    I'm not one of those who are this patient to sit this long for a hair do so I'm applauding your daughter for that. To you mommy, weldon. The end result looks amazing

    Her hair is so gorgeous. I got microlocs about a year ago and a half ago. Best decision ever, frees up so much time trying to manage natural hair.

    You did that! Those locs look so good!! And lol she wanted to watch that tv instead of looking down for you to record. I can’t wait to see an update on the locs.

    Loving going natural. Although I go to hair dresser for my own locks, I indeed had to learn also through youtube to do my daughters myself at home. Thar way we work b our pace and she can take breaks. Your little girl is patient

      Did you take a course to become certified to install her locs? If not; what information would you pass along for me to research to get started? Did you decide how many locs you wanted her to have prior to installation? I’m a DIY person and I want to do her hair to save cost I’m just nervous about messing up.
      I do know that I want her to have a grid, she does have 4C hair and her hair is very dense and thick, similar to your daughter’s hair but she doesn’t have the length.
      And since you started what are things you found out along the way that you wished you knew prior to installation?
      Thank you so much for your response and willing to help.

    Omg ! Anyone who does this style has patience client and stylist. I have always loved your micro locs. They always look amazing. It’s so cute that you and your daughter will have the same style. What is the difference between micro locs and sister locs ?

    • @naturalhy2769
      @naturalhy2769  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! There is not much difference from my understanding. Sisterlocs are trademarked and have a specific grid pattern. Microlocs locs are similar in look and size. Microlocs can be started with interlocks, twists, or braids and are generally cheaper to install

    How did she know she was going ready for locs? How did you come to this decision.

    • @naturalhy2769
      @naturalhy2769  ปีที่แล้ว

      She asked for them. I introduced the idea of locs maybe a year earlier as an alternative to braids for protective style. She hated wash days, detangling, styling, and getting braids. Best hair decision for her. She loves it
