The MSI Raider GE76 is great for everyday use but also packs massive gaming power for incredible gaming performance. This laptop review is more of an experience video since it is one of the best gaming laptops I have used this year. 1080p is a joke when paying that much for a laptop. This is 2021 🤓
FYI you should mention the GE76 has a QHD and 4K option, so QHD would be the best balance for 17"
The problem is the GE76 with the QHD display is not yet available in the US.
I'm really excited that you can get 16gb vram in this monster. The desktop card only has 12gb, so I didn't realize that 16gb vram nvidia laptops were available.

It definitely is nice when a laptop has lots of I/O and is user upgradeable.
360 Hz refresh rate... 🤯
No worries about gaming on a controller. I'm mainly a console gamer so I prefer controllers.

Screw Mac users, a PC doesn't have to be ridiculously flat to please everyone, this is perfect. We need a PC with performance not a mousepad with screen.

I hope one day to be able to play Cyberpunk in the way it was intended cause I still like the concept and love the world. I don't have a machine capable of running the game in it's best showing so I'll just have to wait but when I can and I'm able to immerse myself there I hope to be able to sink some time in it and really enjoy it :D this is a really nice machine! It's nice to see that the ray tracing can be cranked up! I don't have the kind of money to spend on something like this but hopefully for those who do, enjoy it :)
I have no problem with sponsored videos because everyone has to pay the bills. My only issue is when the company that made the product is the sponsor. Because then it feels like “Oh they paid me so let me tell you how amazing the product is” Look I know you don’t need advice from someone who doesn’t even make TH-cam videos but that’s just how it comes across to me.

Just because it’s sponsored it doesn’t mean the facts aren’t true. You can check with many other reviews. This laptops thermals are excellent.
I have this laptop, it’s a beast. Despite using old school thermal technology (no Alienware vapor chamber or the quad fans new tech, and no Asus liquid metal) it excels. I had an Alienware m17 r4 (sold it) and an X17 11980hk 3080 64gb 4TB ssd (returned it). This laptop is better than both in thermals and performance. His assessment is accurate
@Кристиян Трънбашев in my region, the 1080p is the only offered display panel. However, if 1440p is available in your region, that would be the best option.
It's quite surprising that Intel sent you an old generation of its CPU to you for test!
Even if it's old it's still making sales just because they send it out. Advising goes a long way for old and new stuff.

Does it last a good time?
I play CP2077 on my rtx 2060 laptop at high settings and I get 50-60 fps. It does get a little loud, but a laptop with an rtx 3080 shouldn't. Just my opinion.
I mean, it's a laptop with a 3080... there's a lot more heat to get rid of than on a 2060 laptop, so I'd say this result is still relatively respectable.
mines stoped blowing heat out the back after 6 months... light work is causing the laptop to heat up way to much now... any thoughts on why the back vents no longer blow heat out?

360hz is pretty useless though. Since most demanding games don’t hit any near 360 frames per second. You’re better off with 1440p screen to take advantage of that 3070
Not really... 360hz is for competitive gaming, and nearly all competitive games can hit that refresh rate. Whether 360 hz is worth it over 1440p is up to you, although personally I'd rather the 360z on a laptop monitor with it's high ppi.
@@bryannoneya3998 144hz is plenty. Maybe even 240. But 360hz common man. Even the esports don't fps that high on a laptop. Maybe a desktop.

Can you connect two monitors on this laptop?
I believe so, it has a hdmi 2.1 slot and also a mini display to display port so id assume you can connect it to two sceens, i have it plugged into one using the hdmi 2.1

Well crap. Intel just released their 12th Gen CPUs. I guess I’ll have to wait until MSI updates the GE66 and GE76 🙄

@@dannywinget My patience was thin, so I ended up buying an MSI GE66 Raider off of Best Buy before they sold out again. My prediction is that the 12th Gen Intel CPUs won’t make it into laptops until 2Qtr 2022. I can’t wait that long ☹️ The GE66 model I bought has the Intel 11980HK, 240Hz QHD display, RTX3080 16GB (130W), 1TB NVMe, and 32GB 3200 DDR4. MSRP $2999.99. I decided I would rather have a 15 inch laptop as I plan to business travel more next year. The GE76 is a great laptop, but only comes with a HD display and is a bit too big for travel IMO. My new GE66 arrives next Wednesday. I’ll follow-up on it if you want. This particular model is brand new and there aren’t really any detailed reviews available yet, so hoping I don’t get a lemon or Monday model…
