I am pretty sure he tried to abduct me as a young teen girl. I was delivering newspapers early o. Sunday morning when a man in a vw bug pulled up to me. I dropped my bike and hid. I went back and got my bike when I thought it was safe and again the VW showed up and he got out of his car. I ran to a door and pounded on it, waking up a homeowner who let me in.
Nate's excellent interview as always. Straight into the story.. Skilled to ask the best questions, just like the Daybell case he covered. No other investigator on other sites can get the best questions we all want answered.. Following this killer since 1975 when he propositioned me when I was young, out on the west coast. I'm 69 yrs old, I'd like to know how many females he propositioned and he didn't get.
She too was a victim of Ted..that whole association with him was victimizing. Knowing Ted while he was tearing other women clean out the frame..terrifying..
Who cares about Ted Bundy’s lofty dreams? If I was his victim, I would not want a fluffy book out talking about his childhood, his family history. Every book portrays him as handsome, charming, intelligent…what about his sadistic murderous personality?
I think these types like Bundy are born wired wrong and something sets them off many of them have described a monster inside them that they have no control over and can’t stop what they do it’s the only thing that makes them feel exhilarated and alive 😢
What I’d like to know from these women is what about Ted Bundy’s very early life, the fact that the unwed teenage Louise’s father was a Violent misogynist who may have been the man who impregnated her, that they were then forced to live the lie that his young mother was his older sister. Other young men in families like this, living this particular lie, grew up with tremendous stored up rage at women for lying to them. This happened in those days to families where strict religions were practiced and they lived this lie to protect the young mother and baby from the judgment of the family and the community. His mother made a big deal in her testimony in the penalty phase of his trial in Florida about their family being an all American churchgoing family with the emphasis on church. She made no mention of the fact noted by others that she may have been raped by her own father. No mention of this man, Ted’s grandfather who he lived with being an abusive sex obsessed man who collected true detective magazines with graphic pictures of women being abused. No mention was made about the time his mother/sister found a knife in her bed that then 3 year old Ted had put there. This family had secrets meant to protect the child and his mother but actually protected the perpetrator.
He did assign some of the blame of his actions to pornography. Maybe growing up looking at his grandfathers pornograhy was an element. And there was abuse in the household?
The buck knife that he used to kill the sorority girls at FSU was purchased at a sporting goods store in Jacksonville, Fla. I’m friends with the then-owner’s grandson. Within minutes of purchasing the hunting knife, Bundy attempted to pick-up a young girl outside the store who was at a bus stop. Fortunately, her boyfriend drove-up as he was talking to Ted. Words were exchanged and the boyfriend said he was going to call the cops. Ted he drove away and then got on I-10 West toward Tallahassee and the FSU campus less than 3 hrs away.
Ted was a disturbed young man and I doubt very much his mother didn't know something was "off" with him. I do believe her when she said she thought he was innocent tho, because he manipulated everyone so well...except Liz ..she caught on to him and if it wasn't for her calling the police about him, who knows if he would have been caught..
Eight years ago at the age of 56 I was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder after a very traumatic event. People with DID have experienced complex repeated trauma in early childhood. Dissociation is a sophisticated coping mechanism where a person dissociates to escape physical, emotional and mental pain when being abused for example. I feel that the alters fall into categories of archetypes. For example there will be a victim, a protector, an abuser, etc. In my case I have a ‘Mother’, a Writer, etc. 19:46 While I had very unusual and at times hysterical symptoms it took a year to be diagnosed. I subsequently had weekly appointments for two years with my psychiatrist who was an international expert in Dissociative Disorders. Followed by four years of weekly then bi-monthly appointments with a psychologist who specialized in DID. During this period I was able to identify more than 20 alters also known as parts or aspects of myself. Some are related to trauma, some to functional roles and some with unique personalities. They range in age from 8 months to 80+. Most are female. When I am triggered I switch where one of my alters will front. Most times I am able to observe and feel what is happening without being able 19:46 to control the situation. There have been times where I have completely switched and have amnesia as to what has happened. Often when I switch I do not have memories of what I said or what happened. When I watched the Netflix documentary about Ted Bundy I immediately felt that he had undiagnosed DID. Which is not unusual as research only really began in the 90s and is still not fully accepted in the psychiatric community. It is extremely rare to find a psychiatrist who can diagnose it. As I watched the series I began to be able to see when Ted switched, for example, in court. This does not take away from the heinous murders he committed. It does however explain how a mentally ill person can be this violent. Just imagine how many murderers in prison may have DID. For more information you can consult the ISSTD.
I believe millions of ppl have this disorder due to MK ultra trauma based mind control black ops program. This was developed in the concentration camps in ww2, then those dr’s were brought to USA &Russia to develop the program further. It’s in the schools now. VERY evil black ops program. This is how they can attach a demon to an unsuspecting soul. We live in a demon world!! We are all victims. The level of torture in the program can fracture a victim multiple times &cause irreparable damage. So many ppl suffer out there &nobody even KNOWS!! The demons want a whole bunch of Ted bundys running around. All sorts of distorted personalities. &we don’t hear or ANY current serial killers out there. Of course the machine world we live in has produced countless! Time to wake up ppl. There’s games afoot.
Ted remembered every crime he commited and told those details of what he did to those women to detective keppel. If he did have DID and one of his alters did the crime, he wouldn't be able to describe those crimes in detail. He used those details to game the system and manipulate the authorities to delay his execution. He doesn't fit the diagnostic criteria for DID.
His mother struggled mightily to portray the family as an all American church going family to cover up the shame heaped upon “wayward girls” in those days when the perps got off scot free. She was made to pretend she was his sister
I've enjoyed this (so far, not finished) I just wish the author would quit butting in so much. Whenever the other woman had a issue, fine, but, it's rude to talk over someone or interupt.

