Haha, thanks so much man, that means a lot coming from you! Your videos are always so entertaining! If you ever wanna do a collab or something I would totally be up for it
Man, I really appreciate that you always put the prices comparisons up for multiple currencies. Really puts my terrible drink spending habits (Starbucks, milkshakes, etc.) into perspective when you say the float is expensive, but my dumb face is spending like 6-7$ on a single drink every time I go out. (650 -770 Yen) Great video, and congrats on the 9K!
Oh yeah! I understand. I have only been to Starbucks a handful of times in my life, but whenever I do go there I always leave feeling shafted on some level ;)
Hi Paul! The Coca Cola Float looked very refreshing on a hot day! I'm glad you enjoyed the Chicken McNuggets. It's so funny...they are so popular, but I don't think I've ever had them. Congratulations on reaching 9,000 subscribers! Hooray!
I understand ---I'm not sure I have ever really ordered them myself before... Oh wait, there was that one time when I did the nugget eating chalenge ;) But apart from that, not really
Great review Paul! Congrats on 9K! Awesome! I guess I need to get a correct order and try the K.O sauce. Thanks for the mention - much appreciated 👍 keep it real 🤟
Nice review Paul. I just tried the spicy McNuggets with my son, but didn't make a video. Maybe we'll go back and try this. Not available in the states?
Thanks! After those volcano noodles I'm sure you didn't find these very spicy either. But yeah, shoot a video with peabrain and let us know what you thought... maybe take along your pocket wasabi ;)
Now... I want nuggets~~~ Congratulations on 9k... ! You have really worked hard and moving up fast.... soon it will be 10k... and we will be here cheering You on!
A success with the McNuggets and 9k subs! Congratulations! that’s a good way to end the week ;) Never had a floating coke ( checked the spelling twice this time haha) before, looks good... I need to see if they have it here somewhere.
Haha, that's right! That was a very amusing way to spell it ;) making your own float at home is super easy too if you can't find one elsewhere. Probably even better
Thanks for the vid! Grats on 9k! What are the typical nugget sauces in Japan? Here there's honey mustard, honey, BBQ, ranch, sweet and sour....maybe a few more....
Congratulations on your 9,000 subscribers Paul!! The spicy McNugget looked yummy, as did the coke float! Your fast food restaurants have all the cool food(s)! Ours are so boring! Thanks for sharing!!
That drink was a good idea on such a humid day! It sounds delicous. Those sauces are interesting, I would try them! Yes 9k!!!!!!!! Good review Paul!!!!!
Thanks! And yeah, I think there is usually some sort of float on the menu here, but the thing that finally got me to give it a try was the added lemon/ginger
9k subs already, this is awesome, well done!! ;). I can not even remember the last time i had chicken nuggets, I think it must of been back in the early 90s and I can still remember they were like waxy chicken in batter and were not very nice, I am sure they have changed by now. I like spicy chicken so I think I would try them chicken nuggets out of curiosity. Great Review as always ;)
I'm the same way. Though I know I did a nugget challenge about 2 years ago... that was probably the last time I had them. Homemade is definitely better ;)
Enjoyed this. We had all kinds of flavors and sizes of chips here in America. I am going to have to try some of these. Thanks for the wonderful vlog. Stay safe and take care.
Really love your reviews! Japan is awesome with limited run items, but they come and go so quickly...it so disappointing when you find something you like then it’s gone. Have a wonderful week!
Yes! You know exactly how it goes. Sometimes I'll put off trying something to get it in a few days, only to find it has sold out. A Starbucks drink I once tried to review even sold out on the first day!
Congrats on 9K! Did you change cameras or frame rate? Video looks sharper. I think the "Spicy Sauce" might be related to the one we have called Habanero Ranch Sauce. Our McNuggets come in a similar package with one sauce. I think the size package you have is usually for the kids' meal.
I didn't ---this camera (gopro) is amazing in the right lighting conditions but really sucks at other times :( And yeah, sadly we don't have ranch here, but this does totally sound like that habanero sauce, or at least something close. I noticed that the menu later that they also offer a 15 piece box here, but I'm not sure if you would get 3 sauces or not
I wonder if that sour cream and onion is like our ranch dip? ( I don’t think it taste like ranch dressing ) Your channel is growing so fast! Congratulations !
