Wow! Nice video. Pennshurt Asylum looks soo scary
Glad you liked it
Pennhurst is worth the trip! Go during October when they have an impressive haunted house exhibit. It's the best I've ever been to. And we have a lot in PA!
Edit: It’s very scary. Not only It’s nefarious history, but the undeniable presence of paranormal activity.
I went to centralia 10 years ago and it was a let down. I first heard about it because of the Silent Hill video games. The story is cooler than the place. We were just passing through so it wasn't a total waste of time but I wouldn't advise making a trip just to go there
Thats what we are saying
P
The story wasn’t based on anything that had to do with centralia
I was waiting to see you mention the City of Chester,PA. It is ranked as one of the most dangerous places in PA. Not to be confused with West Chester or Chester County which are both very desirable places to live and visit.
Thanks for the heads up.
I currently live in Scranton and there's more things to do than the Office. There's the Steamtown National Hartige Sight and Trolley Museum, The Steamtown Marketplace just to name a few places. You can put Allentown on your list because there's not much to do there. I think Centralia and Pennhurst Asylum would too be dangerous to go to.
Thanks for sharing
I stopped in Centralia a few years ago to walk the highway section before it was covered over. That was the only real reason to visit the town, and now its covered so its better to read about than to go see for yourself.
I’ve been to Centralia about 40 years ago, there were still people there, but it was pretty much a done place
Avoid all of them, unless you live there!
I’m from the Kennett Square area, and it’s not like this.
You repeated Centralia from part 1. The WTC clip wasn't cool man.
My hubby has family buried in Centralia. We went once, mainly to visit their graves. There was something mystical about the graveyard.
That would be a viable reason to go, to visit family laid there. I think the video is referring to those that would travel hours or more to visit with expectations from the Silent Hill movies, when in reality there's not a lot in the town to see anymore since the main attraction (Graffiti Highway) was covered over.
At 6:55ish you say "landing at number 2" while there is a clip of the plane hitting the World Trade Center. That is very bad taste. What happened that day shouldn't be used as a pun in a TH-cam video. Many people died that day. Show some respect.
You're wrong about Pennhurst Asylum! It's definitely worth visiting. Especially around Halloween. The haunted house exhibit is well-worth the trip!
You're correct about Kennet Square. It stinks, literally. It's not necessarily the landfills, which I've never smelled let alone noticed, but rather the mushroom houses themselves. The fertilizer is pig & cow poop. You can't bear to breathe when close to these places.
No one wants to live near a mushroom house. Furthermore, real estate is generally downtrodden and cheap. Probably because the ever-present stench is overwhelming and depressing.
the reason there are travelers to camden is the aquarium and couple concert venues
Well, there is a river that separates Philadelphia from Camden New Jersey. You don’t have to go across that bridge.
Kennett Square is grossly misrepresented! Since I lived there….
Kennett Square is right next to Longwood Gardens, surrounded by massive farms, near Chadds Ford Art Museum. I've been going to this are since the early 60s and have never seen a hint of landfills. This channel reminds me of so many others that seem to consist of misinterpretations of only online research. Leaving out South Philly is like skipping Adolf Hitler in a list of satanic dictators. Then the hordes of devastated abandoned mining areas. Just about every PA city has post-apocalyptic poor sections exploding with drugs and crime.
Other than that, this presenter seems to be Captain Obvious channeling Les Nessman.
Only Andy Dwyer would be impressed.
Chadd's Ford and Route 1. My grandparents lived near there, so I'm familiar. Longwood Gardens is beautiful at Christmas time and also the Battle of Brandywine Battlefield isn't too far from there either.
Man, don't lump us in with Jersey
Who the heck would want to "visit" Camden? That's like saying, "Hey! Let's go check out North East Wilmington!"
6 of them are Chester, and I didn’t know that Pithole was such a sh!thole
Lol
