    I learned how to cook my Japanese sweet potatoes from you and can’t understand why anyone would cook them any other way! They’re so yummy! I like to cut them into smaller pieces after and eat them in a lettuce cup with nothing else.

    Omg I remember my fitness era when I was 17-19 years old. I did everything right like you do, 5-6 times/ week in the gym, perfectly studied planed workouts 1-1.5h, plus bicycle to go around, and a vegetarian diet with 100-125g proteins/day. It didn’t work. I never got visible abs and could never lower my % fat. I worked so so hard. I was just tired and inflamed. Then I gave up the weights and became high carb low fat vegan and magically lost 10-15lbs, got my dream weight, even got abs sometimes but no muscle :( . So much disappointment. But you go girl!

    Oats spike my sugar. Yes it fills me up for a few hours. Then after a few hours I’m famished. Like I want to eat a half of a cow hungry. I’m less hungry not eating anything than eating oats.

      That's really odd, we have Peanut Butter Oats with berries nearly every morning and I'm satisfied til 3pm. Maybe you're not eating enough? We would have 2/3cup of quick oats soaked in hot water, with a scoop of protein powder or peanut butter, berries on top

    Breakfast Coffee- made in the keurig, generous splash of unsweetened soy.
    Good music helps me get through tough stretches in the workout. Mantras like “I’m so strong. I can do this. I’m gonna get through this. Almost done.” Focusing on breath. Focusing on a spot. Checking form really meticulously. All that helps me cope with the temporary anguish. Lol

    Thanks for another great video!Coffee is a must for me, its like a hug in the morning! I use instant coffee because its easiest, not the tastiest but it gets the job done. My regular coffee is 1 tbsp instant coffee, a splash of sugar free Torani syrup, water, and oat milk. If I need extra protein, I make my coffee iced and throw a serving of vanilla protein powder in it.

    I don’t lose weight if I eat above 1700 cals. If I eat 1800, I will maintain. I am 5’9 and I weigh 70kg, and I can’t lose weight without eating around 1500-1600cals. That’s tracking to a tee. I also seem to be one of those people (and this is with years of experience) where I can’t eat crap food, stick to deficit and still lose weight. I need to eat whole foods and stick to deficit. I see people lose weight eating highly processed foods, so long as they stick to deficit, but, sadly (at times, when I just want eat crap) my body goes “nope.” and gains, and then it takes me a week or 2, to stabilise again.

    @Chelsea Mae nice video. But did you know that eating in the morning (breakfast ) isn’t actually necessary? In fact, Harvard Dietitian studies disproves the theory that breakfast is the most important of meal the day. In fact the word breakfast is a compound word meaning to break your fast after a long period of not eating. Harvard studies also confirms it’s not necessarily when you eat, but what you eat when you break your fast that’s important. As this will determine whether or not you experience unhealthy cravings. You should always break your fast with protein. And never with donuts , danishes or other unhealthy refined sugar snacks. I personally have never been a person who eats in the morning (breakfast) and has practiced intermittent fasting more than half of my life. And I’m In great health and no problems with losing body fat and no problems with unhealthy late night cravings. Nevertheless, everyone should do what works for them. Blessings! 🙂

    I wouldn't go lower than 16-18 % bodyfat as a woman, because female hormones are getting too low, which influence mood, sleep, energy levels, thyroid, sex drive etc.. Feminine curves are lost when bodyfat gets so low.

    • @ChelseaMae
      @ChelseaMae  หลายเดือนก่อน +20

      Biggest thing is absolute amount of fat. So not going under a certain amount of fat. In terms of percentages, the more muscle you gain, the lower the fat percentage, even if the absolutely amount stays the same.
      It’s not as simple as just looking at a percentage and saying it’s too low. It depends on a lot of other factors.
      4 years ago my body fat was 19% and I was way skinner. I actually have MORE fat now, but also more muscle… which is why yearly my body fat % is going down.
      It’s wild to me to be at these numbers because if I’d achieved this years ago, I would have HAD to lose an unhealthy amount of fat… but now I just build more muscle.
