Great discussion.... I love these men of God. Soli Deo Gloria. Greetings from Ghana 🇬🇭🔥. Keep up the good work. And may the faithful living sovereign God continue to preserve you. Much love.
My church closed for an entire year. I asked several times for them to open. I should've done so even stronger than I did. I even let them know about the pastors in Canada who were arrested for keeping their churches open. They did not agree with their stand. I was accused of not taking the virus seriously, and "XYZ number of people have died", and they were working with doctors/health professionals to keep everyone safe. How could I possibly compete with that? When they finally reopened, unmasked people were not allowed. I couldn't see or breathe well with them. As time went on, I learned how completely ineffective they were and I could not bear to lie. I could not bear to see children muzzled - children I used to babysit! It was all unbearable to me. I couldn't force myself to lie and say a mask protects anyone. And so, I was shut out for 1 week short of another year. Chicago finally ended the mask mandates and they finally allowed unmasked. But how could I go back and pretend nothing had ever happened? How could I walk in there after 2 years, knowing that the week before, I would not have been welcome? As far as I've seen, there's been no change of view on any of it. When/if Chicago starts the masking again or asks them to close again, it will be the same thing. They cancelled an in-person Christmas service because they city was fear mongering again about "cases." I begged them not to, even though I wasn't welcome without a mask! As far as I know, there's been no change of mind from March 2020. I've been mostly alone for 2 years. I have lost everything & everyone. I'm only now coming out of the shock and numbness. I have cried so much the past 2 years. I'm truly at the end of my rope.
The spineless attitude of many churches has been the biggest disappointment of this pandemic. My own church was exactly the same. I am personally quite vulnerable to respiratory viruses but I never expected my fellow Christians to wear a mask in case they gave me the flu. Pointing this out to them has made no difference. We did our best to gather together a small group of like minded people and do "church at home" but by the end of the lockdown I couldn't even bear to watch the services, seeing everyone obediently muzzled, knowing it was a lie and that many of them secretly disagreed. I honestly thought at the beginning that Christians would be the ones taking risks to help people, or meeting in the fields to worship, like the Covenanters. So sorry you've had such a hard time.
Early on I could understand this, but my church kept up with insane masking rules long after we knew the virus mostly affected the elderly and masks were useless. You had to wear a mask to go to your seat and then you could take it off. You had to put it on to exit the church. Guess the virus is not active when you are seated.
@@janethompson4019 "obediently muzzled"? JC is supposed to the shepherd and you folks are his flock. Christianity is all about "obedience". Masks work. That's why there was almost no flu outbreaks during the pandemic. That's why doctors and nurses have worn them for decades. God you people are dense.
What I appreciate about these conversations, especially, is that when I'm tempted to falter and think that perhaps things aren't quite so bad, these men bring me back around to reality and help instill in me a new energy to look out for my future progeny. I must be able to leave them something useful and powerful before I am removed from this world. I think I may be becoming postmil.

My father saw this stuff happening in the 80s. But Christians were content to sit quietly and live in the wealth of our country because we weren’t being persecuted. To Doug's comments about "No you can't do that, you're five..." Then the adult would just shrug and say something like "Huh, ok" then leave like it was no big deal. It seemed so innocent watching it then... now, not so much.

If you agree these gentlemen are correct, I highly recommend reading "Live Not by Lies: A Manual for Christian Dissidents," by Rod Dreher. He goes into great detail of what we are up against, what to expect if the progressives get their way, and how the key to success is with the family and the church. The book applies to everyone, regardless of faith. There is wisdom in here even for those who don't believe at all. Like this discussion, just straight forward, honest truth.
T implies there is one that can go to another. So there must be identified starting points- something that group is currently trying to say doesn’t exist.
So much yes! Kuyper, Wilson, and White are on point with where we should be going and what we must do. We must carry the gospel forward on every front, stand boldly against the giants and dragons, equip the next and future generations to build Christ’s Kingdom, and submit everything and completely to our LORD King Jesus.
Unfortuantly, they are well spoken but wrong. If the world goes on for 1 more genertion, as is, there will not be a human left for which Christ came to save. All will be 1/2 breeds as in the days of Noah. Christ came to redeem human sinners, not monstrosities. Satan does not win, Christ does. Isreal is the super sign here. Let's not be blind here, but open our eyes to reality while there is yet time.

