This is interesting because I remember taking a college course in animation (mainly After Effects) and this game was brought up as an example. I was wondering when this game would come out or what it was even about. And it even helped to teach us about what goes into character rigging.
I backed this game on kickstarter years ago and I currently have it on PC and the Switch. I really hope it's not going to be one of those cases where they make a chapter 1 and leave it at that. I hate it when indie games do that!
Fun story: one of the channels I follow streamed the whole game and read the dialogue. Then 1 month later, the voice acting update came lol anyways yeah I look forward to the sequel, played this on Apple Arcade and got it on sale for steam
I finally picked up this game thanks to your review, so thanks for saying to wait for a sale, as I got it for around 4 dollars, which I think was fair for the very limited amount of puzzles the creators used.

Yeah. I hate it even more when games from big name developers do that (I'm looking at you, Golden Sun).
I read they are currently working on something related to Jenny LeClue. So hopefully it will the sequel everyone is waiting for :)
Game had marvelous art and voice acting. Did wish it was a standalone game though (and art was easier to collect).
what is this monkey island game i keep hearing getting mentioned about in every point and click mystery game? is it on the switch?

What will be your next Nintendo Switch review, Wiiviewr?
Yes, i'm going to check it out.
I know that these type of games are a dimes in a dozen on the Eshop but this game made me feel like I was playing a 2D Uncharted /Tomb Raider. X3
Why Detectivû instead of Detective?
That title just threw me off!
Because it rhymes. The whole game's humor is kind of like that, it's rather cute
I just beat it! It was fun!
I forgot you liked point and click games wish I recommended Tangle Tower when it was on sale
IMO this review discusses too many story details. The same points could have been made without mentioning those specifics.
Agree very poor imo
