2022 & just got a 1970 D Washington quarter back as change - Best part imo is: it looks like an MS69/70! I'll send it off to be graded in next few months. Thank you for this vid.
After a many year investigation the us mint found that employees were manufacturing rare mint errors, like quad struck dimes, off metals And the only way out with the errors was when they sent the forklifts out for service. They dropped them in the oil and drove them out. I know because I read May articles plus I used to collect error and sold a lot in 2002 when I got hard up. 70’s were the prime years
i just found a 1970 quarter 4 mins ago. I couldnt lie to you, the moment i pick up the quarter i knew it wasnt any quarter. cant miss the feeling of real silver it felt to smooth compared to the quarters now. Anyway i saw the year and remember reading about how rare this quarter is.

I have coins showing 1717 on a few, I have this 41, I'm using a 1000 magnification which causes a visual of much that can't be seen by the eye. I would like to know what's up with the faces on coins. As s.all as they are how are colored photos if you will getting on coins. New coins have mirror effect of pictures which follow light. Very curiosity anyone knows. That's not true most of all are quarters around that time was struck over Canadian coins mine is circulated but has the same markings
Some slick canadian back in the 80s figured out how to double his money by converting it to quarters, and then pressing them into u.s. quarters... Lol