Yes, you're right. Are you sure no one saw this horror coming? I mean, I saw it coming for a long time, and I'm a nobody. Is there a place to go to raise kids so that they will come back to their home country and build after implosion? My main prayer for the U.S. is asking that God will continue to give us the freedom to teach our children and the freedom to worship Him. Worship and passing on the truth to generations as He commands.
Well gentlemen, excellent as always. I will always be historical premil, but I believe that we fight every single hour of every single day until our Lord returns. If hiding is your style, you should be a pietist and a dispensationalist. If they are right, we all still go to heaven, I'll just have a few more bruises than them. Keep speaking truth.
I will take the engaged Pilgrim's gospel, not the reconstructionist/theonomist/postmillennial gospel. Hebrews 11.13-16. "our forefathers killed their dragons"? also 33:00 "extended period of darkness"? probably 95% (or more) of the world's population is unregenerate consisting of Islam/Hinduism/Bhuddism (not to mention Catholicism, pseudo-Christian cults, animism, secularism, atheism etc). We are in the "present evil age" - it has always been dark. Consequently, Van Til would direct you to Vos, Bavinck, and the Reformed Confessions (all futurist/Amillennialism). The second Helvetic Confession refers to "postmill" eschatology as "Jewish Dreams" because of its geo-physical understanding the kingdom which results in a "third age" which is sub-eschatological and a third category simply not taught by Jesus and the apostles (they had a two-age structure- all "realized eschatology" is redemptive via union with Christ and not increasing but only awaits the consummation). As Vos put it "The chief end for which Israel had been created was not to teach the world lessons in political economy, but in the midst of a world of paganism to teach true religion, even at the sacrifice of much secular propaganda and advantage. (Biblical Theology: Old and New Testaments (Eugene, OR: Wipf & Stock Publishers, 2003), 125. It is not the kingdom of God via political-rationalism that is emerging, but the kingdom of antichrist via a oneist world system which only Christ will destroy at His glorious coming (2 Th. 2.4-12). Stay faithful, His "reward' comes with Him!
I agree 100% of what James White said about Secularism, its the worst thing ever, how can you teach people that life has no meaning and were nothing more then just bugs on a ball of rock in space and there's no divine creator or afterlife? Like what I say to every Atheist that I meet: "That's a very depressing view on life, why would you want to believe that?"
How come is an educated gentleman with degrees and whose first language is English is keep saying "Jeff and I?" "Jeff and me" is the correct form at 1:16
I noticed at 22:47 that Doug mentions the sexual revolution of the 1960, but a side note this is when start of a multiplicity of supposedly new Bible translations start to be made to what correct for error. Error in what the Holy Bible that was used in most if not all churches prior to this time new called the KJV.
So between Apologia and Canon and add in a few more like minded ministries and you could easily get over a million voices that if a coalition was formed and with like minded intent, couldn't we by the grace of God and through the Lord in us, begin to exercise change? Its almost like we have hundreds of generals, but none of them are working together to effect what is needed. Don't get me wrong, Apologia and Canon are making a difference, but together and then gathering others under one unified banner, could perhaps make a much larger impact.
No matter how many evangelical coalitions someone wants to form, they're not going to get the results they want because they're disagreeing with God's prophecies.
Doug and James are always gems to listen to. Edit: never knew that James is a postmill! Here's his "coming out sermon" th-cam.com/video/KlS4vmHgtWA/w-d-xo.html
What a breath of fresh air. I came here after listening to John Piper discuss the relationship between God’s joy and God’s sovereignty (time I will never get back…).
@@littleboots9800 Glad to be a confessional Lutheran, we only teach one view (which is the biblical view which I might add) Amillennialism. There is no other accepted position in confessional Lutheranism. There is no calvinism vs. arminianism because Lutherans are neither, no Premill., vs. postmill. etc. none of that drama. I do not think it is really all that confusing. When will we rise? Well, the Bible tells us, on the last day, when will Lazarus rise? Again, Jesus tells us on the last day. It is really that simple. No charts, no crazy maps, no flow charts, no scripture twisting, no sensationalizing the end times. You have this age, which was ushered in by the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the last day, which everyone else will rise. Joh 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Postmillennialism, is not as problematic as the various teaching of Premillennialism, it’s still wrong. Dispensationalism is a humanly contrived system that has been imposed on the Bible. Millennialism is not a minor error. As with all errors, it ultimately undermines Christ and his gospel. Millennialism has an entirely false sense of history. It makes the physical nation of Israel, not the church, the center of history.
Postmillenialism is an incorrect view of eschatology, virtually unheard of until the 18th century. Amillenialism makes sense of all the Biblical data, and avoids the tensions the postmillenial view foists upon the Biblical texts.