KFC here in Aus recently did spicy nuggets. Definitely weren't all that hot either but were a big improvement on the normal nuggets I thought. McDonald's here did a spicy buffalo sauce for their nuggets recently too but alas it wasn't very nice. Also, congrats on the 9k! It's awesome how quickly your channel is growing. :)
Great job on the 9,000 subscribers! I usually only get the nuggets when they have the special 30 for 390yen promotion. They did have that pink shrimp sauce which wasn't very good. I usually just get the mustard sauce but will have to try the sour cream sauce.
Pink shrimp sauce? Doesn't sound very good either... But yeah, the sour cream sauce is good! Probably the closest thing we have to a ranch sauce. I think the last time i ordered nuggets was indeed during promotion like that too ;)
I think I would be disappointed with that spicy nugget ! Good thing that sauce was good. Holy Moly you already made another milestone !?! Wow Congratulations 👍. Going to eat sushi again I hope 👌. Thanks and have a great weekend 😀👋
I wish they would come out with nuggets like that here! Maybe even better sauces. The flat also looked great.. where is this in the states? Nowhere :( Great video!
I wonder if the nugget shapes are the same all over the world or not... They sometimes do floats here, but I don't usually bother with them... the unique coke flavour lured me in though ;)
Reminds me of italian soda and root beer float 😳 looks so gooooood! I love how you added different country currency and not just America usd 👌 thank you! I wonder if Japan use a lot of high fructose cyrup or maltose or maltodextrin or dextrose or corn syrup in their sauces like America. I named those list of ingredients because it affects those with gestational diabetes and diabetic people. Omg the nuggets look so red!! I guess it's just food coloring to make it look spicy???
I was actually discussing this with one of my friends yesterday. He doesn't have diabetes, but apparently he needs to limit his intake of sugar and was wondering this same thing. I doubt it is as bad as in the US, but still something to watch out for
Here we have bbq, curry, sour and sweet sauce, garlic, the mayo (it’s called McFeast sauce), melted cheese and maybe some more I’ve forgotten about. I live in Sweden btw... we get 1 sauce per 6 pieces of nugget and if you want more you have to pay for the sauce.
Hope they bring that sauce to the UK!! Love to try it. If they have any of those McDonald's seasoning packets for your fries that would be good in a giveaway. I know you have done it a few times but we never get that sort of thing over here!
Yes! I am always interested in including those when they have them ---light and easy to ship, and also fun to try. Seems like the last one they had came out at the end of 2017. Should be a new one soon, let's hope
I think spring (March/April) is the best because it is not too hot yet and you have a chance to see the sakura everywhere ---of course if you want to see more festivals then August is good too... but very hot
In the states McDonald's sauces Sweet and Sour. Honey Mustard. Chipotle Barbeque. Tangy Barbeque. Spicy Buffalo. Sweet Chili. Hot Mustard. Creamy Ranch
Wow! We have none of those. Must be fun to try each of them... Buffalo sounds good, but then again so do the bbq flavours, and well, all of them really... ;)
Nuggets looked good. That’s about the only thing I can eat from McDonald’s. That sandwich with the shrimp, that they’re bringing out looks good as well.
Oh yeah, they have the shrimp and the teriyaki burgers on their standard menu, but the twist this time is they are adding a sweet chili sauce to the shrimp burger and a white cheddar cheese to the teriyaki burger. The one in the middle has a garlic pepper sausage patty... I should just do them all at once before I miss my chance ;)
That spicy sauce looks a bit like the spicy sauce they have at Hungry Jack's (Australian Burger King). The HJ sauce is kinda citrusy and sorta pops in mouth, it's so popular that fans have deconstructed it and posted the recipe online for all.
