My PC Setup:
Ryzen 3800, RTX 3080, 32Gb Ram.
Best end game Armor =unisg Nosorog, 3 starting belt slots (can be upgraded to 5), with Spartan helmet, with 1 volat emerald, 2 full empty, 1 snowflake and a goldfish, you can switch goldfish out for moon between 9 to 6 so that you never have to sleep if don't wanna. You get fire immunity, 99% shock immunity, max out ballistics and rupture, decent explosion and impact res., 92% rad resistance. After that only time I got one shotted was when a armored vehicle exploded. Oh and psy immunity. But remember some anomolies like fireball anomalies and electric current near shot wires deals raw damage which will still do damage.
Redline jacket OP... 130% movesspeed... I put it on when I have a bunch of deliveries to do. You outrun every mutant and stalkers can barely shoot you

Yeah, seriously - Renegade Start with Redline Jacket was *so* much fun. It's incredibly hard to acquire gear/stock meaningful ammunition in the beginning, so I was incredibly pleased with finding a sledgehammer in like the first half hour.
Redline Jacket + Melee is a killer combination, can actually dodge bloodsuckers and whack em with a sledge.
Mercenary Ace Scientific Suit is the best non exo suit in the game - always look out for this one. 3 starting belt slots and I think you can upgrade to 4-5 belt slots, making it the overall best for diving into anomaly fields while also being able to engage in firefights. This does get beat out by any type of Nosorog with upgraded 5 belt slots, you can add volat/compass/full empty and any other type of resistances you need to fully maximize your resistances. Can go into any firefight and literally eat bullets even on Hard/Survivalist.
Ony my first loner playthrough, i found the ace suit super early in the game when i ran into some mercs, and i disassembled it for the parts because I never played the game before and I thought if i was getting this dropped already then it must be garbage haha. Ended up finding another by end game, but by that time I already had a nosorog.
what is the nosorog that has 5 slots?
Lol I just found this suit yesterday, random group of mercs attacked me in cordon and one of them had it on them. It really helped me through radar and the brain scorcher mission. I managed to pull a Monolith Nosorog from all of that so I'll probably switch over but keep the suit for anomaly hunting. Or my go to suit when I'm running around friendly territory so I'm not burning through batteries >
And it's so light too. only 6kg iirc. That's like a third of the weight of other heavy armors.

Thanks for the kind words Bandanner. Unfortunate timing, I've rewritten the maintenance stuff last evening, not sure of for the better or worse. I also made a mistake with the cost breakdown, fixed it now.
Still working on everything, it's more than I anticipated.

Not at all! And thank you so much for all your hard work on this, people should be able to follow the link to your spreadsheet I think its better people look themselves. I had assumed it would undergo gradual changes regardless.
Anything that helps with repair stuff is good, not everyone wants a video on that, some people like to read a guide/plan so its great that you are updating it.

@@Bandanner Thanks, gradual updates and additions are planned. Got no ambitions to monetise the document in any shape or form. I'd rather have someone come out of the bushes and offer me some lessons how to improve the document.
I have also double checked the nosorog exo- no typo, it is a 74 BR class armor.

I usually aim for the Ecologist Proto-Exoskeleton. Yes there are stronger ones statwise, but this suit is quite powerful and versatile overall and every faction likes you. They can have 5 belt slots and you can carry the biggest backpack with the proto-one I think. This means you can go out for very long tours into the wilderness and find friendly factions everywhere where you can rest, stock up, stash loot or sell whatever expensive gear you find. You can haul a lot of stuff with you. If you use those belt slots for some carry weight artifacts, you can clear out a Monolith base and carry 20 guns and more with you home. lol
Bcs every faction likes you, you can silently take out any "friendly" patrol from close behind and take their gear. If they fight back, yeah good luck, you are in a proto-exoskeleton lol. It is strong enough to be almost immune to everything weaker than a chimera. To me, it is the perfect allrounder for the late game. Spartan Helmet of course.

