Something failed. Can’t find any parts for it specifically. I’m still a little disappointed. But I do have a smaller sharp CRT tv I can use to play games on.
That menu you accessed is just the regular user menu. The service menu is hidden behind a remote control code and allows you to access much more detailed settings like geometry correction and such.
Service menu can be accessed by unplugging the TV, holding the Menu button on the TV itself and plugging it back in. It will boot into the service menu. I had to do it this way when my remote failed. It only had enough life in it to switch the Input to Video
I just got this same model from the thrift shop for $10. Image is a little off-center through testing, but a modded Wii has software built-in to help combat this. Loving this TV so far
@chrisscott5339 oh ok fairs. Haven't got a crt at the moment but might get one soon. My grandma's one lasted over 20 years tho she got it in the late 90s and it packed up in 2017
@@vacuum_collector26 This one in the video lasted over 25 years… the picture finally started going out… i didn’t end up fixing it… was tempted to try… but then I had to move so I just junked it.
@@cartman1226 if you haven’t already… I’d make sure the contrast on these are all the way up. Then start kicking the brightness back slowly until you get it where you want it . Improves the black level. May be different though since your using an rf modulator. Won’t hurt it. They have brightness and focus knobs and other adjustments on the inside. So you’re really setting the black level when u mess with “Brightness” so the higher you have brightness…you’ll get more grey than black.
This is a good tv for 80s 90s games. I have this one :)
Unfortunately this tv just bit the dust today.
The Color is all messed up as if someone is holding a magnet to it. And shaking.

It was old. 26 year old tv. Lasted a long time for one that was used a lot over the years. I got it from my Great Aunt. They used it a lot.
Good news. I maybe can save it

Aw. Wish I knew what that was at the time. That tv is gone now unfortunately. It bit the dust.

Never did get around to fixing it. Just got rid of it.

My grandma had one had many memories with it until it broke
@@vacuum_collector26 Yeah… this one finally broke too unfortunately.
@@vacuum_collector26 I do have some other old sets left tho.

@@vacuum_collector26 This one was from 1996. Went bad towards the end of 2022 I remember.
Got this tv without a remote, not having much luck pairing a new remote. either not finding the right codes or my universal remote sucks lol
I got this one for free without the remote too. I got a dish remote to work on it. And an RCA remote. But I programmed that one to another TV now.
I hope you get it figured out. These are good. Reliable sets. I think this one is from 1996. Still has a good picture. Lol
It’s not washed out or anything.
@@chrisscott5339 picture and everything looks great just I’m forced to use one of them composite to rf adapters.

hey bro i cannot get my TV to switch to video. I have the same exact tv just no remote & im dying to play gamecube on the tv. Can you help me please
On these you have to at least get a universal remote. Even an old dish remote should work. No way to change the input without it.
049 is the code for most I think. I’m still using a dish Remote for this TV.
@@chrisscott5339 thank you so much bro
