SEAN INGRAM How have recent elections been working out for you? Protestants/Loyalists power and sphere of influence is steadily shrinking. Sinn Fein practically own west Belfast and in recent elections the SDLP’s Clare Hanna took south while SF’s own John Finucane sent the DUP’s pissy little bitch boy Nigel Dodds packing in North Belfast. Irish Republicans now march through the City Centre and SF are continuing to gain power in the Free State. Soon enough Catholics/Nationalists will be the majority in the Six Counties. And the brits have always said that when a majority of the people (NOT a majority of the UNIONISTS - but a simple majority of people) vote to reunite with the Free State - that they won’t stop them. And in exit polls during recent Free State elections - a definite majority said they would like to see a vote on reunification take place in 5-10 years. The brits only held on to the Six Counties as long as unionists served a purpose / could help the tories hold on to power. It’s getting to the point that their votes won’t make a bloody bit of difference. And the brits are sick of dealing with them. They will gladly discard them and throw them into a United Ireland so fast it will make their heads spin. So if unionists can’t accept the fact that there WILL be a United Ireland - most likely sooner rather than later - perhaps they should head back across the water to merry old england if they’re still hell bent on being “british”.