So you're saying he has empathy for his family members? That's a huge stretch and just not true. But I'll give you a break. It could be because in his mind he knew his family. However we are a family of human beings don't you agree? Just because he's a friend of one of his family, doesn't mean that he wouldn't snuff her out in a moment. Wake up!
@ it’s a fact that he never harmed any family members or friends. I said nothing about empathy. I just stated a fact.
@@Vivianamarie01 your facts mean nothing to me, or I presume Ted Bundy. I'm only trying to educate you about what sociopaths feel...nothing. All you have to do is think about it. Or read some books in the field of sociopathology. I'm just trying to help no need to get nasty.
You were a smart girl who trusted your instincts! Good for you !
So interesting!
Rest in peace to all bundy victims ❤😢❤😢😢❤😢❤😢❤❤😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great interview
Nate's excellent interview as always. Straight into the story.. Skilled to ask the best questions, just like the Daybell case he covered. No other investigator on other sites can get the best questions we all want answered.. Following this killer since 1975 when he propositioned me when I was young, out on the west coast.
I'm 69 yrs old, I'd like to know how many females he propositioned and he didn't get.
She too was a victim of Ted..that whole association with him was victimizing. Knowing Ted while he was tearing other women clean out the frame..terrifying..
Nate is such a good guy. Pure soul. ❤
Excellent interview!
That monster is called sadism.
@ but SK’s are very rare , people can be sadistic but not SK’s to the extent of eg RH , BTK , GRK , etc
He tried to blame it on porn, but it was something much more than that, more like what you have described with the wiring
You mean a demon inside of them.
I think there’s countless. They jst don’t report on them anymore..
So many WOW moments in this interview!
A key factor he shared with the UK child killer Ian Brady was that both were separated from their mothers early on..
Blood tests later confirmed he wasn’t a product of incest.
I lived in eastern Idaho back then and was a 11 year old .. spooky to say the least
He was hunting the whole time, I totally believe this
He was actually born in Burlington, Vermont, at "The Elizabeth Lund Home for Wayward Girls". My hometown.
Nate, thank you for another great interview.
He tortured and murdered and mutilated my friend when we were in high school. He was a sick monster. I won't be reading your book.
Thankyou, you've restored my faith in humanity. Most people on this thread are salivating over the prospect of reading this horrible stuff.
Old Edna is just grinning away talking about her serial killer cousin. Her claim to fame and now a way to make a buck. RIP victims.
Thankyou for truth telling! The channel owner seems to think it's all just fine, and wishes we would just shut up ❤
Nate, you are the best!🎉
He was a demon prowling the earth for the ruin of souls.
I'm a harsh critic. This is a wonderfully conducted interview with serious content.
Thank you for this interview! This was very interesting.
Great show.
Can't wait to read the book.
Did he ever find out who his father was..?
I've heard people speculate that it may have been incest...?
I would like to hear about the woman lives who were taken by Ted Bund.
Google is your friend man.
((hugs))
Wow just wow.
Why the hell I'm enjoying this interview?
Very interesting 👍🏼
Your a great interview
They had no idea? Teddy`s close set eyes should have been the first clue.
He asks, "why did you write a book" about two seconds after she said her daughter urged her to do it. What a stooge...
The usual reason. Money.
Invaluable!
Ted Bundy, the gift that keeps on giving.
The writer answers for her way too much.
She was interjecting for clarity. I'm glad she was there.
I just bought the audible off A before hearing the site name
“Struggling with the unimaginable “? That’s what his victims had to do.
Why is the cousin smiling so much, that’s a bit creepy.
It’s a physiological stress relief response.
Same
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if Ted targeted Linda Ann via her connection to Ted’s cousin?🤔 No conscience.
Oh, yeah. He also had a couple of classes with Linda.
Why she didn't report him when she suspected he was killing women!!!!!
They should make a horror movie like Freddie vs Jason except it could be Bundy vs Dahlmer vs BTK vs Gacey lol
Why did he choose Florida to go to if he knew it had stricter death penalty?
He apparently wanted to get as far away from those other states where he was a wanted man and it was a hotter and nicer climate down there.
I think he wanted to die….
@susanbeach9872 i doubt he wanted to die. I think he liked to play games and thought it would be more fun.
Serial killers also unconsciously want to die.
How do you know this?
What kind of personality did Ted’s mother have ?
She’s the typical all-American mom/grandma type.
His mother struggled mightily to portray the family as an all American church going family to cover up the shame heaped upon “wayward girls” in those days when the perps got off scot free. She was made to pretend she was his sister
Wow very interesting thanks Nate!
Everyone is still cashing in on this guy.
Nobody is getting rich off of Ted Bundy
@scottdaley1672 how come the publicist is in this interview then?
I've enjoyed this (so far, not finished) I just wish the author would quit butting in so much. Whenever the other woman had a issue, fine, but, it's rude to talk over someone or interupt.
Why is the publicist being interviewed? Because she told her to write the book? It’s weird to me. And her speaking for the cousin..? This is soo weird. PS-Oh she’s an author! Edna said publicist.
Yes, you also are awake. Very few people spotted the strange set up of this interview. Also both women are smirking throughout...
Wow. Just wow.
What I'd like to know is what was TB's relationship with his mother? Who WAS his father and was TB into the occult? I believe TB blamed his crimes on reading/watching porn at a very young age. There had to be something else going on here.
Not sure why she’s smiling so much…
Smiling?
Yes, I noticed that too. Smirking by both women, very inappropriate
23:20
This is chilling, he’s acting normally, yet thinking murderous at the same time, just whoa
Did she talk about her in the third person while she was part of the conversation?
Lecturing about what was her situation.
He was born in Burlington, Vermont
