Great video and yesterday went to my b&m and there didn't had any daleks sets but I look around and look behind some others toys and I found davros I could see he's head and so excited to have it I'll definitely try to find it hopefully soon 😊
To be fair you can't really have a go at CO for that. Making variants like this is nothing new and just good business sense to sell more units, lots of companies do it, that's how sales work. As for the "completionists", the only person making them buy them all is themselves. Case in point being myself, I didn't HAVE to buy both, but I did because I wanted them, if that means getting two of the same then that's the consequence of my decision as a buyer. And given how rare the original Resurrection Supreme is these days I'm certainly not going to complain about having two!
These look absolutely gorgeous and I’m really really hoping that I can find them in my local B&M shop. If not this week hopefully next week. My store is usually quite slow at getting them in but they did really well in stock for the sets last year so hopefully the same again this year. No, if you watch the episode one the drones has the lower half of it's mesh is silver, or possible it was all meant to be silver but was fitted too low during construction
Unfortunately it does seem like the distribution is very random, I've seen lots of people find loads of Davros' but no Daleks. B&M have allegedly had these in their warehouse for quite a few weeks now so how they're distributing them (contrary to popular belief CO don't control that) is anyones guess
I actually think the most accurate resurrection dalek colour scheme character have released is the grey dalek released in the revelation of the daleks set as that gey is a lot darker but matches the grey in resurrection a lot more then iver of those two colour schemes though I still like the weird blue version a lot and I wish I had the figure
I did look at that in comparison after recording and whilst it is closer I think it's a still a little too blue in it's hue but certainly closer than the original Resurrection ones
The Resurrection set is really nice, can't say the same for the Emperor, paint work on the Davros is terrible, I know it's quite cheap but even so CO could've spent time painting more detail.
Having now reviewed the Emperor Davors I personally don't think the paint issue is as bad as people are making it out to be. Of course it would have been nice to see but being able to get such a rare and sought after figure for a decent price these days seems like a fair trade for a little bit of a missing paint
@@CaptainJimiPie I also managed to get the Emperor, but sadly the cage on his head is way off and the microphone is up his nose, can't straighten them as they're made of soft bendy plastic.
Again unfortunately, that's the downside to using lighter weight materials, but again the cost of it being more available for a lower price is the trade off for that.
I think alot of people were expecting it to be more, and likely would have been had they put in more detail, but as I say for something people have wanted for so long, I think a few little issues is worth that
I can’t wait to get hold of this set! I’m planning on repainting the spare supreme as the silver variant from the unbound warrior trailer!
I'm tempted to pick up another to do some customs too!

I've been quite fortunate this time as often my B&M doesn't get much in either
