Her ego is out of control and shouldn’t have been chosen for such a serious project. She’s way too used to getting her way and now we see her for what she truly is.
Regardless of whether Justin wins the lawsuit, the NYT’s reputation is tarnished in many people’s eyes after this. The writers were clearly fed the narrative from Blake Lively’s camp and showed zero journalistic integrity by removing context and making no effort to get a balanced perspective.
Many folk have tried to sue the NYT over the years and failed and it's not tarnished them yet and he was an actor no one even knows. So I don't think it'll affect them at all. Also, you've clearly not read his lawsuit. He added no more context and didn't add context to all the stuff she complained about in her suit.
@@emmajp_9385 kinda does even Sarah Palin didn't win against them but her fans liked her more for trying. And I'm sure many don't know Blake either. Justin is z list though. Don't think any of his 6 fans cared for the times anyway.
@@stephtastrophe Justin is definitely not a "Z list" celebrity. He wouldn't have been able to obtain the rights of a best-selling book and direct a Sony blockbuster otherwise. They would've passed him up for someone else because many come calling for the rights of successful books.
@@stephtastrophe He definitely added more context, are you a Blake bot lol?! So all the texts (at least 6 that I can recall) where he and his team are saying "we're not planting stories", "we don't use bots", "this is all happening organically based on her own interviews going viral", etc....what about those texts being ignored by the Times...and by you? There is also ZERO proof that they did "bury" her, only that someone says we CAN bury her. Where is the proof of an ACTION taken to do so?
Looks like they are going to lose the lawsuit then because they definitely showed malice by leaving the emoji out and leaving out other emails that provided the correct context
Sorry but the cherry picking DOES SHOW MALICE. Why leave out info that shows Lively was lying? ie she ASKED him to come to where she was while she was pumping... he did not show up there to bother her. That is just one of many things they conveniently left out.

They probably don’t care about winning the NYT lawsuit, it’s just the first rung of the ladder before their actual lawsuits against Lively, Reynolds, Stephanie, Leslie etc.
Telling him he has 14 hours to respond then publishing it in 12 hours sounds malicious to me. It definitely shows a motive to go with a biased narrative.
@ZenTheory tho still hard to rule out the NYT writers genuinely believing Lively side of the story. Since so many have made Amber Heard comparisons, should point out this other similarity. Johnny Depp did sue the Sun, a UK Outlet, for a piece siding with Heard over Depp. However, Depp lost his lawsuit against the Sun, tho due to UK Defamation Laws having a lower standard than American Laws, in theory Depp could have a chance winning that lawsuit. Also it should be noted that Depp later on won his Lawsuit against Heard under American Law. The NYT is an American Outlet, thus litigation would be under American Law, thus Baldoni would have a have a harder time winning a Defamation Lawsuit when compared to Depp's Lawsuit against the Sun. So if Baldoni was Defamed, time and money would be better spent just suing Lively, if anyone would have Actual Malice on any provable level, it would specifically be Lively over anyone else, she was the one who first made those accusations and would have full knowledge on how truthful she was. A good thing about the Actual Malice Standard is that it narrows down to the people specifically responsible for the defamation without much collateral. Anyhow, the main reason why American Defamation Laws go by such a high standard is because Freedom of Speech and the Press is considered a Fundamental Right, and there is a concern that Litigation can be Abused for Censorship, and going by so many cases in other countries like the UK there is a strong point there. Also, maybe Litigation over the spread of information shouldn't be normalized, considering there are politicians going after others just because they got a poll wrong.
If Depp had a case and won, clearly this one has a chance. In the end, this is a lost case for Blake. Her attitudes are her own doing and people judge based on that.
I'm guessing after loosing this battle, Ryan Reynolds could write and direct a movie called, 'IT ENDS WITH HER'. Starring Blake Lively as Bully Bloom, Hugh Jackman as Justin Baldoni. #BoxOfficeHit
I hope Justin B win all his lawsuits against this abuse of power specially from the Reynolds
