Id be intrigued to hear you opinion on Rochester. I think he was representative of the racism prevalent, but also elevated the place of blacks, a little, by being in many ways Jack's equal, treating him no different than any other cast members. On the other hand, there were plenty of stereotypes. On the other other hand, stereotype jokes were their bread and butter.

Nothing compares to the banter between the two greatest comedians of all-time who unselfishly shared their talented contributions to the war effort in an attempt to make the entire world a better place, while reminding our troops what they were up against and that they were not alone in their fight . Light, innocent entertainment was especially essential during times of war. They both made countless trips abroad to insure the positive morale of the brave men and women who insured Americans freedom, while liberating the war torn regions of our planet. Very talented entertainers today deserve accolades for their sacrifice to contribute to this great cause and tradition, but no one will ever closely compare to Hope and Benny. Not to mention the countless entertainers who followed in their footsteps.

@@user-qg2uf8jp3h You can see Bob look off-stage several times during this performance. My guess is he's reading cards that are held up for him. However, if it so 'easy' why aren't the writers delivering the lines? Give Bob and Jack a little credit.