He goes into great detail of what we are up against, what to expect if the progressives get their way, and how the key to success is with the family and the church. The book applies to everyone, regardless of faith. There is wisdom in here even for those who don't believe at all. Like this discussion, just straight forward, honest truth.
EXCELLENT book, I agree!
On my channel, I interviewed Pr. Doug and I must say that he is a good teacher of the word of God.
The alphabet people are in for a big surprise when Jesus comes back for his rainbow!!
- That's good ^^^
We'll be extinct before
I'm here!!! Oh yeah!!
Dual sweatervests mean wisdom and discernment times 2, and as far as I'm concerned a theological Grand Slam.
Yes sir
FACT CHECK 4:23 there ARE cliffs in Kansas! Maybe not in the middle of Kansas, where Doug says they were, but northwest Kansas 😜
i'm just going to disagree with, "now that everyone sees that it's here..."
james, mr. white, they still don't.

The “B” in LGBTQ+ is evidence of only two genders 😂😂
T implies there is one that can go to another. So there must be identified starting points- something that group is currently trying to say doesn’t exist.
So much yes! Kuyper, Wilson, and White are on point with where we should be going and what we must do. We must carry the gospel forward on every front, stand boldly against the giants and dragons, equip the next and future generations to build Christ’s Kingdom, and submit everything and completely to our LORD King Jesus.
EXCELLENT BUT WAY TO SHORT! God bless you both, brothers.
be CAREFUL making Zelensky a hero
Does anyone here know of churches in the North Atlanta area that would generally agree with Wilson and White?
Yes the Post Mill Gospel is way different than the Scofield Reference Gospel.
@@davidkunze2770 ok so don’t plan a retirement, don’t get life insurance, don’t have children, don’t buy property, don’t start businesses.. goodness it’s all about to go up in flames right?
Scofield's descendents seem to have a pacifist - don't fight, escapist - saved only to go to heaven, theology. The Gospel is called "The Gospel of the kingdom of God" in Mark 1.
@@inlonging most raptureists (escapists) don’t really live like they really believe the world is ending when it comes to important things like that. It’s ultimately just an excuse to do nothing and watch whole generations go to hell because they hope that the end will come soon.
@@michaelclark2458 I always imagined if one did believe the world was about to end, evangelism would be of the utmost importance, like you would literally be on the street talking to everyone. But I don’t even see that prioritized.
The only thing I didn't like about this new installation after however long is that it felt as short of the sleeves of the sweatervests themselves...
Good stuff guys!
@@newchristianity3895 How is theonomy unbiblical?
Amen!
We could enter a dark age? Well ya, it’s a possibility. Don’t forget the Great Reset. Who knows! Let’s see what happens.
Abraham Kuyper
“There's not a square inch in the whole domain of human existence over which Christ, who is Lord over all, does not exclaim, 'Mine'!”
What utter BS
How come is an educated gentleman with degrees and whose first language is English is keep saying "Jeff and I?"
"Jeff and me" is the correct form at 1:16
The reverse of Kuyperian is the enemy. Pretty sure my Bible says that too fellas! Great discussion.
Is James White deliberately going for a Francis Schaeffer look?
Sweater vest!!!! I love these videos.
You have the American Vision guys like DeMar etc...maybe all of these guys can get together and work for a much larger coalition.
Amillennialism is the correct view.
I like that joke "I'm a pan millennial... it'll all pan out in the end." Which is pretty much my view, I find it all very confusing.
One I refute and another I never heard of. 😂😂😂😊
I agree with JW. It is worse to be DW.😅😅😅 I can't believe how much they hate Doug. It's crazy.
