared about it So I went to a sleep away camp and I made a really good friend her bunk was next to mine we both had the top bunk. So I told to wake me up if she needed to go to the bathroom or needed something. So she didn't wake me up at all for a few days until.... I was sleeping I felt a hard shanke then a slap I woke up. It was my friend she was crying and dead pale I told her go back to sleep but I saw her face so I knew she was scared I asked her what's wrong and she said " he's here he's in the showers" I told her again to go back to sleep she said he was a killer in her dream I told her she might be candy or tired drunk since we had a camp party with candy and soda. But she said he's coming for us. I was freaked out and I told her to just calm down and lay down. So she went back on her bed then she froze turning even more pale and a tear. Frozen on her face I heard he say "no…no…no…" she went straight under the covers a said get down. I looked to tell our consler that she was freaking out but she wasn't there then I looked around and tried to wake the others up they all said shut up and sleep. So I went back up on my bunk my friend was still crying and said "don't look out the window" I toke a small peak the. I froze there in the middle of the camp circle or meat up was a tall man in all black and a long gray beard and a knife I went straight under my covers I cried all night praying to live. The next morning I went to brush my teeth when we heard a bloody scream I ran to the showers and my friend was standing there wet in a towel with a few other girls bundled up pointing to the shower I looked in and in the shower was a note written with knife or sharp tool saying" your lucky for now but next time I won't miss you in the showers the group of girls all saw the man last night no one used that shower for the rest of the camp year. The next year I found a note in the shower roped up saying "your next" and I heard a girl crying she said he's coming for me I was scared but I go to that camp every year and after that year we never heard about the man in the black again but I'm still scared that soon I will be next
I got one. It's not really that scary, but I think it counts as a scary story. I don't remember how old I exactly was, but I'm guessing I was around 6 or 7. It was late at night, probably around 1:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep for reason, after trying to do so several times. Since my bed was facing my side-open doorway, I just stared at the closed door of my parents' room that was across from mine. Then, all of a sudden, I heard a loud dog bark. That scared the shit outta me and I immediately covered myself with my sheets. It clearly came from the inside of my house. I know what you might be thinking, 'It was probably your dog or a neighbor's' But the problem is........We don't have a dog.....And our neighbor's were asleep......
#15 - I knew someone who decided to "play around" with an entity like that who wanted to possess him. He let it in once; after that, it wouldn't leave him alone. He allowed it "in" twice more. The third time, it took his life. Moral of the story: DON'T MESS WITH STUFF LIKE THAT. It's real and nothing good comes of it.

Did you think I was really gonna say something like "On the toilet with no toilet paper", you did didn't you.

I've had TWO ghostly experiences in my life. The first occurred when I was six. I got up in the night to go to the bathroom. The stairway light was on and my parents were downstairs. As I left the bedroom I heard a knocking sound coming from the bedroom, behind me. A double tap, 'thump-thump'. At first I thought it was just my sister. Then I remembered: my sister was staying at our grandmother's. I heard the knocking sound again. Scared, I turned round and there, in the shadow under one of the beds, was a black shape, vaguely like a high-heeled shoe, banging itself on the floor. I ran screaming downstairs to my parents. They calmed me down and told me I had imagined it. But to this day, I wonder. The second one ocurred when I was 21. I was staying at my cousin's house. They didn't have a spare bed so I slept on the couch in the living room. I wokeu p in the night, conscious of something beside me. I turned and saw an arm coming over the end of the couch, the hand beside me on the pillow. I knew my cousin had been known to sleepwalk, so that was my first thought. But what a strange position. Then I wondered if my cousin was playing a trick on me. But the position seemed so unnatural. Now, I was sceptical in those days and didn't believe in the supernatural, so I decided to test it to make sure I wasn't imagining it. As I reached for the hand, it drew away. I just managed to grab it by the tip of a finger. It felt real, alive, warm. It pulled away and disappeared over the edge of the couch. I looked over and there was nobody there. Scared now, I ran to the lightswitch and put on the light. I searched, but there was nobody there and the door was closed. I slept with the light on until morning. I wasn't so sceptical after that.

