btw, if anyone have nt notice, that thing at the top left corner of the phone is a fm transmittor, which is inbuilt in most of the fast port adaptor.
its so grate with the 3.5mm audio jack !
This phone is definitely better, I assure you you will be happy with this phone, its got all the nice features because its a walkman and its got a great design, GET W995!

been thinking that for weeks now, but decided to get this.
I have been looking to buy a new mobile for ages, because I was going for the Nokia N86, sony satio just released or the Samsung Pixon 12. I looked at reviews and I went or bought the Sony Ericsson W995 as it had all the features I could ever want. Great battery and the camera is 8.1 m pixel. So I love gadgets and believe me iv'e had them all this phone is the best of the bunch period..
I was going to get the w760i, but this looks way better than that. This one has a 3.5m jack, 8.1MP with auto focus, 8 GB, 20 hours battery life for music, refined playback buttons and all the goodies its predecessors already have.
It would be a steal If i can get the unlocked for around $450. but it's most likely going to be $600+ :(
Yeah is definitely an 8GB memory stick- one of the reasons to get it imo. Getting one of these today, can't wait! x
I have this phone and like it. Nice pictures at 8MP. My only beefs are: AT&T needs to beef up their coverage infrastructure. Here in the Detroit area, it's often difficult to get a strong signal, even tougher if you get off the main grids in the state.
Also, after a short time, my phone would no longer hold the off brand microchip securely. It would not stay in. Another brand with notches/indents on the blank side "wings" would stay in. Hate to have to spend the money for another chip.
does this phone have torch light function ? this phone has video and photo flash, but some phones have video and photo flash, but dun have torch light function
If this phone had a touchscreen and stylus like the w960i, it would be perfect

i myself is using this phone currectly, it doesn't hang at all, no auto restart, camera quality is good especially on the auto focus for walkman phone, i can even take doc clearly and even a strand of hair on the table. The SE logo does not get scratched easily for me. its just tat U need to adjust the scene modes. Auto mode doesn't allow the phone to show its best quality.
I agree with you, I only use the camera in holidays too.Exept from loudness, how's the quality? Does the bass sound good?

I live in Finland and I checked online and it was 599€. But now, as I check again, in Gigantti (a nordic electronic store chain) it cost´s 600, but I checked another place online and, you´re right, its fucking 470€. So here we see what´s it like in Finland :D.

n95 8gb is old and big.the picture quality of the se w995 is way better and the sound in the headsets way above to.n95 8g is better only on video recording.and w995 is a walkman phone not symbian one.

Its nice looking phone and I am sure, it is a great phone otherwise too. But 600€ for a phone? C´mon, how many people can drop 600€/$ on a cellphone? Get rid of the GPS and drop the megapixels down to like five or something, so it would be a little more affordable.

i hate how when you pick up one of their phones to demo it, its got all that security crap on it. It's not even worth it. Why isn't the power port on the BOTTOM of the phone? That'd make it so much easier to hold.. UI looks choppy

Cost like 470€ here when it comes out. But I dont know what phone im going to buy, this W995 or Idou . xD
ive had the phone for roughly 6 months. It's still performing great, however the screen gets several tiny sceratches if you dont protect it. still runs fast, and performs great. I bought it at the time for AU$500, which in my opinion now is a total rip off for what i paid. its worth much less, however a great phone nonetheless.

i got c905 n its got better camera coz its cybershot nd apart rom that there basiclly the same cybershot have the same media player as walkmans now, dnt get it get c905

8.1 MP is nothing with those lens.The N95 8GB's 5MP camera is 3times better.And has better sound PLUS it's symbian which pwns sony.