We need to get spicy nuggets in the US but only if they're actually spicy, as far as the sauce distribution goes they give you one to three depending on how many nuggets you get but you can buy more for about $0.10 a piece
thats the mainreason, wasabi here,is more a meh. but also the wasabi karage looked that tasty... ,wanne take the chance and maybe get one to cook my own wasabi karage
I think Root Beer floats are the best. In Japan it's common that the ice cream is soft serve which actually sinks in liquids, so they need to float it on a layer of ice. Double 9K? Is that what I was at when I shot this?
Oh I didn’t know they came out 😂 I’m gonna have to try it. I love spicy foods. The korean noodle people do the challenge with. I bought some at the mall for ¥115 each cheap right? Well that noodle is not spicy 🌶 enough 😂 for me that is. But the drink looks like rootbeer float. I miss that!
Make sure to get the spicy sauce then, by themselves they are not really spicy at all... ;) But yeah, that's a good deal for the noodles... enjoy, and keep your eyes out for the 2x volcano ones
Critical Eats Japan I just had that nuggets with the spicy sauce and it wasn’t spicy but it was actually good 😂 oh yeah most definitely be watching out for the spicy x2 noodle
They'll flat out refuse to give you a second sauce? LOL Here in the states, they're usually free but, sometimes, you might have to pay a little bit for more. Either way, you can easily get extra sauces here.
Omg the sour cream and onion sauce sounds so good, I would like to try that. Maybe you could send me some of that if I were to win in your contest. Coke float with ginger and lemon sounds nice as well. Have a great weekend.
It was ---since we don't have anything ranch here, it was different, but close enough for me ;) I don't think I can get 9 of them, but I do have to figure out what my prizes will be and announce it soon
congrats. here you can ask for another sauce. you might get it for free or be charged. depends on the person. the sauces are honey, honey mustard, sweet & sour & bbq for sure. well here in canada. the float.. well floats are great. the ice cream is the greatest. orange floats are good too or root beer. thx for the review. no spicy mcnuggets here.
Orange float! Yes, that sounds like it would be great! I think they did a melon float here not long ago, I wonder if they have done the orange yet though. Root beer isn't even on the menu so I guess I won't hold my breath for that... ;)
Man I do love some Spicy nuggets. BK came out with ten for A buck fifty. I tried to order them but the lady tried to charge me the same for half I had to point to the poster. BK has gone down hill so badly. Wendy's had awesome spicy nuggets but the pretend they don't. Because if it isn't a promotion they don't want to cook them up . And they will even act that way when they are in promotion. Hope this comes state side.
Ten for 1.50? Wow! that is cheap! Once in a while they also have a promotion here, but I don't think it is ever that good or a deal. Doesn't Wendy's also have a nice spicy chicken sandwich? Now I gotta check the BK menu here and see if they have anything interesting... ;)
I Would say Wendy's had the best Spicy Chicken sandwich.(Fast food wise) If I don't get a burger I always get that. A good 2nd place is Definitely Chick-fil-A. although they stopped adding a spicy sauce to the spicy sandwiches. Oh well fiesta. MCDONALD'S came out with a spicy McChicken last year. But just made you want to get Wendy's sandwich instead.
Oh yeah, Chick fil A... I forgot about them, though I've never been ;) Just checked the BK menu here ---all they have at the moment is a 4-cheese Whopper... not so exciting
4 cheese Whopper.. yea that sounds weak. But tell me one thing...I'm dying to know. How did you not take Ken Domick to a Japanese steakhouse. I gotta know. Cheers though fun channel keep it up! I'm enjoying the hell out of it
What do you mean by Japanese steakhouse? If you mean eating Kobe beef, then obviously that is quite expensive. If you mean a sort of teppanyaki thing, that is mostly something popular outside Japan. The closest to that would be when he went to eat okonomiyaki in Hiroshima...
Mainly to escape from copyright music playing in the background of most restaurants but also other distractions in general and also some places frown upon someone whipping out a camera.
Paul your channel is on a whole new level and your reviews have never been better! My favorite Japan food reviewer by far! Cheers friend!

Wow! Those nuggets look sooo good. Sour cream and onion... yummm!!! The float looked good to. Congrats on 9K!!! :D Awesome vid as always!! :D
Thanks so much! It came pretty quick didn't it? ;)
Your welcome! 🤗 Yeah it did! Very happy for you!! 😊😄
Great review Paul! Congrats on 9K! Awesome! I guess I need to get a correct order and try the K.O sauce. Thanks for the mention - much appreciated 👍 keep it real 🤟
It's all about that sauce! Which was pretty tasty...
