I’ve completed my mechatronics from quantum university and the reason behind choosing is the main class room teaching and other professors expertise I’ve had a good experience which will help me to go ahead further for more opportunity

Mechatronics engineering is mainly the combination of mechanics and electronics .The branch is a upcoming revolution that is about to change the world. There are a lot of scope for the main domain of this branch in the future. We can learn the subject online but being a practical subject you cannot learn it that effectively on yourself.
Chandigarh University is one of the top colleges in india for mechatronics engineering and offer a scholarship by giving a entrance test cucat and based on the score they would provide the scholarship. And Every automation industry is looking forward for mechatronics students and Chandigarh university is offering a good amount of place to every student in different industries not only automation but also the software side and it sector.

I'm really glad I came across your channel, It's really resourceful. I'm a third year mechatronic engineering student and plan to do a master degree in mechatronics also.

Hi, thanks for these usefull resources.
I have done my Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering and I have novice knowlege of programming. I am currently employed as Business Development and Operations engineer but I wish to learn and switch to Mechatronics.
My question is, before I start taking any of the listed courses, is it mandatory to learn any specific programming language upto and certain level and if yes upto what level. Or is it like I'll learn programming during taking up these courses only?
    Kindly enlighten me.

You can look up the curriculum online and start studying. Start with basics. Mathematics should not be skipped. You need advanced algebra and calculus as well as physics. You meed strong understanding in physics. Then learn DC circuits and work your way in to AC circuits. From there learn relay logic. After that you will need to learn plc and structured text programming. As he said in the video all you meed is the discipline and curiosity to get started. But down the road you will have to buy equipment. No one can really teach you mechatronics. It is a passion you must be capable of learning through discipline and sacrifice. You can start with earning money as an apprentice industrial mechanic. There you will learn mechanical and electrical repair and assembly. Then as you learn and teach yourself you will progress to motor controls and automation. Get experience this way and then pay your way through school so you can get a great career as a controls engineer or robotisist. Robotics is really more about research and design. But is a great and amazing field. A mechatronics engineer, we can do it all. But you will have to be obsessed with it to be successful. It is a lifelong journey. And we have to know Information technology and communications as well. These fields are constantly changing and evolving. To just be blunt, if you need someone to point you to websites and build a curriculum for you then you dont have the curiosity and self motivation or drive to be a mechatronics engineer. As a mechatronics engineer, you will be looked upon to have all of the answers. Not someone who is needing large amounts of direction or pointing out flaws in someone who is trying to help you get started to begin with.
