Looks like a 2 3/4” hull on your 3” bismuth might have worked. It would be close. You’re right about 3” hulls, they’re like chickens teeth to find. I know Bullet225ho has a 2 3/4” 1 oz non buffered bismuth load. I load a 7/8 oz 2 3/4”, same wad. I have the same hole in the center of my 28 ga 6 point crimps. Might buy an 8 point to close the hole. Useful info, thanks for sharing the video.
I have 1 ounce bismuth loads in 2 3/4 I had sent off and tested that came back safe and 1250fps. I prefer buffer in all of my bismuth loads. I was just hoping to teach some people interested in loading 3". In my opinion 2 3/4 is all you need. But you wont fit 1 ounce of 4s in a 2 3/4 ounce hull. That is where the 3" comes into play. The 8 point precrimp is a life changer!

Deep roll crimps will give you higher pressures than a fold crimp.
They most definitely will. Crazy how deep of a roll crimp comes from this data
where did you purchase the copper plated bismuth?

Not yet. I cant imagine needing any more than what you can fit in a 2 3/4" hull with TSS
You can adjust your wad stem down to seat it fully
Yes depending on the wad. The TPS wad is too deep for the wad stem to seat it fully with this press.
Put a 28 thin nitro card under the wad. It will raise your height and eliminate powder migration, and don’t raise any pressure.