Nice review Paul. I just tried the spicy McNuggets with my son, but didn't make a video. Maybe we'll go back and try this. Not available in the states?

No! None of these are in the States!
@@mistiblu9133 We've had the spicy ones in my area for a while. At least a few years. Not sure if they're still currently available, though.
Now... I want nuggets~~~ Congratulations on 9k... ! You have really worked hard and moving up fast.... soon it will be 10k... and we will be here cheering You on!

Never had a floating coke ( checked the spelling twice this time haha) before, looks good... I need to see if they have it here somewhere.
Haha, that's right! That was a very amusing way to spell it ;) making your own float at home is super easy too if you can't find one elsewhere. Probably even better
That float sounds amazing. Why oh why can't we get stuff like that here! Congrats on over 9k subs!
You'd think it would be easy for them to pull off. Actually, if you made it at home yourself it'd probably be even better ;)
Congrats on 9k+!
Thanks!
Looks good!! Congrats on hitting the 9k subscribers milestone Paul!!!!
Thanks! Next step is the big one
That coke sounds good! Hey congrats on 9k!!!!
Thanks, and Good luck ;)
No wasabi mayo, quick call Eric..he had those travel size ones.
Haha, glad you caught that reference ---but seriously, wasabi mayo is really good and I know they have had a nugget sauce like that here before
Congrats, Paul, on 9K subs!! Wow, that was fast!
Thanks, yeah, it was!
Congratulations on the 9K man :D I have found out that generally fast food places don't really spice up their food too much.
They don't, but their advertising is misleading... ;)
Thanks for the vid! Grats on 9k! What are the typical nugget sauces in Japan? Here there's honey mustard, honey, BBQ, ranch, sweet and sour....maybe a few more....
I think we only have two: bbq and mustard sauce. I've heard that straight honey is good on nuggets, but not convinced until I try it
Congratulations on your 9,000 subscribers Paul!! The spicy McNugget looked yummy, as did the coke float! Your fast food restaurants have all the cool food(s)! Ours are so boring! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks! Is it a case that you see your items as boring because you have gotten used to them... As you know, items are always changing here ;)
That drink was a good idea on such a humid day! It sounds delicous. Those sauces are interesting, I would try them! Yes 9k!!!!!!!! Good review Paul!!!!!

You Lucky You 😋💗😂👌
You did it again...you made me hungry...I wished we had the sour cream and onion sauce, it looks so yummy!
I was surprised how good it was because I wasn't expecting much compared to the spicy one
Great job Paul, came over from Eric's and subscribed!

I was actually discussing this with one of my friends yesterday. He doesn't have diabetes, but apparently he needs to limit his intake of sugar and was wondering this same thing. I doubt it is as bad as in the US, but still something to watch out for
Both the sauces sound really good!
I was more excited about the spicy sauce, but yeah, the sour cream flavour was good on the other one too
Nice ! You got your hands on some too!! I just did a video reviewing these as well! Yummy but K.O might be going a little too far lol
Cool, I will check it out!
That coke float caught my interest, for give away more unique candies only in Japan.
I've tried to make a float at a selkf-serve soft cream place before and you definitely need that layer of ice to keep things afloat
Your great! Keep up the work!
Thanks!
I'm not too sure but I think they give one per 5 here... at least they sell them in units of 5. You have a nice selection of sauces there though!
Oh wow those spicy McNuggets look delicious 😍 I want to go to Japan so bad, what’s the best months of the year to go visit Paul?
I think spring (March/April) is the best because it is not too hot yet and you have a chance to see the sakura everywhere ---of course if you want to see more festivals then August is good too... but very hot
FitAngie! Nice to see you here in the comments. When are you coming to Japan?
Sour cream and onion sauce sounds good! I bet that would be good to dip fries into!
You're probably right ---the closest thing we have to ranch, I guess ;)
Hey paul which country are you supporting in the world cup ? Japan obviously!
