Hope they fix arena soon. I ran into a guy with 5 steeds at 0-0. It was the closest I've came to dying irl in years.
I know that feeling bro... Yesterday faced Rogue at 0-0 with Twig on 4-th. My heart literally stopped. I guess good reason to not play Druid.

you realize that people with 5 steeds start at 0-0 just like everyone else, right? they're not automatically moved to 5 wins just because their deck is good...so yeah, many people faced good decks at 0-0...
It doesn't matter where a person is. No deck should have even 3 steeds let alone 5.
Why it can't be 5 steeds? It should be possible but VERY rare in my opinion. Like for example after hitting 3 or 4 times 1 bucket, next 2 have half a chance of occuring and than again next two only 25% of initiall chance. In addition slightly larger top 2 buckets so there are more varieties in pick ups. This and similar solutions would still allow hitting 5 steeds but that would be awfully low chance.
I think the game would be more interesting in Arena, if as soon as you have a card in your deck you stop getting offered the option of another card of the same type

Oatch came out , made 2 druid decks and got 2 UIs in both and 3 plagues in one and 4, then made a pally , got 3 steeds and then made a mage , got 3 Blizzards and 2 Flamestrikes , not fixed , even slightly

So i just drafted a deck - 3 spikeridge steeds, 1 silver sword, 4 legendary cards (Tarim, Nozdormu, Leeroy, Black Knight), 2 equalities, 2 dark convictions - what do you think?

Today i went 8/3 with no blizzard or flamestrike mage. I was expecting something like 1 or 2 wins and even wanted to retire with 1/1 cause i thought this deck was crap.
the hero power for mage is so strong that if u draft just good minions u can still do pretty decent

just went 11 wins w/ 2 steeds and 9 wins w/ 1 steed. also drew terribly my last game but not as bad as kripp lol
I just made 12 wins with 1 steed and four (yeah!) 5 or higher mana cards overall ;) Steed almost as a finisher as none game took more than 10 turns lol
Arena is now great fun - so many possibilities for great builds if you draft carefully and with idea what you are actually doing. But yeah most of the people just draft highest overwolf pickup and later complain that opponent had 1 steed more xddd It's more about chasing strong synergies rather than highrolling with steeds and this game is great example of that =D
i play on an iphone or mac so i can't use overwolf or any other arena assistance app or whatever, but watching kripp and trump arenas help out a lot.
Area is like life. Everyday is the same and people have more luck than you. #noluck

only in constructed, usually. but because all the people who are dicks in constructed heard that arena was broken, they can't fucking stay out. and they still act like dicks.
Divine Spirit really isn't that broken... it should just cost atleast 5 mana. A lot of times it isn't even playable.