I have a creepy story. I don't know if you would call it a ghost story, but it was defiantly weird. I was about 10 years old. And I was on holiday with my dad and brother. We were staying in a crappy cravan type thing. I was trying to get to sleep, which was pretty hard because the beds were uncomfortable as shit. Anyway, I started hearing this weird noise. It sounded like when you scratch your nails over guitar strings. This went on for a few minutes, I was creeped out, so I tried to pretend like it wasn't happening. Suddenly it stopped. I felt something push on really hard on my back. So hard I jolted forward. Nothing happened after that, but that's the spookiest thing that's ever happened to me.
Just thought of another one. I don't know how old I was, but I was young enough to not know when you're about vomit. Which I had just done all over myself. I was about to call for my mum, I was looking at my open door, when she walked in. Carrying laundry. I was about to tell her what happened, when she disappeared after like 2 seconds. Being young, I ignored it and called for her again. This time, she actually did come in. Carrying laundry. And did the exact same thing as the "apparition" did. It was only years after did I remember it and think "well, that was kinda da weird"

So I went to a sleep away camp and I made a really good friend her bunk was next to mine we both had the top bunk. So I told to wake me up if she needed to go to the bathroom or needed something. So she didn't wake me up at all for a few days until.... I was sleeping I felt a hard shanke then a slap I woke up. It was my friend she was crying and dead pale I told her go back to sleep but I saw her face so I knew she was scared I asked her what's wrong and she said " he's here he's in the showers" I told her again to go back to sleep she said he was a killer in her dream I told her she might be candy or tired drunk since we had a camp party with candy and soda. But she said he's coming for us. I was freaked out and I told her to just calm down and lay down. So she went back on her bed then she froze turning even more pale and a tear. Frozen on her face I heard he say "no…no…no…" she went straight under the covers a said get down. I looked to tell our consler that she was freaking out but she wasn't there then I looked around and tried to wake the others up they all said shut up and sleep. So I went back up on my bunk my friend was still crying and said "don't look out the window" I toke a small peak the. I froze there in the middle of the camp circle or meat up was a tall man in all black and a long gray beard and a knife I went straight under my covers I cried all night praying to live. The next morning I went to brush my teeth when we heard a bloody scream I ran to the showers and my friend was standing there wet in a towel with a few other girls bundled up pointing to the shower I looked in and in the shower was a note written with knife or sharp tool saying" your lucky for now but next time I won't miss you in the showers the group of girls all saw the man last night no one used that shower for the rest of the camp year. The next year I found a note in the shower roped up saying "your next" and I heard a girl crying she said he's coming for me I was scared but I go to that camp every year and after that year we never heard about the man in the black again but I'm still scared that soon I will be next

I don't remember how old I exactly was, but I'm guessing I was around 6 or 7. It was late at night, probably around 1:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep for reason, after trying to do so several times. Since my bed was facing my side-open doorway, I just stared at the closed door of my parents' room that was across from mine. Then, all of a sudden, I heard a loud dog bark. That scared the shit outta me and I immediately covered myself with my sheets. It clearly came from the inside of my house. I know what you might be thinking, 'It was probably your dog or a neighbor's' But the problem is........We don't have a dog.....And our neighbor's were asleep......

The first story made me shit bricks because I sometimes have uncontrollable thoughts in my room about wondering if I would invite Satan into this world, and I have to think about Jesus and God and say that I love them even though I'm a passive atheist/humanist. The scary part? My mom had to sage the house several times in order to get rid of what we believe were demons and spirits that were messing with both of us prior to these thoughts.

I've had TWO ghostly experiences in my life. The first occurred when I was six. I got up in the night to go to the bathroom. The stairway light was on and my parents were downstairs. As I left the bedroom I heard a knocking sound coming from the bedroom, behind me. A double tap, 'thump-thump'. At first I thought it was just my sister. Then I remembered: my sister was staying at our grandmother's. I heard the knocking sound again. Scared, I turned round and there, in the shadow under one of the beds, was a black shape, vaguely like a high-heeled shoe, banging itself on the floor. I ran screaming downstairs to my parents. They calmed me down and told me I had imagined it. But to this day, I wonder.
The second one ocurred when I was 21. I was staying at my cousin's house. They didn't have a spare bed so I slept on the couch in the living room. I wokeu p in the night, conscious of something beside me. I turned and saw an arm coming over the end of the couch, the hand beside me on the pillow. I knew my cousin had been known to sleepwalk, so that was my first thought. But what a strange position. Then I wondered if my cousin was playing a trick on me. But the position seemed so unnatural. Now, I was sceptical in those days and didn't believe in the supernatural, so I decided to test it to make sure I wasn't imagining it. As I reached for the hand, it drew away. I just managed to grab it by the tip of a finger. It felt real, alive, warm. It pulled away and disappeared over the edge of the couch. I looked over and there was nobody there. Scared now, I ran to the lightswitch and put on the light. I searched, but there was nobody there and the door was closed. I slept with the light on until morning. I wasn't so sceptical after that.
