I really cannot get over how the two brothers both said such similar stuff! So sincere about their pet loves and hates too! The way Dave was tearing up when he was asked about who he would like to have for dinner dead or alive! What a lovely family! 🧸🧸
Dave's got great knowledge, especially of ol' school Ford's. Same age as me) and so many things dave say's about when we were younger and the impressions some of the car's had on us i can relate to, happy birthday dave.
I lost my grandparent's in 1972 when i was 6 still miss them now and my wife and kids are my world. If you havent watched Guy Martin's Lost WW2 bomber you need to see it, just amazing.
Really like these videos 📹 fellas I glad you mentioned the sweeney as well as minder dave lovely to see 👀 that you still remember your elders jack is turning out to be a very fine young man but I put that down to being surrounded by good respectful people 👍 take care and stay lucky and healthy keep up the great work 😊❤
Both really nice guys to talk to. Met Dave a couple of times at rallies at Anglesey and Hexham. Met Jack at Hexham just as they were leaving the service park after the Kielder stages. I’d driven down from Falstone after our stage finished and drove around the park looking for Dave’s truck but couldn’t find it so started driving out to the main road and realised the truck was behind me so pulled over. Dave told me they were going across the road to the services so I followed them. Got there and Dave and Jack both came over to say hello to me. That was the highlight of the day after seeing Jack in the Escort in Falstone stage going really well. I’ve built a really good friendship with Dave and Jack. They always have time to stop and have a few words. I’ve been a rally marshal for a long time now and getting to know the Mathewsons has to one of the best things that’s happened. Loved Dave’s answers to the questions. Brilliant. Happy 52nd birthday Dave.

My grandad used to call me winkle too. Never knew what it meant
Mine did too. It was a term of endearment I believe. Although he'd also call me a pilchard if I done something wrong or didn't take his good advice.
