Dog, you could upload this everyday to stay in a rhythm and I’d still listen! All your interviews and pranks are just as dope as this video. You’ll be back up in no time man!
@@LAHWF You’re right, it is a filler vid. Yet, a lot of us would still love if you posted this type of stuff. We get more of your personality which obviously people enjoy seeing. I started watching your pranks when I was younger but legit like these new style videos now that I’m older too.
Basketball has always been a great stress reliever for me. My brother and I have played and talked about life while playing since we were kids. Then when he moved out I’d shoot hoops alone for hours sometimes. This vid made me realize I need to get back into it
You should post vids like this weekly where you simply talk about new stuff going on in your life and things you’re trying to accomplish. The slow zoom was dope by the way lol
I watched through out the whole thing, man something about the rawness in these kind of videos that I love. Andrew keep thinking the way you’re thinking, it may be confusing now but what you’re doing is still so purely unique, I’m always excited to see where your journey takes you.
I think this might end up being played for kids in school one day. It sends a really good message. Three lessons learned from watching this: Sometimes you need to say the words out loud, just having them bounce around in your head isn't enough. Sometimes you just need a little fresh air. Sometimes you just need small, gradual progression towards a goal to get you moving (the baskets).
I feel like this was one of your best videos in a long time. As soon as it started I was hooked and I was just locked in the whole time. So peaceful but with an intensity that built throughout. Great idea!
I love this format. It's like you're there all alone and speaking your mind.. Yet you have people here too listen.. It's like a movie scene but real life.. Ah idk it's so hard to explain but there's something unique about this video
Cinematographically simple but beautiful. The shot is really well framed and the slow zoom was perfect for the one take, stream-of-consciousness nature of the vid. Also, just something I've picked up from my own therapy.. your self-talk is really important to shaping your mindset day-to-day. I know you might've felt in a rut when filming this, but even simple things like when you start describing your "funk" around 6:25, I don't think it's fair to yourself to say you're gonna inevitably fall right back where you started. As some who's recently watched you(r TH-cam side at least) grow many years in a couple of days, I can genuinely say you've grown immensely and made a lot of progress. Even this departure from LA is a huge sign of maturity and development. Your honesty, vulnerability, and openness has really stood out to me in so many of your videos, and if nothing else, I hope you never lose that element to your art. I won't call it content lol. As a side note, have you seen Bo Burnham's "Inside" yet? I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts on it, but if not I even just recommend it for you as something I think you might resonate with. It really spoke to me. Alright thanks and sorry for the long comment lol but hope you get to read it.
I used to do this when I was growing up. Exactly like this. Just shooting over and over and over again, sometimes for hours. Just lazily walking back and forth shooting while thinking. It is very relaxing. Makes me wish I could do this again but there aren't any hoops around here.
I like this. It’s comforting listening to you talk about your insecurities and everything else. It’s nice. This is like listening to a good audiobook. I just wish it was longer. Also I noticed immediately that this video was in 4K. It looks really good.
You definitely put that new net on that rim. Salute to you. Shooting hoops or anything that can take you out of your thoughts is why exercise is so good for us. 🍻
This is actually a pretty dope video format, talking while shooting hoops, id watch this on a regular if you consider making these as a type of podcasty vids, was very chill and satisfying to watch
I love all of your videos man, watching them has helped me a lot in my life. I've been an awkward shy person since day one and never really had anybody to look up to till if ound your channel. Always thought it was a weakness to be a little quirky, and yea man, thanks for everything. I hope you're doing alright, I'm sure you're going to be alright; sometimes you have to go through the shit and sometimes thats the best way to learn a lesson.
I love basketball and for someone who is in their early twenties and kinda in a...wtf do I do now state, this is genuinely one of the most relatable videos I’ve ever seen. Many times I just go to the court cuz I don’t have anything else to do and I just shoot for hours and hours and hours. Love man, hope you figure it out.
Bro it’s wild you made this because I’ve been playing basketball since age 4 and was good and I’m 22 now and still go shoot hoops for mental health it’s such a great escape and a great workout it’s cool someone who isn’t totally into ball goes to shooting hoops for similar reasons. So relaxing and satisfying hearing a ball drop in the net
I love your videos, you’ve been my favourite TH-camr since the early pranks because your videos are so real and the upload schedule is so unpredictable i never get bored of watching them haha. ♥︎
thanks for being so open about this shit andrew. i'm sure almost all of us can relate, i know i certainly can. constanly falling in and out of funks and doubting myself. you're not alone and you'll get out of it. keep going dude
Before Covid, I used to go shoot hoops at sunrise before work. Excellent way to wake up. They parks department took the hoops away due to Covid restrictions. I will go back once the hoops come back!
Awesome video man. Real stuff, I relate so much to the stuff you talked about throughout the entire video. Feels like it’s me talking. I’m 26. Much love bro
I love to shoot hoops and reflect on things. One of my favorite activities. It's a really good workout, too - even just casually shooting by myself, I get 15+ strain on my Whoop strap.
Lol man...the realist TH-camr right here. It's like...so weird but so good lol. I feel like you have helped me out a lot over the years. Sometimes I wonder if you are actually super confident and just play this soft spoken character on your channel to make us people feel like we aren't so weird lol.
Talks with big brother Andrew. He ain't perfect, also gets lost, speaks his mind, chill af, and 100% relatable. Real af. Human af. Btw that outfit is too fucking fire....chill tf out.
Hey! Because of my attentionspan i can't follow through on this video, but i just want to say that most of your soscial experiment videos are top of the line and slowly pushing the line, very hilarious at times. I would never dare to put myself out there like you do, so you are doing something most people do not, that's why it's interesting to watch what you capture on camera. keep it up Andrew hales, Love from Norway.
appreciate the upload, you're damn right - anything is better than nothing. you literally are the content, bro. may not be easy to see, but even stuff like this is solid. keep it up, champ - YOU ARE THE RHYTHM
Hey man, it always feels peaceful watching these chilling random activities of yours. Hope you can get back on track, getting this channel to be trending again. Keep safe.
I'd love it if you make a video, where you talk about anything while driving, have two cameras: one focused on the road and the wheel and other on you.
You need to put your fingers on the seam every time you shoot so that your ball will spin the same way every time. It becomes natural after a while and the ball will just slip into your hand the right way.
i ❤️ hot moms too. thanks for sharing with us andrew. i’ve wanted to make this sort of video / post as well, it’s just so hard to admit feeling lost. rooting for you, clarity will come. you’ve got this.

Sick idea

Kinda like driving in cars with comedians
Shootin’ the shit

My new fav video. So relaxing, calming, relatable
I've loved all these "new" videos you've been putting out, there's a lack of genuine, raw, unfiltered content out there.
Yes. Authenticity is almost taboo these days
I love just shooting hoops, it’s so therapeutic. And nothing like the feeling of swishing your shot and going on a hot streak!
