Peg had a great sense of satire and comedy. She could write for an empty radio studio and a live television audience and both kinds of sketches would be funny. When you talk about chemistry between two performers Peg and Alan had it.
Poor Alan Bunce, profusely sweating under those 1952 Kleig studio lights of which many were required to allow the image orthicon tube cameras enough light to register a decent picture.

We recently visited "Ten Chimneys" in Genosee Depot Wisconsin, The estate of Alfred Lunt & Lynn Fontaine. They were based in New York city for most of the year. It got me wondering if Peg ever hob nobbed with them.

I have only E & A segments, sent by collectors over the years. The full shows are part of Kate's archive at Boston U. They're quite protective. Sadly.