I'm sure someone else already made a comment about this but did you notice you are missing a helmet? It's called the Sphere-08 helmet. Ballistic res 24% BR class 31 burn res 2% electrical res 3% chemical res 7% ext. rad. res 25% psychic res 9% rupture res 3% explosive res 9% move speed 100% cost 22,440 weight 4.18kg
I think it is missing but as I noted in the video it's not my list sadly, it's made by a nice fella over on the official discord, I think you can leave a note for him on the actual google docs sheet so he can add it :)
I'm looking forward to the weapon video, it'll be nice to get an idea of where I am weapon wise. I just wish some of the lower tier advanced weapons would require an army rifle kit instead so you're more likely to use them. By the time I found expert tools I had several weapons that were better than a lot of the advanced weapons I had been saving that I got early on from the military. =/
Honestly speaking, a lot of the weapons of the same type have very similar stats, people tend to have a specific preference but yeah it's not as cut and dry as the top armour is the top armour.
Also the list on the discord is not up to date its a wonderful tool but its mostly a general guide.
What exactly is the difference between BR and ballistics?
I see some armors have high BR but low ballistics, and vice versa. PC
Would a high BR with low ballistics armor be better than one with the opposite stats?
If you did not find an answer yet (sorry for the late response), BR is what the armour will stop and ballistics is the damage reduction.
All bullets have a BR, if my Armour is BR 50 and Ballistics 10% and someone shoots me with a BR 49 bullet, I will take take no damage. BUT eventually my armour will break and I will take damage.
If they shoot me with a BR 60 bullet it will penetrate my armour, BUT the armour will absorb 10% of the damage.
This is how I understand it.

Hello i don t know why i have armors on my playtrought, they have very low radiation resist compared to the spreadsheet or even on your playtrought i am following. when i press ctrl on my load bearing "sunset tactical suit" it says it has only 5% resist on radiation all the rest is correct. Do you know what s happening to me?
I am afraid I do not, it could be a change in the latest version which I have not updated to. There is a new armour and weapon list linked on the official discord for the new version.
I suggest asking over on the official gamma discord if you are having continued issues. :)

my ability to give the dude in rookie village the uniforms for trade is gone, he just confirms he does it but he doesnt take the unifrom or money lol

I think he only takes certain ones, for example you can't trade heavy armors from other factions. Only light, medium, armored scientific medium, heavy exosuit (like the heavy armor one not the actual exosuit) and any exosuit. But I noticed I couldn't trade a Monolith heavy exosuit (I'm spacing on its name but it's the best version), so maybe you can only trade proto exos to him. Oh it was the nozorog, and here at the end of the video I see the list and the loners don't have the equivalent versions so that's why you can't trade it. (I should have waited till after to comment lol)

It would be really nice to have a database of armor components you need to repair an armor.
I found a nice suit for early game in a stash, Loner "Drought" suit I believe, but it is really hard to memorize what components I need to fix it. I hate when I spend my hard earned cash on a piece of carbon fiber only to find out, I need a slightly different kind. Same thing for helmets and weapons.
I think everyone has been there. I have a pad of paper next to me and write down what I need so I can avoid making the mistake :)

So as I understand it, ballistic % is the reduction of damage from bullets.
Where the BR decides if the bullet can be stopped or not.
I think each bullet has a BR class (i am away from my pc so can't double check).
This is exremely helpful! Thank you so much. Can you tell me which armour you get from cold when finishing the clear sky "kill the mercenary" quest line? How does it compared to the sunrise stalker suit you could get from the beginning (500 points)?
Fairly sure its the CS1 body armour, you can check it out in the spread sheet to compare them :)
My opinion is that anything but radiation resistance is redundant. It is possible to avoid taking damage from anomalys, but one can not escape radiation. And it is sad because there are so many options for each faction. Yet, if we dig in to it we will find out that they are all the same sets of armor, that are just named differently.
How do I recharge exosuit
You need the big military batteries (big square ones with glowing blue) which you right click on and choose to charge the suit.
3 playthroughs in gamma and still no Nosorog :(

what is br class?
BR class is the class of bullet that armour can stop, (eventually armour breaks and it starts doing damage). So all bullets have a BR class in their details, if you get shot by a BR 20 bullet but have BR50 armour then it will stop the bullet.
However if they shoot you enough times eventually your armour breaks and they can damage you.
This is how I understand it.