You guessed it ;)
I would love to see a weird kitkat in the giveaway. Great vid btw.
Thanks for the suggestion ---I'm a little worried about meltage in the summer heat, but when things cool down I will definitely add some!
ahhh spicy, my favorite!! looks delicious
That description is a little deceptive... but at least the sauce lived up to its name!
Some of the McDonalds sauces would be very nice to try as part of 9k give away.
Hmm, not sure I want to order 45 more nuggets just to get 9 of these, but if they release the seasonings again, I'll make sure they make it in
9124 subs as I watch. Congratulations! Haven't had a McNugget in years lol.
Now 9145... Yikes! Better hurry up with this 9K giveaway before we hit 10K... ;) Good problem to have though
In the states McDonald's sauces
Sweet and Sour.
Honey Mustard.
Chipotle Barbeque.
Tangy Barbeque.
Spicy Buffalo.
Sweet Chili.
Hot Mustard.
Creamy Ranch
Wow! We have none of those. Must be fun to try each of them... Buffalo sounds good, but then again so do the bbq flavours, and well, all of them really... ;)
You are lucky.... we only have the top four where I live in IL... miss the sweet chili...
But do they have spicy chicken nuggets?
nope.. nope... Nope...
Ericsurf6 they did years ago but it wasn't a big hit so they did away with it cause they figured out it was the same as the spicy chicken sandwich
congrats on 9,000
Thanks!
very interesting .... and i am glad the ice cream machine works there it never works here in the states LOL
Haha! And when it does work they are cleaning it or they often shut it down well before closing...
Critical Eats Japan that would make for a good video😊
Coming up on 10 g subs, awesome amigo, big giveaway, wink, wink, lol, cheers!
Yeah, maybe a few months off, but gonna be
That spicy sauce looks a bit like the spicy sauce they have at Hungry Jack's (Australian Burger King).
The HJ sauce is kinda citrusy and sorta pops in mouth, it's so popular that fans have deconstructed it and posted the recipe online for all.
I've never tried it, but if it is similar, it is one of the good ones! And thanks for the tip ---I'll have to check out the recipe online
These nugs look incredible!
Nugs! Hehe, and yeah, the magic was all in the sauce though
I want to try that sauce
Well, the spicy one is kinda like mixing mayo and sriracha, and the other is kinda similar to ranch, I guess... Hope that helps ;)
We need to get spicy nuggets in the US but only if they're actually spicy, as far as the sauce distribution goes they give you one to three depending on how many nuggets you get but you can buy more for about $0.10 a piece
that's pretty cheap. I also noticed that they have a 15 piece set on the menu... but not sure how many sauces you can get. Hopefully three
Ahh mc chicken nuggets haven't had these in a while, besides homemade ones
Homemade is always better ---especially if you can make your own wasabi/mayo sauce! ;)
idea as 9k reward, the wasabi tube, that u used for the karage, and also with eric in the last video.regards
Thanks! To make your own wasabi/mayo at home ---I do like me some wasabi/mayo. Not sure everyone would agree
thats the mainreason, wasabi here,is more a meh. but also the wasabi karage looked that tasty... ,wanne take the chance and maybe get one to cook my own wasabi karage
Chips, pop, gum/hard candies!
Too hot for chocolate, so yeah
Nice job Paul!
Thanks!
LOVE FLOATS. MOM ALWAYS MADE US ORANGE FLOATS BUT I THINK A COKE FLOAT COULD BE GOOD TOO. PRETTY MUCH DOUBLE 9 K NOW ! GOOD JOB.
I think Root Beer floats are the best. In Japan it's common that the ice cream is soft serve which actually sinks in liquids, so they need to float it on a layer of ice. Double 9K? Is that what I was at when I shot this?
@@CriticalEatsJapan YEP. YOU ARE REALLY NAILING IT WITH THE SUBS IN A PRETTY SHORT TIME ! CONGRATS. SOON BE AT 20 K. :D
I was watching just now thinking after the video I’m gonna see how close he is to 9000 then you said it congratulations
Yeah, I think it actually turned before I had a chance to post this... thanks to Eric ;)
Hi Paul found my way here from your collaboration video with Ericsurf6.
