I have been eyeing this board for quite a few weeks. I love the bluntly sharp side profile. Just ordered mine this morning before getting here. Love your video as always. And I agree this seems like a disgustingly good value.
Those Keygeek LM switches are absurding addicting to mess around with inside and outside of the keyboard. Thanks for blessing my feeds today hope all has been well for you man, and will catch you on the next stream!
i had previous experience with the dr-70f i bought for my friend. Maybe its cuz i was not in the keyboard scene for a while, but the quality for the price was astounding. I really really wanted one for myself lol, but i already got a nice one
Kind of wish it had been a 65XT layout with the ability to put the macro columns on the left or right -- would have been in line with their previous designs that could be made southpaw.
Looks really good, especialy for 120$, but i dont quite get it, does it really come with no plate included by default ? At least there is no plate mentioned in the package list.
I know this is completely unrelated but I'm deciding on an end-game ish board and could use some help from the wonderful community. I am currently looking between a second-hand Sonnet (refresh) and a new Neo 75 CU. I like the fact I can customize it exactly how I want but wonder how much they differ. I know Mode is boutique but have heard complaints about space bars being hollow. I do also like flex so I am leaning towards the lattice mount but not sure how the Neo 75 CU compares as I see it is also soft in the gasket mount (although perhaps not as much)! I'd be looking to pair with alu plate and minimal foam for a clacky build (coming from an original Tofu60). Many thanks.
I don't own a Neo75, so I can't make a direct comparison. I built my Sonnet this week and what I can say is that it is one of the best boards I own in terms of quality and sound (Currently 15 Keebs). I don't use foam and a PC plate and can't detect any hollow spacebar. Build is very clacky and clear. Absolute recommendation for a 75% keeb.
@Wizzard_Simsport oh okay perhaps it's just some QC errors, I heard a few people saying they were disappointed. Thanks for your recommendation. Do you use the lattice blocks and, if so, how do they feel in terms of give? Also how is evenness across the board as I know with the envoy there was some disparities of sound especially with the arrow cluster (perhaps due to the screws interfering with them which the sonnet doesn't have)?
I owned a sonnet and currently have a neo 75cu. the neo is way more bang for the buck and it is excellent quality. The sonnet was fine. I felt it was over priced for what it is. I highly recommend the neo
@@trippleaj that's reassuring to hear, I really do like the concept and innovation by Mode but my ultimate question was is it worth the extra money. This makes me definitely want to go for the Neo 75 CU. Some people say it's stylised and will fall out of fashion but tbh I think it's quite subdued and the only statement piece is the back which you won't see too often.
Thanks for sharing! Just a quick off-topic question: I have TRC20 USDT in my OKX wallet and I have the recovery phrase: 【pride pole obtain together second when future mask review nature potato bulb】. What is the best way to transfer them to Binance?

they even include 2 elevator buttons
Stay blessed alex. And stay warm.
KBB sounds incredibly deep. Beautiful keyboard layout
Thanks a lot for another great video!
I also have a DR70F from the studio and it's lovely, especially considering its competitive price.
You can’t argue with DR prices. You could have every DR board out for under 500
That relatively low front height and a unique package looks really fun for the price.
If this had a split spacebar this was OP. But without it sadly its really nice but i cant go without.
What's the use for split spacebar? (or at least your use.) (genuine question btw)

What would you say you prefer? This or the neo80
I did NOT know you could press the buttons. I'm sold. Gimme.
Gah this is another cool layout I may have to get.

so stock it has no plate since you can build it plateless, they are charging extra for it
@alexotos well, sounds fair enough but i don't think that many people will opt for plateless.
You will need to order plate and foam as extras. But they are not expensive so I think it's alright.
does this use srew in or clip in stabs? Their build guide doesn't specify
Either is fine!

better than the neo65?
2 years ago this might have been 300-400 dollars
I think the hot swap pcb only has one option for the space bar and the soldered I saw two different options for space bar
Nope, hotswap has all the same layout options as solder which is pretty sick