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know! It was a blast to shoot that collab with Eric
I'd take some of that Sour Cream sauce!
It was totally better than I thought it was going to be
Oh I didn’t know they came out 😂 I’m gonna have to try it. I love spicy foods. The korean noodle people do the challenge with. I bought some at the mall for ¥115 each cheap right? Well that noodle is not spicy 🌶 enough 😂 for me that is. But the drink looks like rootbeer float. I miss that!

Critical Eats Japan I just had that nuggets with the spicy sauce and it wasn’t spicy but it was actually good 😂 oh yeah most definitely be watching out for the spicy x2 noodle
¥200 for 5 nuggets... At BK here in the US, we can buy 10 nuggets for the same price.
Wow, that is a deal. Sometimes they also have promotions here, but I can't quite remember how much they were last time
So many different foods in Japan! Our McDonald's doesn't have this foidz! 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Yeah, this was something new that stuck around for a little while. They just never seem to know how to do spicy quite right :(
They'll flat out refuse to give you a second sauce? LOL Here in the states, they're usually free but, sometimes, you might have to pay a little bit for more. Either way, you can easily get extra sauces here.
Ketchuip is usually free, but the sauces are a set amount
We really liked the hot chicken cheetos. Maybe that as part of the giveaway.
Awesome! Glad to hear! I would need to find 9 of them I guess, but haven't actually seen them around recently... I'll see what I can come up with
Maybe the Japanese are more into the nasal kind of spiciness (wasabi/mustard style) than the chili spiciness?
It is a different sort of thing, and maybe if they had to chose one, that might be the case
Nice one broski
Thanks, dude!
That looks great, that spicy sounds great here in texas spicy is super spicy lol,
I'm jealous ;)
I get the impression that the Japanese palate is just not very tolerant of spicy/hot food.
It is interesting ---and then there is Korea just next door ;)
And china do ultra hot like sezchuan ramen with chilli oil and flakes
Humid, on an island...no, lol!
Extra humid after the typhoon too
You pay $.25ea. for more than 2 per order! But sometimes they give u as much as u need chicken or not
I really wish McDonalds had spicy nuggets here. Or maybe I'm happy they don't. I'd be there way more often if they did.
To be honest they are not really spicy at all... the magic was in the sauces
congrats. here you can ask for another sauce. you might get it for free or be charged. depends on the person. the sauces are honey, honey mustard, sweet & sour & bbq for sure. well here in canada. the float.. well floats are great. the ice cream is the greatest. orange floats are good too or root beer. thx for the review. no spicy mcnuggets here.
Orange float! Yes, that sounds like it would be great! I think they did a melon float here not long ago, I wonder if they have done the orange yet though. Root beer isn't even on the menu so I guess I won't hold my breath for that... ;)
Not a bid McDonald’s fan, but the spicy with the spicy sauce look good,.
I was thinking the same thing ---but also very surprised by the sour cream sauce. Probably the closest I've had to anything ranch here in Japan
Sour cream, yum!
1:09 😂😂
5 nuggets for 200 yen? I pay like 6.49 for 6 here in Canada. :( What a ripoff!
Oh really? Wow! That is steep!
Ok... the sauce game i get it....ok
Turn ya down, lol, just charge you extra, duh, lol!
You would think
No honey or sweet and sour dips??? That is rough
Nope, just bbq and mustard... which I guess leaves room for many a promotional flavour
0:37 why did he cut the fist bump out? Too cringey? 😂😂
Dont forget to put me in the giveaway lol
You haven't missed it yet ---I will announce it in my next video
Yes the clear Coke plzzzzzz lol
Yep, you know how I do things here ;) glad we hit this while it is still around
Critical Eats Japan heck glad it's around would love to get one ☝️

Good choice ;)

Critical Eats Japan haha. Great vid! I subscribed!

Why for the most part do you always do your reviews in your car?
Mainly to escape from copyright music playing in the background of most restaurants but also other distractions in general and also some places frown upon someone whipping out a camera.
